Very good review... especially with all the detailed pop-up boxes and comparisons, great additional info... After watching, I feel like I have my arms wrapped around the vehicle, know it cold!
I bought a new 2025 HRV EX-L at the end of August and upon inspection of the vehicle, I found a defect in the hood. During stamping, there is a bulge left on either the right side or left side of the hood. I pointed this out and my dealership offered to replace the hood. At the moment, I am looking at other options to doing this. I spoke with the general manager and he's looking for another HRV EX-L in the color I have and he offered to swap my car out. Pending a response back. If you buy one of these, inspect the hood very carefully for the defect. This will be located near the front of the hood as it slopes down and near one of the raised lines. The dealers know about this, but are not telling the customers. Every HRV that I looked at on the lot has this issue. Other then that, pretty awesome car over the first gen.
Holy hell this is an amazing review!!! Just because it’s so good i feel like I can nitpick; cargo area instead of the standard cubic feet. What about opening width in inches or the length in inches of the cargo depth or with the rear seats down? So much easier to quantify than cubic feet that manufacturers use.
Keep these videos popping You give energy and love the stats and comparisons that you pop on the screen Just tried watching another video on the 2025 HR-V Ex and it was boring as hell!!!! One thing I really really wanted was to see the lighter interior leather because that is what I am deciding right now. Honda is telling me they can’t find the blue color with light interior and only black and I’m not sure I want that If I am paying top dollar for the EX model I want what I want! Next time please show interior options and just do a quick 20 second flash or so of the other option for that and maybe flip through colors exterior wise as well. Good job hun!!!!!
It is very roomy inside. I am 6’8 330 and my son is 6’6 and we both fit in it. He can fit in the backseat. We bought this for my wife as her new commuter her 12 to 14 mile per gallon jeep Wrangler wasn’t cutting it anymore for commuting it’s now just our play toy.
This was really helpful since there's no air vents in the back does is the car cool enough or gets cool fast enough to cool people off that's in the back because it sounds like a good a big drawback with this car elastic cools the whole car really fast from the front air vents
My gripes with my HRV are the cup holders are too shallow to be over that hump behind the shifter and they are not well lit. My fuel mileage exceeds the rated and I average 33 MPG in normal mode, Eco mode gives me less for some reason. I drive hilly terrain. The tech for a vehicle that claims to be tech oriented is not that great no power point in the front other than a USB A and two C ports. 12V power point is all the way in the hatch.
This is just a bad vehicle. Honda really dropped the ball. It's under-powered (read lethargic) AND it has poor fuel economy?!?!? I just don't understand what Honda was thinking when they re-designed it.
The popup windows with the vehicle comparison to other models in its class really sets your videos apart. Keep up the good work.
It is very helpful.
This guy is my new “go to” auto reviewer
Much appreciated 👍

Great review and sales pitch! I'm looking for a new car.
What do they mean by ambient lighting exactly? Is it the lighting under the center cubby hole or?
Justin what’s a good price to pay for one any deals lower than MSRP you think? 😊
Great vid! So it's the same as the 2024 EXL?
😂
Good machine… U own me the test drive…
If this goes hybrid, it will be a no-brainer. Or the Corolla Cross hybrid.
I would love to see a hybrid option for the HRV!

I wish the Nissan Kicks was compared in this. I’m tied between getting the new Kicks or a new HRV

I have the 2024 sport , the 9” screen is sooo much better then the sport
Makes me sad watching this lol

A Japanese car that’s made in Mexico 🤔. Always looking at that Window Sticker People especially where it says Final Assembly.
You compared everything but the price with the competition.
And it’s made in Mexico 🤔.
Nice vehicle inside and out but still underpowered with the base Civic engine.
But it uses the k20c2. That is the gold standard of Honda 4 cylinder NA. Old school = EXTREMELY DURABLE
They took away the magic seats, Bad move. Resale on the HR-V is awful.
H R V E X L
Rather buy a Canadian built civic
