Bought one back in January, same model EXL and same color Nordic Forest. Love how the car can look a different shade of color depending on lighting conditions. One feature they didn’t mentioned is the walk away door lock feature.
The regular gas can nozzles do not need the funnel. It is if you have to use another container to put gas in. The Nordic Forest Pearl is nice, but green is not my color, I wish it was more of a blue. I plan on getting an Urban Grey Pearl Sport.
This is what a virtual demo should be. Very straightforward and informative touching on the salient features. Thanks a lot for this. Keep making videos like this!
I love my HR-V , I don’t have any issues with how it picks up speed , did great in the snow this past winter , etc. A bit petty but I do wish it had a fold down cup arm rest for the back seat and automatic trunk door , but that doesn’t affect the drive.
Did they fix the fuel pump issues they were having? I'm in the process of deciding between this car and the Corolla Cross. Do you know if extended warranty coverage is available after the 36,000 m.and 60,000m ? The 100,000 m warranty on my Sonatas have really come in handy since they replaced my fuel pump on one and replaced the engine on another both around 90,000 m. That's important to me! Problem is they cost more to insure than Honda or Toyota.
I love the design of the HR-V, however, the only drawbacks for this model is the weak engine, producing 158HP, and now it's difficult to match the highway speeds. Another con is that the back rows doesn't even have any aircon vents or charging ports, it's just that empty hole there. Those for me are dealbreakers.
We call it the ZR-V in the UK and its a more premium car over here with heated back seats, 12 speaker bose, 18" diamond cut alloys, full panoramic sunroof, 6" Head up display, matrix style intelligent adaptive beams and gesture controlled power tailgate. Love mine in still night blue!! Oh and it's only available with a 2.0l hybrid with 184ps.
I own a 2022 HR V lx which I am very pleased with. Today, while getting it serviced at my Honda dealer, I was able to examine a 2024 HR V. The new model is a completely different venicle....it is wider, taller, longer, with less rear leg room and NO magic seats. It gets less mpg , apparently is just as slow as the previous model, and costs thousands more. I am glad I bought a 2022....it is, in my mind, superior to the 2024. It's too bad that Honda decided to change the HR V....now they have no models that interest me. I suspect that my next vehicle will be a Toyota. Quelle Domage, Honda! l
The Civic is coming out with Hybrids. Probably the 2.0L with 200 HP. If they replace the HR-V EX-L with a Sport Touring Hybrid, that would be great. If they plan that, it probably won't come out until late next year as a 2026 model.
How WAS the power? I hesitate to even test drive highway because of it. I need to feel safe pass8ng semi's or whatever and get out of the way. Sluggish won't cut it. Great review of everything else, though. Salesman was great, too.
I have this model 24 hrv. It's basic but I get more car for the money. No problems so far since it's 6 months, there better not be. The cvt trans though, like a big rubber band.
As long as you do your maintenance. I’ve had no problems with my 2018 cr -v. I had for over 120,000 miles. Just bought my new 2024 crv. If you don’t drive it till it has problems!🤪
8:12 if that isn’t the cheap way out for Honda to not provide Sirius or HD radio. The radio barely picks up FM and you have to be in perfect cellular coverage to use Sirius. I prefer having the antenna for uninterrupted service with Sirius. The only upside is you get the extra channels since even in the top trims Honda has Sirius they don’t offer 360L like VW and other brands that give you those extra channels. Also the lack of HD radio really hurts the FM as it cannot play clearly and always lives in poor static or nothing. My CR-V cannot pick up local channels on FM and when I enter Pittsburgh I get no channels still even there. Honda should know better than to not at least offer it as an option along with the better looking sized 9 in screen but instead offers the smallest infotainment screen in the industry with the 7in that can’t even work right. 😢
Anyone having issues with windshield cracks that rapidly spread? Gotta be from minimal impact because I never witness the object hit, I just get in my car and there’s a crack and within 12 hours it’s doubled in size. Replace one windshield that had 2 cracks, one with that took place inside of 24hrs of driving off the lot. About to replace a 2nd windshield and only had the vehicle 4 months.
The only thing bad about HRV is the slow CVT gear box other than that its not a bad car for the money.i have one now for 5 years and no problems so far,I keep the maintenance up to date.i wish I can get a different gear box 😂 ,!!!!
FAILED TO MENTION THIS!: 2024-2025 HRV have a Recall Notice for faulty EPS (Electronic Powersteering Sytem), which could lead to serious injury while driving. Yes, I received my recall notice a month after my purchase (September 2024) of a brand new 2025 Sport HRV, SO BUYERS BEWARE! I also suspect, that the dealership was aware, because it was through them I learned of the recall notice but not after my purchase. My car has been scheduled for repair in 2025 after another Honda dealership gets the parts necessary. As for its performance: it's comfortable, has plenty of power with that lame CVT (no, its not a CRV), and my best MPG is a documented 41 MPG of mixed driving. What I do not like, is awkwardly mounted LED screen, and cheap vinyl interior.
Poor engine for a car it’s size and that forces the car to sacrifice fuel economy. Making it one of the worst in its class for fuel economy. Lacking in technology and features and the worst seats in a car. Honda overall has the worst seats. Always pain in my back when driving in my Honda. For the HR-V price I would expect either great fuel economy, ability to drive in town and on the highway and have features yet Honda stripped it down to nothing. The safety features are okay but the braking system is a danger to the driver. My CR-V has stopped with nothing in front of it on the interstate because the camera saw someone getting off the interstate to the side of me or if I come up on the side of another car it will brake or hard brake. It’s insane how bad it is compared to the first gen of that safety feature. The interior is poorly thought out and that long dash look causes you to lose a place to put your device if you use a clip or holder and it gets extremely dirty and it’s impossible to clean. The heated seats are awful in the new Hondas as they don’t heat the seat but just one spot. The infotainment system is awful and the open source software is crashing and causing so many issues in my car causing it to not work and I cannot get a dealership to even look at it and diagnose the issues because Honda states they can’t replace it due to no parts and they don’t have software updates to fix it or enhance and update it. I am currently trying to leave the CR-V lease for a different vehicle and Honda dealers have been terrible to work with in doing so.
The car is very sluggish, combination of weak engine and CVT transmission. Lights have only auto mode with the same sensor for lights, display and panel. It's impossible to change brightness during the driving. There is no 12V socket at the front. They placed collision sensor above the mirror. The mirror position is too low. You are buying a car, not a computer, but you have to pay extra for unnecessary electronic bullshit.

