David, I really can't thank you enough for your channel and your input to products and methods to beter my wet shaving skills and techniques. I got into wet shaving and thought if I get a great expensive razor I would become a great shaver and go from the novice who cut up my face with every shave to the novice who the razor would make me the great shaver! I purchace a Rockwell T2 Stainless and still cut up my face and suffered from razor burn, bumps and ingrown hairs. My road was long and slow but I stuck with it, continued to watch your channel and so slowly progressed a little each week. No great strides, just little steps . Finally I purchased the Rockwell 6S. I went from shaving twice a week to every other day. My skills continued to increase and I had begun to be that better shaver. The 6S is helping me be a much better shaver who was finally able to achieve some great shaves. Thank you for all that you do. Now, not only do I love shaving but you helped me to become a better more able shaver.
Rockwell package came in, and gave its maiden shave today. Just WOW! Had a couple days old stubble and even with the R1 blade, my face feels smoother compared to the cartridge razors I’ve been using, without the after irritation. The Rockwell shave cream has a nice fragrance as well. Your reviews for the 6C are legit and I’m happy to have found your channel
Just converted few months ago due to your video 🤣🤣. Now i’m addicted to safety Razor and the complete ritual every 2-3 days.Not easy to find it in Indonesia. Got it from online. The Price probably double. My birthday wished from the wife is the 6s and let me grow facial hair so i can shave🤣🤣🤣….once you go blade you want go back😆😆
I've been using a Rockwell 6S for quite a while now. It's become my regular go to razor. Very impressed with the quality, workmanship and ease of use. Plate 6 is the only one I use since I got used to the tool. Can't say enough about how impressed I am about the whole experience. I'm sure the 6C is at least as good although may not be the same heft. Enjoying your videos. Learned to shave with a straight razor when I was 15 as Dad was a trained barber from the old country. Started using disposables for a while when I started head shaving and wasn't comfortable with the whole experience. Started using Dad's DE safety razors that I inherited and haven't looked back. My 4th comment here today 😊...because I forgot to wish you all a Happy Father's Day!... And David, a special thanks to you today for all the lessons we learn from your videos. I was looking to get away from disposables and went with the Rockwell 6C based on your videos. Man, that razor is like night and day compared to what I was using with DSC. I tried it for the 1st time this morning. Started with #1 but quickly jumped up to #3. Best and closest shave I've ever had outside of a professional barber. It was so smooth; the only way I could tell I was shaving was seeing the hair gone. Only issue I had was shaving cream and hair clumping up in the razor. I suspect maybe I was using too thick of a shave cream; my hair is pretty short. I'm just starting to upgrade my shave game so maybe a better shaving cream will be next on my list now that I have found a great razor.

