- "We Care a Lot" is a song by Faith No More. There are three versions of the song (including a Mike Patton era 'Live' version), all of which have been officially released over three different albums. The lyrics of this song are a sarcastic parody of "the popstar posing that accompanied those [Live Aid style] charitable events" and mentions a range of things about which the band sarcastically claims 'we care a lot', such as the LAPD, the "food that Live Aid bought", the Garbage Pail Kids and even The Transformers.
"We Care A Lot" [lyrics]
We care a lot about disasters, fires, floods and killer bees
We care a lot about the NASA shuttle falling in the sea
We care a lot about starvation and the food that Live Aid bought
We care a lot about disease, baby Rock, Hudson, rock, yeah!
We care a lot about the gamblers and the pushers and the geeks
We care a lot about the crack and smack and whack that hits the street
We care a lot about the welfare of all the boys and girls
We care a lot about you people cause we're out to save the world
YEAH!
And it's a dirty job but someone's gotta do it
We care a lot about the army navy air force and marines
We care a lot about the SF, NY and LAPD
We care a lot about you people, about your guns
about the wars you're fighting gee that looks like fun
We care a lot about the Garbage Pail Kids, they never lie
We care a lot about Transformers cause there's more than meets the eye
We care a lot about the little things, the bigger things we top
We care a lot about you people yeah you bet we care a lot,
YEAH!
Well, its a dirty job but someone's gotta do it
And it's a dirty song but someone's gotta sing it
It’s nice to see Billy Gould still slapping the hell out of his bass. Dude’s an amazing player.
And Puffy beating those drum heads like he's trying to kill 'em.
Incredibile rhythm section
His bass back in the day MADE this song 🎵. Love him AND the drummer. He's great as well.
he is the heart of the band
As different as Chuck, and Mike are, both were amazing fits for FNM.
RIP Chuck Mosley
RIP decent vocal chops this shit is terrible
@@dakotajensen181 ohhhh yawwwnnnnn go and bore someone else dipshit
@@dakotajensen181 fuck off loser
I didn't know that he died.
@@dakotajensen181 Mike Patton is an objectively good singer
Got say, what a wild stage production for a rock metal band. Not too many bands that could pull off all white outfits, all white stage, and floral arrangements.
RIP Chuck Mosley and keep kickin' it FTM!
these guys really care a lot
And today's music worth a slut...
lmao right
been caring for decades
It was actually the original singer chuck that cared 😆. Mike Patton this singer is much better. When it comes to range the guys a beast.
Chuck's legacy lives on
The bass slaps hard in this one.
Mike Bordin is poundin those skins !! He is my 2nd favorite drummer, Bill Ward being my 1st (No disrespect to Mike).
This song is my favorite Faith No More song !!
Mike Bordin, sure do wish you were back with Ozzy playin drums !! No disrespect to the guys in Faith No More .
They’ve still got it.
I was there! It was amazing!!
Vocal rage ❤️
One of the greatest Hard Rock/Metal songs ever written
We still fuckin care since 30 years...even its a fuckin dirty job... you are LEGEND dudes
In the eyes and ears of the performers.
Love mike....30 years. Unbelievable. 🤔😍 Easy (to) Care a lot in (my) midlife crisis ....
no me acordaba de este temaso, hasta que lo volvi a escuchar en la pelicula guardianes de la galaxia 3
On this episode of dirty jobs....
Is it just me, or has Billy not aged at all? And Puffy's gone grey, but otherwise looks the same. (Meanwhile I seem to have aged 50 years since the '90s).
Os caras são foda!!!!!! 🙌🏻
I was there
Late comment here...Thats awesome.
Also, watching this makes me realize how quickly time flys by and how the 80s seems like yesterday. We're getting old.
Hope they can tour next year ⚡️
cool nature stage set up😁
Wtf?!! 2:42! Is someone on a zip line?! How is that working out amongst all of those people?!
It's rock in rio. There's even a rollercoaster
Live at the Brixton Academy is the best version.
Oh oh oh oh 🤘
Mislim da da se na 3.04 može osjetiti Mikeova emocija za Chucka. Mrvica ali mislim da je autentična. Počivao u miru 😢
Спасибо что в Россию заехали, другие нас тут не балуют!
Brilliant!
Wow these Mormons like to rock out!!
