Hey guys the people's who made invisible I've been green light for a season 2 and a season 3 don't know when they come out but they've been green lighted for both seasons bye
Hey guys you should react to plunderer it is a funny show if you don't want to do that one do the hidden dungeon that only I can enter it's funny too bye
Marks mom even set that up back in episode 1. "A knife straight to the heart with this one." He may not be that good at fighting, but Marks a killer with words.
Makes sense but also the biggest blow he landed on Omniman was his final line to him too, and it wasn't even physical...that hit me pretty deep to be honest.
@@TheArtman2023 invincible by definition means “too powerful to be defeated or overcome.” Yeah he’s definitely not invincible. He’s been beat the shit out of multiple times this season already.
Bro Mark saying "I'll still have you" hits so hard, just too painful to keep going. But omni-man being this ruthless warrior makes sense, his whole race is based on darwinism and they see every lifeform as inferior, since they are so weak compared to them and live so little. Him trying so hard to "reason" with Mark making all of these arguments is just him trying to convince himself too, because not doing so would basically be betraying everything he ever knew. He's also lived for thousands of years so you also gotta look from his perspective, he never had attachments in thousands of years so he never knew that he could love someone. Also the most fucked up part is that omni man is nice compared to other viltrumites lol no spoilers
This is interesting to me cuz they just showed Immortal as a caveman(?) last ep. That would mean Immortal would have lived through multiple lifetimes, multiple families. Before even knowing about this series the only other property I've seen touch on the issues of immortality is Age of Adeline and that spanned across a shorter time frame. Viltrumites are tough but they can die. Immortal can't die.
@Joe Dirt yeah I think pretty much the only way to kill the immortal is to dismember him and scatter his body parts like that silly rebooted Hellboy movies plotline xD
Pretty sure Allen's line about Viltrumites leaving was their races' brutal idea of conquest. Either you come back with a conquered planet or don't come back at all. Could be Omni-man knew he couldn't go through with it, and couldn't go home, so he just split.
I was thinking the same thing. After watching this episode i was thinking that this whole time if he wanted to he couldve taken over earth the minute he set foot in it. And that hed have to report all of his progress from time to time. So i was thinking if they know that hes been taking this long to conquer earth (knowing hes one of their elite soldiers they specifically chose for this kind if mission) if he goes back to viltrum hes instantly dead. Thats why i think he just dipped.
The longest living common pets make it to about 20 years that's a fifth of the average human lifespan. above Average human makes it to 100 Viltrimites live tens of thousands of years Debbie's time with Nolan has been a fifth of 1% of Nolan's possible lifespan.
There are plenty of pets that have lifespans equal to humans or longer. Parrots can live 80+ years. A nd a lot of tortoises can live for well over 100.
Which is more meaningful the length of time spent or the value of the time spent? Especially when the person ya spent it with gave you a child who will outlive you.
@@Sweet_Venom0027 true honestly it reminds me of the thunder cat episode where they hung out with those beings that lives were fully encompassed in a day
I had the same reaction but when I kept thinking about it I see her reaction as more like "you don't know what you have until its gone.". His name is Invincible and the whole world just saw almost die.
I dont dislike Amber like other ppl do. She seems like an average and smart teenager. She acts like most teens would. I do believe they shouldnt be together though. But how many of us made smart and good decisions on the reg as teens?
Ikr, can’t wait for her to get dumped for a certain somebody in very short and tight spandex (not trying to be racist especially since Amber was white in the comics)
@@soberscrim299 Same reason that Mary Jane is garbage in my opinion, in the comics she refuses to marry Peter Parker unless he *quits being Spiderman.* Imagine having such an inflated ego that you'll rob the largest city on the planet of it's greatest hero and moral compass... Just so you can save yourself grief that your husband might get killed one day fighting the good fight for every innocent, good natured person. The selfishness is just on another level entirely.
@@Akiraspin The fact that you can compare a bitch like Amber to someone as understanding as MJ blows my mind. You really think it's that easy for a lady to deal with her husband's death? Even worse, what about raising a child on her own? Nobody ever asks for that kind of pain and sadness. Just cuz Peter is a hero doesn't mean she is obligated to marry him. It's her choice. It's because she loves Peter too much she can't stand seeing him getting hurt. Not everyone is as selfless and strong as you like to think. Her reasons actually make sense. But Amber? Fuck no.
Omni Man isn't coming back to Earth cause he realized he cared for Mark too much to kill him and accomplish the mission. He also can't go back to Viltrum cause he'd probably be executed for abandoning his post and disobeying orders.
