Many of the commonly shared footage of Jordan is from his final 3-peat, and not showcasing his full potential, nor his prime. I am spending hours extracting his rarest footage from my video collection dating from 1985 to 1998.
I don't think there's ever been anyone better at finishing in traffic. A ton of this has to do with his length, explosiveness, strength, hand size, and touch, but it's also his perspective and creativity. Where other players saw a wall Jordan saw opportunity.
I watched Kobe Bryant last night and I admit he is explosive, quick, and very sensational he might be one of the best shooters but MJ is a straight scorer move like water and have the artistic up and under the announcer said some people are strong and some people have speed but his artistic level is second to none also he didn't shoot a bunch of three's he said it mess up his rhythm and his unstoppable fluid game the man was about simplicity period he not only the goat he is ahead of his time

Yeah a lot of players today over dribble just to look good on TV. Too much effort and energy for 2 or 3 points. They could've used those wasted energy on defense

Hooowever… when you see these clips, with MJ’s moves, and how many of them you see turned into DUNKS… in an era where guys could hand-check you and* there were giant rim-protectors who could camp out underneath the basket, and you’ve got a guy just DOMINATING like this? Nah… sorry… Kyrie is great, but he’s not pulling off some of these plays, and he’s sure as hell not slamming DUNKS on dudes’ heads. Do you guys see that all these angles is MJ just extending the ball to see what the defense will do and then deciding how to counter after. Meaning, there's no right way to defend a guy who is still going up and deciding while you start to go downward. Kyrie does the same thing, except he's 6'2, else he'd be MJ (offensively, at least). That's not just skill and athletic ability and body control, but a guy who thinks faster than you, too.
