Hey Steve, I'm very happy to see that you're taking life by the reigns and healing at your own pace. You are such an inspiration to me, and your attitude never fails to remind me that life is all about the little things and being present. Thank you for the hard work and content!
Steve, your morale in this video is inspiring and made my night. I know how much you've gone through over the last year and fostering the attitude you have is incredibly admirable!! It's inspiring me to take on life as well - I just went on a 5K run and feel great. :) Also, I love that you're getting back into cycling in some form! Your points about how there are spots that you'd "drive right by" and that you feel like you just want to get to where you're going are really accurate. @@Maxpower88888 If you use a bike as more than exercise, making the pedaling (which you still do on an ebike since its not a motorcycle) less energy intensive on the body is better, because it makes you work up less of a sweat if yorue commuting and extends your viable range in a day by a large amount. And I say that as someone who lives in one of the hilliest parts of Canada and is currently in the process of purchasing a 3 gear dutch bicycle without any electrical assist.
@@Maxpower88888What are you talking about? E-bikes are widely appreciated by hardcore bikers because it extends your viable biking range and assists you in potentially dangerous spots. They're not motorcycles, you're still doing most of the work. On top of that, they're great for people who are infirm, elderly, or otherwise have issues regarding straight hardcore constant pedaling and it allows them mobility that they otherwise might not have. You should relax and not comment on things you clearly don't understand.

First of all, Happy Birthday! Second, I believe that the majority of us who are subscribed or who watch a lot of your videos aren't here just for stealth camping or even camping camping. We're here for you, your personality, and your video style. Sure stealth camping vids are good for numbers and I imagine they are better at pulling in views from those who haven't seen your stuff otherwise. But my point is, make what you want to make, and I can say with confidence we'll be here for it (putting this out here because a few times in the past and in this vid you've apologized for it not necessarily being stealth camping)

You are looking super healthy Steve, my boy!!!!! Both physically and mentally. I have some pretty serious trauma from when my mom was murdered back in 2007. It takes a lot of hard work, patience, and most importantly….time. I see a therapist regularly just to keep a healthy relationship with my own mind. I mentioned you to him, and told him it’s been really nice to see someone manage grief and continue their journey with such rigorous honesty and integrity. Needless to say, he was very confused why I was so inspired by someone who camps in storm drains and blanket forts, but after an arduous attempt at explaining it, he eventually caught on. So many people care about you and your journey and you have unwillingly become an emotional barometer for people who are going through their own “dark night of the soul” Seeing you do it, with such bravery and dedication is truly astounding to watch. Thanks Steve! May your creek beds all be filled with trout, may the grizzly bears be uninterested, and may your propane always be full on your mr. buddy heater!!!!!!!

Hi Steve. I'm from the uk. I just wanted to thank you for sharing your videos on stealth camping. I suffer from anxiety and find it hard to sleep at night. But watching your videos makes me happy and it puts me in a better frame of mind at night. Since watching. I've been sleeping better. My favourite videos are the ones where you camp behind signs and things near the road 😂 much love. Keep up the amazing work and changing lives for the better ❤
It's so good to see you back at Steve! 🙏🏽💜 But, I just can't get over that someone actually took the time to drive into the woods just to throw away a TV! I can never understand why people just don't put their trash out properly. To bad Crazy Neighbor isn't picking you up in the morning so you can dispose of it properly.
I share your astonishment over the person who tossed the TV. That person made a conscious decision to load a TV into a vehicle, drive into the woods, pull the TV out of the vehicle, and heave it among the trees. Who *does* that? And why? It isn’t difficult to recycle, or at least put it in a proper receptacle. I figure it’s probably the same people who thought it was fun to break things when they were kids. 😢
Beautiful how nature has reclaim the decommissioned road. Working for the forest service I've discovered a road similar to that in my region that has almost entirely healed from human intervention. Love seeing that stuff! Keep up the wonderful vibes Steve :)