Just a little information: He won't be considered "weaker" as every generation in the viltrumite family will inevitably be stronger than their predecessors
Viltrumites get stronger as they age. Humans grow until they reach their prime, and then get weaker as they age. Viltrumites just get stronger. This process is also greatly accelerated if they are pushed to their limits in battle, hence their violent nature.
@@joelsasmad Yes, its said viltrumite DNA is so dominant that it overrides human DNA. Mark is considered full-blooded viltrumite. There is basically no difference between a Viltrumite and Mark
Just a note for Eve cause I've seen "she could end Omni-Man" a lot and the show hasn't covered it (yet, assuming it hasn't changed): her powers don't work on...like...animals/people/etc. She's incapable of using them that way, she can fuck with trees/rocks/metal/etc but not something that's alive in a manner similar to animals. She could create things to HIT him with (have fun with THAT one) but she couldn't fuck with his actual body. Also "You, dad. I'll still have you." remains one of the iconic comic lines of my youth and it HIT me like a truck to see it done this well.
So about that There was this special that came out some days ago And it was in her past And she could definitely mess with living things. I’ve not read the comics though so I have no idea about her powers apart from what we’ve been shown.
@@AnimeIntrospective I like the boys to but it's story focuses on making things as disgusting as possible. Even someone of my mental fortitude has a bit of a hard time watching that
This show literally blew me away. Coming in knowing nothing, I have become obsessed with this Universe. I am so excited for the next season's because it makes the stuff of this season feel so minimal its crazy. That train scene was one of the most intense scenes of any show I have seen in a very long time. This is one of the best first seasons of a show I have seen
That final fight was about Nolan fighting himself. He was semi-right about the stuff he said, why force himself to care for people who will turn to dust before he even blinks? Why go through the constant and from his point of view very fast and repeating cycle of loss and grief? Not to mention that carrying for anything other than Viltrim for a Viltrimite is certain death. He did love Debbie and Mark, still does, but he can't let himself get too attached.
I think you guys are overreacting. She was hurt because he didn't trust her to tell her the truth until it was way too late, but after the shit she saw he went through she was willing to give things another go with everything out on the table this time.
@@TheVondin Sge wasn't mad about that. She was mad about him lying to her afterwards instead of just telling the truth already. She gives him a bunch of chances before this too.
@@joelsasmad She literally said "Where the hell did YOU go?" and started crying because Mark said he'd try his best to still be there. He kept his identity a secret to keep HER safe and then he finally tells him and Amber basically says "Screw you Mark." She even was willing to date another guy hours after her and Mark broke up until the guy mentioned he had a girlfriend. And not to mention she literally said she already knew about him being Invincible.
On the Amber thing I my biggest problem is in the last episode of the revelation she knew. That combined with how she reacted at the college puts that character in a very negative veiw. I blame that on the writing of that moment Mark told her.
Oh its definitely the writing i feel like her not caring about him being a superhero was them wanting to think theyre clever with subverting expectations but it makes me like her alot less
Amber was a cool character until she dropped him even though she knew he was a superhero. I have no clue what her intentions are, but from the outside looking in, it looks like she went back to him because he was perceived as being the one to drive off omniman. GOLD DIGGER. lol Don't let her back Mark, she was the one that left you.
A bit of detail they forgot to add during the scene. Not only do Viltrumites slowly stop aging, but the older they get they also get stronger. So let’s also that in mind about Mark being not all that strong
@@PaintedHoundie What does he mean then? Also I honestly don't get were all this hate is coming from when we have characters like Rex, who did much worse for less reason to his bae, that don't get anywhere near this.
@@joelsasmad he meant she came back in after everything that happened to him. Not that she literally came to his house last that wouldn't make any sense to say that. Second, Rex is written consistently and is entertaining. Getting mad at Rex for being an obnoxious prick that is played for laughs is like getting upset at archer for being one. you dont have to like the character, but itd be a strange critique to point that out like that's not the point of the character. Amber is there to be the typical obstacle a teen hero faces in superhero stories where they're trying to balance out their personal and hero life. So people were rooting for her n him to work out because mark was genuinely fucking up in the boyfriend department. but her reaction to him with the cyborg was ridiculous. because in hindsight, since she revealed she knew for weeks, means she made him feel like she thought he was a terrible person, him being under the impression she thought he ran away from them, even though she basically knew he left to save their lives. Not to mention she interprets him not disclosing info as lying, when she disclosed info as well, and gave him a hard time about it, not even trying to understand why a hero would hide their identity. This paired with the fact that Amber isn't really entertaining, she's just kinda a typical witty/snarky teen and not much yet is fleshed out about her past that as of season 1. She helps out the soup kitchen, but past that we don't really know her personally much for people to give her a chance. Especially because the reason she was upset when she broke it down was he made her not feel special. As of now she's been pretty obnoxious and this isn't a character people expect to be obnoxious. It's not comparable to Rex at all.