I've just ordered a Henson To mild without trying any Henson razor. Should I order Rockwell 6C as well to try out? I do not have much hair to shave. Been using those $15 Amazon safety razor for the past 4 years and it served me well
Your going to love the Henson Al-13. I can get perfect shaves out of it offend. Personnal USA made blades, Rock in the Henson for me. At $55 using my code is a deal. Might want to save up for the 6S. I've never lost a single bristle in my Simpson brush or my Razorock. Incidentally, I find the Razorock brushes to be of just as good a quality at half the price. However their plissoft is not as soft as the Simpson. Close but not quite. It gives it a little better backbone.
I was going to sell my 6s to thin the herd some. Procrastinated about it for about a month, used the razor again, and fell in love with it all over. Thanks for the giveaway but I'm not in.
Thanks for sharing. I’m going to start giving away all of my razors even the ones I don’t like. I’ll keep still keep the best around but there my favorite ones to giveaway😁
Great video. I am 71 and just started wet shaving just over a year ago. It sounds like I started with all the razors you did and almost always end up getting a cut somewhere. Since changing to the Rockwell about 9 months ago, I have only cut myself maybe twice. I have the Rockwell T2, 6C, and 2 6S razors. One in blue and one in red. The 6S is my favorite. Just recently changed from using just the 3 plate to using the 4 - 3 - 2 plates in that order, and what a difference that made. BBS on every shave. No irritation at all. By the way, love the alum block you just used. What is the brand of the block you used?
I follow your Chanel now for few months and I discover few tips from you even if I shave for years , I bought first Rockwell 6 S grey finish , to me was hard to get it cos of the country I am rezident , anyway I had send it back that Rockwell 6 S , I did not like the finish , I admit I like the presentation box .Then I get the Rockwell 6 c gunmetal and that toy blow my mind how look and shave .I did see some guys succed to polish out the paint from Rockwell 6 s and look amaizig .I am wander why Rockwell don't sale 6 s in that way just be polish instead of use some paint which get scratched away special in the area where you screw the handle .Now I wait for my new Parker Soloedge , get inspired by your use of it .I wish well and get well soon after you will have the operation . Greetings from Romania .
@ohioshaves Rockwell 6C Thanks again for another great video. I can feel a difference between my cartridge razon vs my wet shaved. It does take a bit of a learning curve. The first few shaves might feel worse but once everything is ironed out it's awesome.
The threads striped out in the handle on my 6C. I like the design. I just don't think the quality is all there. Maybe I will have better luck with the 6S.
I think there was a bad run of this razor years back. Because there's a few other people that have had the same problem and honestly mine looks better today than it did the day I purchased it and that was three years ago. You're gonna have no problem with the stainless steel
Slightly off topic but watched a video of blade sharpness testing and found out that the Fucon blades, another Japanese blade, are sharper than feather. Your personas actually came in very sharp also.
Can I get a free razor since I’ve been cutting my face off since going from cartridge to safety razors. And no I don’t have sensitive skin. I’m determined to make this work. I just can’t get it to work. I can use a cartridge with just water and be fine. I have a Rockwell and it’s eating my face or the 1 or 2 blade just don’t seem to work.

Great shave , loved to try the 6C.
😁Me too
starting to use safety razors. your channel has great videos on how and which ones to use.
Awesome! Thank you!
Great video as always! Thanks for the giveaway
My pleasure!
Rockwell T2 or Rockwell 6S for daily shaving or one and done razor?
Too close to call
Looks really sick. Cheers from Canada
👍
@Ohioshaves Rockwell 6C. Love your videos and you’re teaching the shaving community a lot! Keep up the great work!
Thank you much
I've never lost a single bristle in my Simpson brush or my Razorock. Incidentally, I find the Razorock brushes to be of just as good a quality at half the price. However their plissoft is not as soft as the Simpson. Close but not quite. It gives it a little better backbone.
Thanks for sharing
Hello, Ohio, thanks in advance for this beautiful razor, eagerly waiting for your kind give away 😅
Thank you much
Keep the video coming happy father's day
Will do. Thanks for watching
@ohioshaves Rockwell 6C
Great video mate , cool to see you closing on 5k subs soon , well deserved 👊
You're in! Thanks for your support Frodo
@Ohioshaves
Great content man! Good luck to all and keep the videos coming!
Thank you much
Great video.
Thanksfor sharing William. Parker Alum Block: amzn.to/43JtUNk
@Ohioshaves Rockwell 6c. Great video, nice sound. I’m not sure about handlebars, but it will look unique!
Yeah, I may be a fall thing when I let my beard grow out again
@@OhioShaves well, I’m looking forward to seeing it. I don’t think I could pull that off.
How's your Rockwell 6C Gunmetal finish holding up after all these years? Any Tarnishing on the Gunmetal coating?
It still looks brand new. Very impressive quality
@ohioshaves Rockwell 6C What a generous giveaway! Thanks for what you do for the wet shaving community
Thank you much
I follow your Chanel now for few months and I discover few tips from you even if I shave for years , I bought first Rockwell 6 S grey finish , to me was hard to get it cos of the country I am rezident , anyway I had send it back that Rockwell 6 S , I did not like the finish , I admit I like the presentation box .Then I get the Rockwell 6 c gunmetal and that toy blow my mind how look and shave .I did see some guys succed to polish out the paint from Rockwell 6 s and look amaizig .I am wander why Rockwell don't sale 6 s in that way just be polish instead of use some paint which get scratched away special in the area where you screw the handle .Now I wait for my new Parker Soloedge , get inspired by your use of it .I wish well and get well soon after you will have the operation .
Greetings from Romania .
All good now. Thanks for sharing my friend.
Great program and I really like your reviews. 👍🏻
Much appreciated!😀
Glad to your channel flourish @ohioshaves Rockwell 6C

