The most important thing for our leaders is not just to show support for Ukraine but to show strength and resolve in that support by insisting on victory. This can only be achieved by not handicapping Ukraine. If leaders show reluctance, hesitance or ambivalence that is born of fear then it conveys the cause is not righteous. But the cause is righteous as it is essential. They are us. The coming US election in 51 days has a constraining influence on these matters but starting in 52 days from now that support for Ukraine must become far more forceful. While we probably don’t want to see Russia collapse the reign of Putin MUST end.

    Concerning the conceptional issue:
Already right in the beginning of the war in 2022 the wording went wrong.
Why do we call it "The Ucrainian war"??. It is not the Ukrainians war! It is PUTINS war!
Why don't we not name the war after the agressor? So that Putin is mentioned every time when there is talking about his war? So that we always realise who the ennemy is.
I'm convinced that the the right wording - talking about Putins war - would have lead to other, better decisions right away!
Lets start name the war in the rigt way, please!

As always, my scattered scattered mind, struggling for coming up on three years, is summarized by the MOST honorable Prof. Snyder in 3 minutes, beginning at 12:10
"What has been the reason for the timidity?"
I hope his elimination of my soul ripping cognitive dissonance doesn't make my poetry suck, but if it does, so be it. UKRAINE MUST WIN!!!
SLAVA UKRAINI, GLORY TO THE HEROES 🙌💪 🇺🇦❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
This is a poem dedicated to eliminating my own reflexive narcissism, and making it all about the ones whose actions speak beyond words, all the Ukrainian men and women on the front. I love you all 💙💛
"who I am, who I'm not"
Despite all the things I've paid for, all the things I've bought
All it's done is prove to me what I'm not
I'll say it to my grave, say it because it's true
I'll never be a hero when I compare myself to you
Money will never win this war
Even though greed is how it started, taking is all they fight for
Empty shells keep falling at your feet
    No, not the brass ammo
The soulless skeletons, slaves to their "elite"
It doesn't matter how many pennies I continue to give
All that matters is that you fight, fight to live
Evil triumphs when the good do nothing to stop the flood
Money can't pick up a rifle, or sacrifice priceless blood
The truth is I can give everything I own
And never be anything when I see how freedom is sown
It's not me, it's you, down in the trenches
Let the politicians argue or sit pleasantly on golden benches
I listen to them talk on and on
    While heroes fight and die
But I'll never stop teaching truth over the lie
No one on earth is as good as you
No one compares, that's what's true
    That's what's true
I'll do my best, what I can
But all I have is nothing, compared to the better man.
...and the women? Don't even get me started
So many of the best have already departed
Thank God for my sweet Bakhmut love
Who even when she reads this will point me to above
"God is in control" she says as she loves me for who I am, who I'm not
Praising every second she's alive, reminding me what I forgot
Life is so precious, don't waste a single second
Accept the love to which you're beckoned
Open your heart, don't you fear
Love is eternal, so wipe away every tear
Come my love, let's forget the darkest things
I just want to look in the sweetest eyes and know that love covers everything
    Heaven is never ending
While the earth is bought and sold
    "God is in control"
    "God is in control"
My sweet angel, my best friend
    All I can answer...
"God has blessed me with you"
    Amen 🙏