You never know what tomorrow will bring. When I was 32 I was living in the back of my truck. Hoping for the best for you Donald!
This too shall pass sounds cliche. But, it’s so true. I don’t know you, but I’m going to pray for you. 32. So young. You will get through this circumstance.
Wow, in the beginning I thought maybe this was just going to be a scouting trip but then Steve breaks out all the camping equipment from the little side saddles and cooks up a full meal! BTW, kind of got some Blair Witch vibes after dinner, lol
@@campingwithsteve Happy Birthday Steve! You bring some laughs, joy and calm to so many. "We're livin' in the future" line gave me a chuckle.. with your selfie stick that extends. Thanks for all you do on here.... Wishing you the best in life.
P.S. Donald... best wishes to you also.
Happy birthday Steve, we appreciate you sharing it with us. So glad to see you getting out and exploring. You and your videos do so much good for so many people, including myself. Cheers to you Steve
Happy birthday 🎁🎊🎂🎉🎈 Steve! I hope that in the quiet moments, you feel all the love we have for you! The world needs more people like you! You never cease to give back our faith in humanity!
This exactly.
Love this comment!
When all the other youtube camping videos are trying to demonstrate best practices and buying all the nice trendy gear, your approach is refreshing, unique and encourages me to just go out and do it whether it's the perfect setup or not.
❤ Happy Birthday Steve! 🎉 Great stealth camping once again. You bring such happiness to so many. Thank you and God Speed! ❤
Thanks so much :)
You’re a hell of a role model Steve! One positive, resilient, creative dude. Loved the sleeping setup on this one. Simplicity at its best! Best wishes and happy birthday man!!
I appreciate that! So glad you enjoyed it :)
Happy Birthday, Steve. Thanks for taking us on your hunkering down adventures. You do what many of us dream of doing. Keep strong and be safe.
Ebike camping would be a cool series keep doing stuff like this!
Happy birthday Steve thank you for all the things you do for us here sitting behind a screen to the places you hunker down and make a better place before you leave a true rare gem to this world we love you.
Steve’s videos are so binge worthy and also they are never boring. It’s always so nice to tag along with you man!
So true! Prior to COVID & even now, after a hard days work, we like to crack open a step two & follow along with Steve & crazy neighbor's adventures
@@Scarfacekiller Exactly! Nothing beats a man on various camping adventures just being real, and it truly feels as though we’re all friends of his coming along for the ride!
Happy Birthday Steve! We love you my man...more than you could imagine. You are never alone and you are loved.
Happy 42nd Steve, you are so fun to virtually hang out with. Your videos bring me tremendous joy and peace of mind. Congrats on the new e-bike. And thank you for just being you and producing all this amazing content.

Happy 42nd B'day, Steve! 🎂🍻
Thanks.
Also, I love that you're getting back into cycling in some form! Your points about how there are spots that you'd "drive right by" and that you feel like you just want to get to where you're going are really accurate. Cycling is so immersive, and I'm excited to see all the cool spots you find! I love the shots of you riding your bike too - the invisible selfie stick is awesome!
I always love Steves positivity. Its so wholesome and i love seeing him out just enjoying life.
I'm proud of you man you've gone through some tough times recently, but you still push through that inspires me to keep going in my life, thanks Steve you taught me a lesson.
Happy 42nd Birthday brother steve! I'm glad you have your chin up and you're staying busy doing what you love best because I sure love it. I can live vicariously through you some days when I'm too busy or even when I'm going through a rough patch in life. Appreciate you man!
Always nice to spend time with Steve.
I’ve never been so proud of a content creator. Admittedly one of my favorites on a small list. You keep on keeping on brotha!! You’re a warrior in life and can take on anything 💪
Happy birthday, Steve! Great to see you back in the saddle and - as you say - taking on life. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures in the great Canadian outdoors - you’re a great ambassador, not only for Canada, but for humanity.
@@MichelleSpence-pw4bp It’s OK - the bears and the alligators keep them away.
@@MichelleSpence-pw4bp And I’d be waaaaaaay ahead of you!!! 🤣
Its so good to see you out and riding. Bike riding can bring so much joy and freedom it's just nice to feel the wind in your hair and it's so different than sitting in a car. Happy to see you smiling Steve.
An ebike is not biking… no need of them we have legs let’s use them
@@Maxpower88888 If you use a bike as more than exercise, making the pedaling (which you still do on an ebike since its not a motorcycle) less energy intensive on the body is better, because it makes you work up less of a sweat if yorue commuting and extends your viable range in a day by a large amount.
@@sappho114 no sorry bikes are meant to be pedalled for exercise no assistance needed.
There's a word for your ilk, it is called "luddite". @@Maxpower88888
Hey Steve, I’m Curtis Cullen from Nova Scotia Canada. I’ll be 42 years old this late May. Your videos are awesome!
Happy Birthday Steve! It makes me happy to see your love and respect for nature, and how you leave no trace of your camping. I hope your day was great...it sure looked it.
Happy Birthday, Steve! So glad you are here and doing what you love! Thank you for making the world a better place. 🎂🎈🎁
Steve, can I just say that tagging along with you on these adventures brightens my day beyond measure. I whole heartedly appreciate everything you do.
Steve, happy birthday, man. I... might be typing this 'late at night,' but I watch your videos and am able to vicariously live through your travels and exploits. It makes me wish I had a summer or something to enjoy the trip. Thank you for being "Us," Mr. Wallis.
Happy birthday Steve! So glad you spent it here in NS with all of us crazy east-coasters! So great to see you doing what you love best, with a smile and a Keith's.
Truly happy to be here sharing it with you, sort of😊.
And don't worry about the south shore...anyone coming through the woods there would probably just ask if you had an extra beer🙂
Happy Birthday Steve! Thanks for taking us with you on this day. Like others have said, it’s your personality that makes your channel fun and interesting and unique. I love the stealth camping; still it’s you that keeps me watching.
🎉 Happy Birthday, Steve and glad to see you. Making videos keep being strong and keep being yourself.
I sit down in Subway with my kids. They have convenient access to more napkins, drink refills, and somewhere to throw away the trash. We don’t Subway anymore though since they lied to us about the contents of the meatballs then we found out otherwise.
Laid up with a nasty vomiting bug. What better way to recover than to come camping with Steve fantastic to see our friend looking well.
But my point is, make what you want to make, and I can say with confidence we'll be here for it
(putting this out here because a few times in the past and in this vid you've apologized for it not necessarily being stealth camping)
I TOTALLY agree! I'm here for whatever Steve feels like putting out!
I agree, too. It is Steve who draws me here. What a nice man he is.
I agree. I love the adventures, but it's Steve that is the focus point. Just a fellow we all would love to sit and visit with.
100% agree!
I know I am here for you too Steve!!! I'd watch pretty much whatever from you . But THIS ....this is what you are so good at!!! I have to check in on you and make sure you are okay and Steve. If you are ever down here in Tulsa I've got tunnels lakes hidey holes you would have a blast.....cheers my friend
I love everything Steve puts out. This content genuinely saved my life once upon a time. Keep up the fantastic work, I love this channel.

