That retreat should be investigated!!! She disappeared from THEIR retreat. For them to continue business as usual is disgusting.
Was in their retreat or did she go out of it to go around and see the Bahamas? Or was it an employee there?
It is easy to disappear there. It is an open space like a hotel. Been there for over 30 years and never had an incident .

I'm from the Bahamas...a few years ago my 14 yr old son went on a trip to Belize with his school.... hours after they landed he lost his life and was found at the bottom of a river. I never got a an opportunity to meet with the chaperones until 2 months later... in addition I was told NOT TO COME to his school, and I later learned that parents and his classmates were instructed NOT TO SPEAK to me. I'm sharing this because... even those we hold to a high moral standard...decided to protect themselves despite such a grotesque situation. It was more than a slap in the face... clearly they didn't give 2 F'ks as to what our family was going through. To this day.. I'm appalled at how things were handled... and even more appalled that no one was held accountable for his demise. With that said.. please note that the Bahamas isn't unsafe.. people are just f'kd up. Yes there is crime in the Bahamas like everywhere else. I think that people have a false sense of security when they're in the islands or a place deemed beautiful and peaceful. It's unfortunate that Taylor's family is experiencing this and I pray for their comfort at this time... and that Taylor is found and they get the answers and respect they deserve. When I finally met with my son's chaperone's... according to them.. no one knew anything..and. NO ONE saw what happened to my son. A year later I received a call from the US Embassy in Belize that someone had turned in my son's go pro..........they asked if I wanted it.... (THE FN AUDACITY!!) of course I wanted it... They sent it via regular mail... it took a month for me to receive it... once I watched the recording... the truth was finally revealed...............................they watched my son drown...................................further.............he attempted to get help more than once.........no one extended a hand to save him. In Taylor's case.. I feel like the yoga retreat and those associated requires a full and thorough investigation. However... other people have access to the beach as well and it's tough to figure out who and what occured. I hate these types of situations because people are just straight up dishonest or just tight lipped..and it's unfortunate. As for the family being 'strangely quiet'... personally when my situation occured...I truly didn't have the mental or emotional capacity to speak to anyone I didn't have to. It literally took me 4 years to speak about my son's situation without breaking down. People must understand... you're truly not yourself when you're going through these types of situations. My prayer is that regardless of where we all are.....................situational awareness is your best friend. Don't allow beautiful surroundings to give you a false sense of security.................and sadly ............... TRUST NO ONE (especially when traveling alone). Also PLEASE take self defense classes... consider it a gift to yourself. Blessings to Taylor's family... my heart breaks for you... #muchlove

I think that’s a fearful outlook. My very best vacation as a young adult was alone on a Caribbean island. We have intuition for a reason.
I lived in Bahamas for many years and seldom has problems. I am a single woman and often went solo. There are problems in Nassau like any big city which Nassau is equivalent to. Bahamian people are lovely. Most likely the retreat is owned by foreigners.

I honestly believe everybody in that resort need to be questioned and do a deep dive. Oh, and everyone who checked in before and after her.
I just read their website of the retreat and many of the rooms do not have bathroom facilities and you have to leave your room and go to a bathroom facility. I am wondering if that is a safety issue and something happened to her going to a facility when it was dark out, just a thought. The retreat is so isolated and out at night to use those facilities, I would be scared myself. Nothing has been said whether her belongings were in her room still. Also from their website, the place looks bohemian to me and wonder if there is any security. If there are no roads, anyone stranger not staying there can walk along that beach at night and cause harm. And strange they don’t like the publicity of the missing woman. I get a strange feeling about that place, being isolated, no roads, have to take THEIR Boat to get there and they don’t want it states in their website, customers going into Nassau from the retreat. Odd too. Looks like a cult.
.....did you bother to consider they have cameras outside the bathroom. Your theory is invalid
You said it all! It’s unacceptable to expect guests to use the outhouses at night. It all sounds so “free & mellow & isolated & above the fray”. I’m adding “unsafe”. And they’re shutting up so the publicity doesn’t affect their bottom line. Someone rakes in lotsa coconuts from that place.

True….why would she go in the ocean with her phone. Since people don’t usually take the phone in the water to swim with it…..it was either thrown in or she was on a boat with it and if someone abducted her they could have carried her off on a boat. Of course there’s always the possibility she walked out into the water just to get a picture….and somehow drowned or got bit by a shark or something. What’s even more odd is that no one at that yoga place saw or heard anything and act like they have no clue what’s going on around them…..or they are in on it….you never know.
The odds of a phone “pinging” under salt water is almost ZERO. Maybe right at the surface. But those particular frequencies are not going to penetrate salt water. There are few surfaces that reflect radio frequencies that high as well as salt water. She was either in the water at the surface or on a boat. Boats would be great for kidnapping a person in that area.
She was murdered and someone threw the phone in the ocean.
Maybe they had issues.
Jet ski guys come by the beach and offer to rent them and take people for rides. An example of how her phone could have fallen off when she was riding on a jet ski. Or she was taking a ride and went on a boat . She wouldn’t swim with it but jet ski with it . Definitely .
I stayed at the Sivananda retreat space for a week one time. Loved it, but there were definitely some sketchy people there who were basically drifter-types who stayed on the grounds for free in exchange for doing some work. One of those guys was trying to pick me up when I was eating lunch near the beach…
I wouldnt go anywhere out of the country, too many things happening. Prayers for her return and family 🙏♥️
People taking aim at an entire country that is looking for Taylor LGB(T)QIA and not at the Ashram retreat on an island that's off of another island, that's off of the mainland. That isn't owned nor operated by locals. And those people are refusing to talk or assist with the investigation. They have or don't want to share camera/surveillance footage. Investigate the ashram, the workers, the other clients. They know something and keeping quiet, until they take their next private flight out of the country.
God forbid reporters and investigators should disrupt the ashram. They should have immediately shut down operations for a full investigation. Surely they value human life.

Everyone at resort should have been interviewed. Anyone who left around the time this lady went missing needs to be tracked down and interviewed. Taylor's movements need to be retraced (using phone data).
As for those who are "not happy" about folks looking for Taylor, and feel their "vibe" is being interrupted - maybe they need to rethink their empathy and status as a human. I wonder how their attitudes would change if it was their family member that was missing and no one at the facility gave a toss. Just my 2 cents.
The beautiful person who loved life and went to this Yoga retreat to gain knowledge and bring it back to her clients was obviously snatched up by an evil person or persons. And the lack of investigation from the Bahamian government and the retreat speak volumes. As a tourist who has visited the Bahamas numerous times in the past, my advise is to stay out of countries and territories that only care about $$$$.
Wth? Did you not watch the video? The Bahamian police has an ACTIVE investigation going on where they’re using multiple resources. The retreat however, is a different story and those people there are not even Bahamians.
The Bahamian people are some of the nicest people I have met in the world and I travel a lot.
These day you have to travel in a group, more than two, I’d say at least five, and never leave each other alone. I don't understand why people think is safe to go to the Bahamas.
It very safe in The Bahanas!

Ever wonder why the US doesn’t issue travel advisories for Chicago, Atlanta, Oakland, all of Florida, and all the other crime filled destinations here? There’s more crime in most places here than you’ll ever encounter in the Bahamas.
I lived there for many years and had few problems. It is beautiful there and bahamian people are lovely. This resort was most likely owned by foreigners