@@PaintedHoundie It is not a strange critique just because it is part of the character. If it provides absolutely nothing to the show, or makes no sense that "this is just his character", or even worse if it's just a detriment to everything, it is completely normal to critique what is just supposed to be "natural traits of the character". Not saying this is the case with Rex, but not being able to critique aspects of a character because "that's how they are meant to be" is not how it works. If it fucks stuff up, and not in a good way, everything is open for critique.
The theory that he would go back and kill the Viltrumites is fun and all but there's one Viltrumite you never wanna fuck with... I'll leave that there though lol
@Oppai-sama the difference between that those creatures are not high thinking beings they can't speak out languages and they don't wear clothes but yeah I see what you mean
@@sono8880 funny thing about you thinking they're not high thinking beings just shows you'd very much think like viltrumites in this situation. Dolphins, elephants and many other creatures are very "high thinking" animals. Just because they haven't developed civilizations and technology the way we have doesn't mean anything. The only reason humans have what we have now is our physiology honestly. Omni man is an alien from a species so scientifically advanced were seen as cave men, a basic species. Especially considering their own physical attributes.
When nolan said debbie is like a pet to him its because they're not the same species and because he'll outlive her by many many years but he does love her in a way because he learned to be somewhat human.. its just he was a viltrumite with no room for those human traits because he was raised as a viltrumite and loyal to viltrum but got lost along the way in his duty but still has more of viltrumite ideologies/characteristics because he still has responsibilities and if he doesnt succeed he can be killed for showing hes weak and his weak spot is debbie and mark which is why he abandoned his duty in the end because he cant be the one to kill those 2 after ruining the life he created with them.
Re: Taking Over Nolan mentioned that their conquest had slowed down because they were so spread out, and trusted officers were sent out to weaken planets (because the default is NOT to do what he did to the Flaxans). So he came to Earth to scope it out and get influence and weaken resistance... but he met Debbie, who taught him how to be a hero & connect in a human way. And I think he planned to take his time a bit, enjoy being Nolan Grayson, and wait to see if he had to bring the hammer down until his wife & kid weren’t around to see. Mark getting powers meant there was no longer a legit reason to put things off, and he needed to get Mark on board ASAP.
I dunno how anyone would write it in but imagine if earth got to watch that beat down. Imagine people begging their phones/TV's for Mark to run away or something.
Although Mark might have named himself **Cues title card** "Invincible" because his dad gave him the impression of his Viltrumite physicality, (although he sure can take a beating) non-comic readers will eventually find out that "Invincible" describes more than just only his superpowers but it also perfectly describes his invincible willpower and resolve. He was beaten half to death by Omni-Man and Mark still stood up to him till the very end and still called him Dad.
Yeah that's the real thing ain't it? Mark's will is what's really invincible, so invincible even his dad's hundreds of years of living in Viltrumite society & living by their principals cracked before Mark's will
Mark may not physically be Invincible but the man's got an Invincible willpower. I think that's what's kind of great about his hero name, everybody expects it to be a play on the fact that he's like invulnerable, when in reality he's just got like a super strong sense of willpower and stuff.
In the comic they followed the fight over the earpiece Cecil had given him, if I remember correctly, not cameras. (It's been a long time since I read it so I might be foggy on that though)
Amber literally only gives mark a second chance when he gets hurt. Like other than that there's no circumstance where he gets a second chance unless he's severely injured. Idk if y'all noticed that or not lmao
