@@ExplorewithmeMarloC Hey Marlo! It's drought city on my end too although we had some rain yesterday & spotty rain today. ( 11/21 & 22) Supposedly, we may get snow somewhere before Thanksgiving so, maybe that'll help things a bit? That stove looks awesome. I never used one but, it looks pretty easy to put together & hook up! I love this stove and pot system. Most of all I love that it stops the gas escape. That was always a worry of mine. I tended to think I was losing too much gas with each use… and the gas squirts… geez!!! Thank you Marlo. This is my favorite stove so far. ✌️🙂💙
Hey my friend, hope all is well with you ☺️ I love the fact that this stove helps save gas from being wasted when screwing it on and off. Things are so expensive these days so every little bit helps for sure. I appreciate your time in checking this out ☺️ i kinda laughed out loud when i just read… gas squirts!! Lol!!! My sick brain went there, sorry 😂🤣
Hey Marlo! Great video! There is so much more equipment out there now and made out of materials that didn't used to exist. This is a neat little system! I like the way another brand of stove can fit in it and still get everything else in. The way the pot attaches is extra nice! No chance of it sliding around. I like the way it doesn't let any gas escape. That would be extra nice if it was very cold out and manual dexterity became a problem. I admit I chuckled a little when you lit it the first time, whoa! You know what my first thought was! Another smelter! Marlo and 🔥🔥😆I am amazed at the price! Before you told how much it cost, I was guessing around $80.00 or so. Modern ultra-lightweight equipment is expensive. That makes this available to us low-budget or no-budget campers! You demonstrated this system very well as you always do. Your explanations were clear and easy to understand. If you decide to do a giveaway, I would definitely be interested in entering! Put me down for a hundred entries! Just kidding! 😆 Thank you for showing this product, and thank you for including footage of you hiking to your spot. See you next time sweet friend! 🔥🔥☕🏕🥾👊👍👍

@@donaldemery4471 Hey Nh… thank you so much. It’s a great piece of kit to add to my collection. It’s nice to have these inexpensive options that are extremely efficient.
Looks good Marlo. First, love your videos. I have canteen stoves, pm40 canteen kit, and firebox 5inch and firebox nano. I use either wood or trangia stove. I don't know if I would have a need for this but I do like it. All of my gear doubles for camping as well as grid down.
Been using mine for over a year, with the Green Peak, Pocket Rocket, and other stoves, and I've found that it is more gas efficient if you don't crank it all the way up, but maybe half (before it gets loud). It will take a little longer, but use way less fuel. Great report !
@@ExplorewithmeMarloC I find myself wondering what could or would happen if you had some kind of elevated grill & used the stove as your burn source?? I can't think of anyone that's done this although it seems there should be somebody who tried it, even if somehow it turned into a fail
Hey Marlo as always love your videos , Firemaple is giving Jetboil a run for their money and i think they are the better stove, with Jetboil your paying for the name , and the one thing i like about the pot or any pot for that matter is that it has your graduation marks on the side and yes its budget friendly , and you might want to get yourself a canister stand and what this is are legs for your canister and stove which will allow you to put the canister and stove down on uneven ground .
@@UrbanTacticalSurvival thank you. I like this system for sure. There’s no need to buy top of the line, high priced gear in my own opinion. I have that orange canister stand but didn’t need it for this particular day.
It's also something to keep around the house if you happen to lose power and need to boil water or heat up some soup if you have electric not gas stoves.
I have the Stanley version of cook pot. It’s not as nice as this Fire Maple version but I only paid $15 (several years ago) for mine. But this looks like a nice set. Good video.
@@WillieMakeit On these little baby size gas cans it could be top heavy but there was no issue as you can see but a regular size canister would be ideal conditions
Hi Marlo! Based on the vid, I got a pot (and used your DC). In using the pot, I’m finding that the lid is sticking slightly at a full boil so that I hafta take my knife and ‘twist-pop’ it so as to break the seal; does your’s do the same thing? Cold, the lid fits loose so I don’t get why it’s sticking when hot. Thanks!
@@bryanporter7545 I’ve used it countless times already and so far haven’t had that issue. Maybe the water level is too high in the rolling boil? Not sure but Im not experiencing that.
