      I'm trying to bring what I felt I wanted to find in the way of info when I started into HO scale.
      But being an 1:24 racer, and looking for that type of car feel, the magnets and silicone tyres were never going to fill that void. Everything I do focuses on what works for my slant on what I like.

      @@murdervalleyraceway I know exactly what you mean! Remove them magnets, put weight in instead and keep the sillies.
      Being a 1:24 racer myself that's what I like on a Xtraction for example!

    Would allowing polymer motor magnets on the old magnatraction chassis balance the performance with the newer Xtraction cars? The older cars may handle better but not be quite as fast in the straights. I may need to test it out.

      As I'm trying to build a competitive racing class out of these, mixing and matching parts is difficult to manage. Then there's the issue for me, that being in Australia, buying upgraded parts most often comes with US postage on top.
      To keep racers interested, cost limits are a major factor.
