Faith No More - Live in Santiago, Chile, 1995, Teatro Monumental: Santiago, Chile, September 8, 1995, Monsters Of Rock 95, Mike Patton, Dean Menta, Roddy Bottum, Mike Bordin, Billy Gould
Mike Patton is one of the best vocalists in the business, but it feels like he kinda phones this song in every time. Probably because it's one of the only Chuck Mosely led Faith No More songs that they continued playing live after Mike took over.
That is the mark of a collection of excellent musicians and a well tied band; Patton messed up on the first "We Care A Lot" by singing it too early and the other four improvised perfectly, almost like they were expecting it, and jump straight into the verse parts. Flawless musicianship. And fair play to Patton for putting his hands up and saying it was it was his fault - as it was. It's the hallmark of experienced musicians like Billy, Roddy & Puffy, and Dean who has been professionally trained
Los chilenos tienen calidad de oídos para escuchar buena música, sin en cambio aquí en Perú prefieren la cumbia esa vaina de armonía 10 y agua marina🤮 vergüenza ser peruano
yes, they are. Jim is ridiculously overrated at this point. I appreciate his tenure & what he did but it blows my mind that people still can't get over his ass getting the boot. He wasn' a team player, only wanted to do "metal" and was holding the band back. He wasn't down for any of the crazy experimentation and wasn't even a fan of what is arguably the bands best album, Angel Dust (and his participation on said album is debatable). They put out loads of great music after they booted his ass. He was great when while he lasted but I don't miss him.
Simon Rivas Jim is my favorite Faith no More guitarist,he's a total influence on me on guitar,I play guitar since 2008 and I love Jim's style,in your opinion, who's the best guitarist of Faith no More?
As someone who is a huge fan of Jim Martin, I’m just going to say that’s BS. Jim was a phenomenal player who’s influenced countless bands, but nothing lasts forever. He held the band back by not liking their new sound, and he was given the boot for wanting to stick to their old rap-metal roots rather than continue to experiment. Personally, I think that Jon Hudson (the current guitarist who played on their last two albums) is doing a wonderful job as their guitarist.
Jim was brilliant on Introduce Yourself and there were some great riffs on The Real Thing, but the band's best tracks are arguably from Angel Dust and beyond. And I don't think Jim wrote many of the guitar parts on that album.
Wonder how the singer would do without all the hard drugs running through his system... maybe better... ? For this performance I would want my money back. O fantastico Senor Cocaina
Mike judging by his performances and early interviews I think he had mental issues possible sociopathic behaviors he did and said what he wanted and acting however he felt like he masturbated in front of crowds drank his own piss, and done many werid things and hes in one of the most weirdest bands in the world Mr.bungle.... so yeah hes a force to be wrecken with he has amazing talent but live performances he tends to let his mentality overcome him which gives him a punk attitude some people like it others dont but mike gives no shit what others want or think he performs how he wants too.
The best song to sing a long live even if you don’t know the lyrics. Love it
El mejor inicio de We Care A Lot de todas las versiones en vivo! Grande FNM!!! ImI

Doesn't puffy still come in on the next actual bar he was playing and Roddy just comes in early? I wouldn't say flawless, but they git there.

Faith isn't Faith without the original guitar player

Mike Patton doesn't use drugs
HAHAHA Patton doesn't do drugs. Check him out in recent. It's insane what he can still do with his voice. This is just him having fun.