Happy Birthday Steve. Not Stealth Camping, but man, was the roaming camping in random places fun to watch. I would watch a whole series like this.

Yay, Steve my man! I had a week like a truckload of manure dumped right onto me, and there's still a fifth of it to endure. I am glad you posted this video, it makes me want to go out into the forest with my dogs, which I definitely will on Saturday morning. Can't wait, it's literally like another world from work through the mirror.

@@campingwithsteve there will be a good end and step twos will be involved. And thank you so much for replying, I've been watching your channel since like 2018, never a dull moment, you always did the stuff I could not and/or would not do.
Much love from Belgium! Keep up the good work and stay strong despite the setbacks! You have +1 million people behind your back and we all love you!
Heyyyy, I'm another Belgian fan of Steve's.
Hello Neighbours. Germany here and also big fan of Steve's videos.
Europe represent! All we need is Steve doing a Belgian step 2 🍻
So many people care about you and your journey and you have unwillingly become an emotional barometer for people who are going through their own “dark night of the soul”
Seeing you do it, with such bravery and dedication is truly astounding to watch.
Thanks Steve! May your creek beds all be filled with trout, may the grizzly bears be uninterested, and may your propane always be full on your mr. buddy heater!!!!!!!
Happy Birthday Steve ! I know it can't be easy for you, but I think I can say we are all sure glad to see you trying to keep yourself in a peaceful space. Any adventure you take us on is a good one 👍God bless you, luv ya brother!! ❤
Love seeing Steve do new things as well as the old. Just something about his approach to it all, the idea that he’s just going to enjoy it, whatever it is and however it turns out, that brings joy to me watching it.
Happy birthday, Steve! Thanks for taking us along on your abandoned highway bike adventure.
When I can't sleep, I pick out one of your videos to watch. Not that they are boring, they put me at ease with my life. Keep on keeping on, Steve!
Happy Birthday Steve 🎉 really enjoyed that “abandoned highway camp” really good to see you again, enjoying your bike and camping. Relaxing for me to watch, it’s what I needed. 😊 I try to have a ‘step two’ with you as well. Best birthday wishes to you, all the best. ❤
0:01, that's right in my neighborhood, I live in Middlewood. I have land in that area you can feel free to camp on, open invite. That store you're in front of, Kasha, they have a decent selection of beer, btw. That highway is part of the old highway 3
Same here man....helps me get my mind off the craziness of life...greetings from US as well. Cheers.
Happy Birthday Steve! My 42nd year changed my life for the best. I pray that you find such blessings also.
Steve is the best type of person and such an inspiration. We need more people like Steve. Be like Steve today!
Beautiful how nature has reclaim the decommissioned road. Working for the forest service I've discovered a road similar to that in my region that has almost entirely healed from human intervention. Love seeing that stuff! Keep up the wonderful vibes Steve :)
Amazing, how nature reclaims her own!
It happens surprisingly quickly too