Chamaaa 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Yeah I’ve listened to this a lot of times by fnm and korn , with this background this performance could have been amazing . Not being a hater but it seems like he doesn’t care by the way he’s singing . At least it isn’t my style
looks like they are playing on someone's wedding :D
i think they did that to be ironic
I love guys
we care alot
Hi, I’m Mike Rowe. And this is my job.

Making sure I put some flowers in the mix eeee xoxo 😘 K
I love the white and flowers church like and anti dark trend
THE BASS, Y'ALL.
Did you not hear that sounds like hes speaking a different language. I just cant make out the words.Sounds like German.
I always think of Dirty Jobs when I hear this song!
I care a lot!
Chuck Mosley FOREVER! Mike Patton SUX !
On this song anyway, his tone and delivery is all wrong on this track.
where's Mike Rowe
If we love you, we INTJs care a lot.
Is this at pdiddys white only party? Lol
Who this?
I like stuff
About Kale that Never Dies
Singing like that takes a ton of skill, but I do feel like it would've sounded a lot better if Mike had just sung it normally rather than doing all the weird vocal tricks that he did. Obviously it's skilled, but I personally don't think it sounded that good.
Sometimes Patton's intent isn't the beauty of a pure voice
It sounds like Mike is affecting a Portuguese accent! He is in Rio ya know 😀😀
Patton sometimes oversings stuff. I have never loved him live, but he is my favorite studio singer of all times.
Yeah,I definitely know how amazing Mike is vocally. But live, he's not always what I want to hear. And chuck wouldve performed the vocals to this perfect.
WOooooooooooooo Itsssss A dirty Job buts someonesss gotta doooo ittttttttttttt
I care about this group!
Do you care a lot about this group?
LIKOS
Why does the stage look like it's someone's wedding?
That was tight. Not like the old days which was a bit of a mixed bag…
lol what????
Mike Sounds weird singing this song
You mean ...opening your eyes and not seeing your dad? Mike..he could be...he is fine
I wish Mike Patton would have just sang it, in his normal way of singing. His voice and normal way of singing, like in "Epic" is very similar to Chuck Mosley's in this song. I don't know how Chuck Mosley sounds in other songs, but in this one, he sounds good. This is weird, and the whole thing seems too polished. I like that raw sound that the original, or even the version on the second album has.
@@RayfordRaySiegel too
@@lukess.s,
Thanks. I can't believe I did that. It was probably predict text. It likes to change my words, a lot. I fixed it.
Which is a nice way to say, he sucks singing it on that day!
I miss the dj parts
We care a lot
(to hair loss...)
Love this version. Mike Patton kind of sounds like Count Chocula.
Lol that’s awesome
Brasil .mostra tua cara!!!!!
???
I don't care a lot about this version, Mike is one of the best vocalists but there's only one person that could sing this song, and that was Chuck..
No, he can sing it just fine
Stephen Dedalus well obviously he just doesn’t sing it well, as he is doing his dumbass vocal tricks, which are kind of impressive, but sound like shit
Stephen Dedalus and actually, i’m not even going to be nice, and admit that his weird cookie monster sounds aren’t even impressive, and just ruined this specific performance
i agree chuck sings this song better
He could have pulled it off if he wouldn't have tried too hard, and would've just had fun with it, instead of either trying to be serious or pull a Kevin Dubrow, like with "Cum on Feel The Noise" that he hated.
Kevin Dubrow still made that song sound good, even trying not to.
Mosley
Idk why Mike still plays this live. He puts ZERO effort into it at all. With so many songs, play the one you're going to showcase your skillset .
смехотворная пародия на самих себя
He is purposely singing "it's a jerty job but someone's gotta jew it". WTF, Mike?
Patton live is a helluva drug
I don't think that protest songs have more than a two weeks life span before they become boringly passe.
This song is sorta sarcastic and vague so it still works, but whenever they get "holier than thou" preachy thats usually when i check out though.
It's a dirty job, but someone's got to do it
Theu should of brought Chuck in to sing at least this song live since he made the song what it is not that you can't fault Mike for stepping in and doing his best
Love Mike, but this is Chuck all day.
I don't think Mike cares too much for this song.
That sucks, because it's a good parody song, and a good song, period, plus, their voices sound similar, between the original of this and Mike Patton on "Epic".
Mike is way better on this song
This version sucks.
I think Mike is doing a Bane impersonation lol
Sounds like a bunch of guys that, " don't give a fuck " . Sad.
Lmao what
Patton wishes to do the job, but looks ridiculous
It’s a dirty job but someone’s got to do it.