Omni-Man is over 2,000 years old. Viltrumites get stronger with conflict and age. Because Viltrumite DNA is so dominant, Mark is literally 99% Viltrumite and only 1% Human. Eventually, he'll have the same powers levels as any Viltrumite, but, for right now, he just doesn't have enough age and experience to beat his father. ADorkable is correct. Omni-Man is NOT the strongest Viltrumite. Nasty is correct. If Mark never got powers, Omni-Man would have waited until both Mark and Debbie had aged and died of natural causes before ultimately giving the Earth to Viltrum. Yaboy is WRONG with what he said about Viltrumites and ********. I can't reveal more without spoilers.
Agree, Nolan was definitely trying to convince himself too. Our humanity infected him. Between that & Mark's willpower it defeated Nolan, for now anyway.
You gotta remember too guys emotions like love and sadness must be so completely foreign to him, remember the viltrumites believe in the strongest must survive so it's rational to think his ability to feel pity, sadness, remorse and overall have a conscience is non existent...so that's why when mark said "I'd have you dad." You saw him bottle up his feeling and fly away instead of dealing with it and talking to mark.
I see a lot of people say that they think Nolan purposefully punched Mark into a populated area, but that _is_ exactly what Nolan meant. When he says "let's see how you handle this," he's not referring to the big punch, he's saying "oh you didn't like seeing that guy die? Let's see if you like seeing hundreds of people die 🙂"
Great reaction... keep it up! Love it! Mark's reply triggered Omni-man's internal conflict... love over duty. You nailed it.. love is the viltrimites weakness. Well.. one of them. Wink!
Wow, ya'll are more emotional about the teen romance than the catastrophic loss of life we just witnessed, lol. Honestly, don't stress too hard over Mark/Amber/Eve, it all works out for the best in the long run.
I've seen people be so pressed over Amber both ways, no matter whether you think she was in the right or she was being unreasonable that whole thing is like, petty drama through and through
@@jadaw644 sure, the romantic subplot serves the purpose of humanizing the characters, but idk after THAT episode, there was way more compelling drama going on than Amber wanting to get back with Mark. I don't understand the extreme reactions to Amber, like at this point the relationship is pretty new so it doesn't feel high stakes enough for me to be super pressed about, and I think her decisions of have either relatable. People act like she kicked a baby or something, lol.
This whole episode is like Omi Man is talking to himself . Thats why he started killing so many people he was trying to alienate himself from human’s . He’s basically been one for 18 years he even has feelings . Which he for sure did not have when he first came to earth .
Nolan **left**. That doesn't happen. If he was going to leave and come back or if he was going to leave and stay gone, that doesn't happen. Viltrumites do NOT abandon their post. They accomplish the mission or they die because they're weak and they get replaced.
Mark and Eve are endgame. Also, Eve's powers don't affect humans. She can't transmute the atomic structure of humans or animals. Mark was right to continue to empathize with Omni Man. It was a Vader Luke situation. Appealing to the humanity within because Mark cannot defeat him by force.
"Some people treat their dogs better than humans fam."... True, but even then most people dont treat them as equals or species of the same level as humans. The idea of seeing something as a pet automatically means they are not your equal. To Omniman humans are no different than stepping on ants or squishing a mosquito
Imagine if you are a USA soldier going to war with Russia, You lived in USA for 40 years. Loyal to the USA since birth, then you go to Russia and with in 1 month you become loyal to Russia instead? That is same analogy with omni man. His sense of time is very different to us. 18 years to him is like a month to us.
I hadn't put together that Nolan was waiting for Debbie and Mark to die so that he could go through with the takeover and that was why he was upset that Mark turned out to be a viltrumite. It makes that much more sense why he put the plan into action when he did: he wanted to try and eliminate any threats and get Mark on his side before Mark got too powerful to stop him.
I'm with Director Nasty, I was so heated when Amber rocked up and just kissed him. I can appreciate that she wants to help him, that's fine. Her showing up? Also fine. But kissing him and thereby implicitly trying to get the relationship back off the ground? And doing so WITHOUT addressing how she handled him not telling her about being a superhero? That just leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth. There has to be words about that. She did not handle that with anything approaching tact or goodwill. Imagine getting mad at your boyfriend for running off-screen so he can put on his costume to come back and save you. I am 100% Team Eve at this point. Hell, I'd rather Mark finds his bi side and gets with his bestie. I need to stop wasting mental energy on the relationship dynamics of fictional teenagers. I've got bills to pay dammit.
damn yall brought up good points i didn't even realize and no one else brought up with the teeth being memory catalyst and mark getting his powers being the catalyst and that he might've just waited till debbie died naturally.
16:10 calling a Viltrumite an Abuser is a massive understatement....maybe even a compliment in comparison to the messed up shit they are known for in the comics.