Rockwell 6c , would like to try one after watching your video.
You should!
Rockwell 6C Greetings from Greenfield, Indiana. Great videos always!
Thanks for watching!
@ohioshaves Rockwell 6C
Thank you for your great videos 👍
Good luck!
@ohioshaves Rockwell 6C
Thanks again for another great video. I can feel a difference between my cartridge razon vs my wet shaved. It does take a bit of a learning curve. The first few shaves might feel worse but once everything is ironed out it's awesome.
💯
The threads striped out in the handle on my 6C. I like the design. I just don't think the quality is all there. Maybe I will have better luck with the 6S.
I think there was a bad run of this razor years back. Because there's a few other people that have had the same problem and honestly mine looks better today than it did the day I purchased it and that was three years ago. You're gonna have no problem with the stainless steel
@ohioshaves Rockwell 6C
I really enjoy your videos. It’s nice to see another Ohio guy doing content
👍Thanks for the support
@ohioShaves RockWell 6c 😬

Awesome! Thank you!
I am starting my wet shave. Any recommendations for closest and safest DE razor for everyday use?
There is a video: th-cam.com/video/n25KjoHoOzE/w-d-xo.html
i think i watched the whole video three times and i didnt catch on how to enter haha. i would love the 6c!
😂Thanks for your support
Slightly off topic but watched a video of blade sharpness testing and found out that the Fucon blades, another Japanese blade, are sharper than feather. Your personas actually came in very sharp also.
Yes they are very sharp and smooth. I like them better than feather blades. How did the Kai blades do
@@OhioShaves check out 2brothersadventure blade sharpness test
I've seen a couple of their short videos
Can I get a free razor since I’ve been cutting my face off since going from cartridge to safety razors. And no I don’t have sensitive skin. I’m determined to make this work. I just can’t get it to work. I can use a cartridge with just water and be fine. I have a Rockwell and it’s eating my face or the 1 or 2 blade just don’t seem to work.
Good info. Im ordering mine now. TY

Can’t wait to compare this razor to my Razorock GameChanger and Mamba 70.
It’s special for sure💈👍
This is a great rated and great looking razor. Thanks for all your work.
Thanks Wally
Hey @ohioshaves, that Rockwell looks pretty damn comfy. I wouldn’t mind having that!😊
👍
Very interesting this one 😍 I really like your channel. Keep up the good vibe/work sir 👍🙂👍
Thanks for your support 😁
Hi Ohioshaves, please one last word of advice... For my new Rockwell 6S being ordered this July😊, should I use it as it is, or send it for polishing?🤔
Would polishing it really make a significant difference in performance? Please advise.
Gomez
It's perfect right out of the box. I would definitely shave with it for a month or so and you can always get it polished whenever you like.
@@OhioShaves ok thank you dear. It's done as advised. 👍🏾
This video is done as an instructive for techniques for wet-shaving. I may try what you're saying about rocking the razor to shave the top of the mustache section.
👍
When you use your brush to shave 🪒 do you put it in cold water or hot water? Still learning this stuff out
I use warm water
@ohioshaves Rockwell 6C
I just started wet shaving, and your content has been great! Thanks for everything you do!
Thank you much
Great to hear you’re feeling better @ohioshaves Rockwell 6C
Thank you much
I used your code to get me a 100 blades for my Henson Medium when I ordered it. :) I'd put in to win this...but shipping to Canada gets pricey.
Thanks for your support. This razor is made in Canada.