Loved the comprehensive explanation of each program….others talk so fast u can’t understand them

I really appreciate the safety features demonstration. Great review. Thanks! 👍

I just got mine I’m cool with the k20
My other car is 80hp ae86
If you want a fast car go buy a type r or mk5 Supra
We get both on ours in the UK. 2x usb-c and vents in the back as well as heated back seats.

I'm considering the Corolla Cross vs this vehicle. The Corolla Cross's don't seem to have much leg room at all in the back seats.
The rear leg room is pretty decent on the 2024. I'm 6'1" and I can sit behind myself without any problems.
I think this is the best looking car on the road. Wish it had more good color choices and hybrid options.
Great review. Would only consider it if it had a hybrid option.

Will these be available in a hybrid middle 😊

Salesman was great,too.
The power is sufficient, but the acceleration is considered slow by many. There are two aftermarket options that may address that.
Excelente mañana me llega el mio la misma versión, color 🎉

Does that engine have a timing belt or chain
I actually just leased an ex L one and honestly the only missing is more power. I have no regrets
Does it have a/c in the back seats area?
Too much coins for a CVT, Honda put a 6 or 8 speed automatic.......
Not going to happen. It seems the Civic will no longer have the manual except for the Si and Type R for 2025. Plus, they are adding hybrid options.
Not a CVT😂

cute car needs another 40 hp. Engine works too hard all day keeping up with the other animals in the zoo

'makes it very easy to see at night '' -- yeah for you and not your fellow drivers. LED's cause more accidents.
Loved the looks..wanted to purchase but those seats are so hard/uncomfortable! Had to pass.
Great car engine one of the better engines. Should last well over 200000 miles
Hope they fixed that horrible CVT transmission, mine completely failed at 50K miles.
I would buy this is the one 😂
No rear armrest and air vent things that matter,
I felt in love with Subaru when when it come in the video at the minute of 11 30 which is Crosstrek is a better car than this one unfortunately

I would not buy this vehicle new because the resale is awful.
Overpriced, front grill COPY of Ford, very poor MPG for weight and engine
that's this car have remote starting ?