I feel invincible is about humanity, most villains are only villains when they forget their humanity. (The comics even more so) I need to expand this, I mean most villains are doing what they see as good or right, but have lost their humanity in terms of no longer seeing other humans as people, even if they are trying to do good, like Nolan said we don't save people, we saves millions. (No longer seeing that every person is of importance and therefore accepting or being ok with them dying). D.A Sinclair wants to help humanity, but he forgets that other people have their own wishes and idea of what's best for them. Doc siesmic probably has brain damage from his gloves, but he ain't entirely wrong (minus the whole murdering random people even though he wants to act like he is better then the president's cause he isn't racist or a slave owner). There are many future villains who were not or are not bad people, but become bad through attempting to do what they see as good. (Even Cecil is a good example of this, doing bad to hopefully do good, though in the show it seems he still has his humanity, he just accepts that he must supress it to do what needs to be done)
I love your intro to this video. Most of the reactions I saw had the train scene reaction as their intro, but you guys reacted to Amber appears scene. And I absolutely reacted the same way as the guy on the right (sorry I don't know your names yet). You got yourself a new subscriber just from that intro alone.
"I'm surprised Mark doesn't look worse, remember battle beast" I kind of chuckled as I watched your reaction just imagining what your reactions would be like in a few minutes lol.
The son thing was a part of the plan... he says "I can start over. Have another kid" That proves it was a part of the plan. But yes if Mark didn't get powers he probably would have just chilled.
Watched the episode with 2 friends. One of them basically said that if anyone told him the water thing irl he'd just stop drinking water regardless of consequence especially since that's probably what they used for those invisible suits the soldiers had.
The Viltrumites you saw were Lucan, the black Viltrumite, Grand Regent Thragg in the pile of bodies just knocked out Thula, the blade warrior General Kregg, and Conquest, the Viltrumite, yall called Thanos. CONQUEST ONE OF THE STRONGEST VILTRUMITES EVER SENT EARTH HE IS SECOND ONLY TO GRAND REGENT THRAGG.
Omni-Man came to Earth twenty years ago, saved Debbie and tried to get her to fall for him but it didnt work at first until after Debbie saw him saving a group of kids. Three years after that, they had Mark. I have big doubts Omni-Man hooked up with any other women besides Debbie, on Earth that is.
Nolan is a soldier.....His mission was to weaken and take control of earth but instead of that he left half way of the progress..... He abandon his mission, meaning that he is weak to his people perspective. So if he goes back home he may get executed.
Hindsight is 20/20 but a way to fix this Amber situation would have been to have let us know that she knew in episode 5 when Eve got the phone call. Episode 6 put her in danger by having Sinclair capture her as well as William, and then have her break up with him because of the danger she was in. It keeps in line with all the characters, the breakup would feel natural and the reasons behind it Mark then questions if he's cut out to be a superhero, so he goes and finds Eve because she's been through something similar and we still get the tension of Omni Man racing to get to Mark.
Eve doesn't have to make Mark fully human or become a Viltrumite. When killed, she resurrects and regenerates. When she dies of old age, she resurrects and de-ages to her prime. With the exception of having to die first, she's effectively immortal. Some deaths may be undeniable, but she will never permanently die otherwise.
Okay Mark is one of my top three favorite characters all time on this show. Hes able to take a savage beating like this and other episodes hes one tough man.
Mark took an ass whoopin but he finally got his Talk no Jutsu to go through. I will say that you guys had a lot of theories at the end lol but one was phase 4 heat! As far as Amber goes, yeah they tried to make us dislike her because she was becoming a fan favorite, simple as that. Mark actually put her through it the entire time they were together which they didn't show here but had a little dialogue on. So she just seemed like she blew up for no reason in the show. Also don't forget the Mark is only 17. Can you imagine going from eating breakfast pizza at school to getting beat on by the most powerful people in the galaxy?
I've seen a lot of reaction videos and this is the first time i've seen reactors completely shocked and repeating "oh my god" for 20 minutes. Goes to show how great this series is and can't wait for Season 2.
He is not invincible physically, he is unbroken mentally. He will stay true to himself no matter how many punches, kicks, bruises, broken bones, blood lost, scars, inner bleeding, the whole package. He won’t give up.
it hasn't been explained in the show yet, but there's a limiter on eve's powers so she can't affect living creatures. She couldn't kill Omni-man directly, but if she knew of something that could poison a viltrumite, she could convert the air they breathe into that chemical or something. However, the show established earlier that even the GDA can't find any kind of toxin/poison that can affect Viltrumites, so as things are right now, Eve doesn't stand a chance.

Nolan's fucked then.
@@R1mTVch yes he is

I was thinking the same thing. After watching this episode i was thinking that this whole time if he wanted to he couldve taken over earth the minute he set foot in it. And that hed have to report all of his progress from time to time. So i was thinking if they know that hes been taking this long to conquer earth (knowing hes one of their elite soldiers they specifically chose for this kind if mission) if he goes back to viltrum hes instantly dead. The longest living common pets make it to about 20 years that's a fifth of the average human lifespan. above Average human makes it to 100 Viltrimites live tens of thousands of years Debbie's time with Nolan has been a fifth of 1% of Nolan's possible lifespan.
We would be a insect to them

What? No he's not!
Does this apply to a half-Viltrimite like Mark?

And even if she could omni man is just too fast for her
not to mention if she was that broken she couldve wiped that whole alien army
So about that
There was this special that came out some days ago
And it was in her past
And she could definitely mess with living things.

Forreal it’s all I been obsessed with since I watched it. I keep watching people’s reactions and looking up the comic books all day lol

@@joelsasmad that's not what theyre talking about
@@PaintedHoundie What does he mean then?

Re: Taking Over
Nolan mentioned that their conquest had slowed down because they were so spread out, and trusted officers were sent out to weaken planets (because the default is NOT to do what he did to the Flaxans).

No cameras outside of the GDA could keep up with that fight.

Amber literally only gives mark a second chance when he gets hurt. Like other than that there's no circumstance where he gets a second chance unless he's severely injured. Idk if y'all noticed that or not lmao
Mark just got 17 years of abuse in like 5 minutes

18 years to him is like a month to us.
right
I hadn't put together that Nolan was waiting for Debbie and Mark to die so that he could go through with the takeover and that was why he was upset that Mark turned out to be a viltrumite.

Lol, look like the man was just trying to convince himself, not Mark ....
Amber: exists
Everyone: "and I took that personally"
I feel invincible is about humanity, most villains are only villains when they forget their humanity. (The comics even more so)
I need to expand this, I mean most villains are doing what they see as good or right, but have lost their humanity in terms of no longer seeing other humans as people, even if they are trying to do good, like Nolan said we don't save people, we saves millions.

Lol, Amber thought Eve was _Dupli-Kate._
One Viltrumite did all of that damage and wasn't even trying, imagine the damage a dozen determined Viltrumites could inflict
I mean there is a Reason why Viltrumites only send one Person per Planet.
And even that is pretty much Overkill

Okay Mark is one of my top three favorite characters all time on this show. Hes able to take a savage beating like this and other episodes hes one tough man.

Ma man! I'm looking forward to this 😌
He is not invincible physically, he is unbroken mentally.
