Front couplings have always been a dream of mine for my Tomy and Trackmaster trains. Then you can doublehead trains and make your own Sodor in your room come to life. One day i’ll make those modifications
This makes this model so much better! Great modification! Very fitting to do it for Douglas too since Donald and Douglas are often double heading in the show
True that Trainboy! This is awesome! It's a shame you can't do the leader on and trailing off with Trackmaster 2 engines, since they can't free wheel. Tomy, Plarail, and Trackmaster 1 will always rule!
You can also put front couplings on your engines without cutting the front coupler things and by putting Front couplings on the bottom of your engines with Blu Taks like I saw in a how to front couplings on your engines tutorial video.
Watching your vids has really gotten me reinterested in Tomy Trains. Was curious where the best place is to purchase for someone in US. Is it just ebay at this point, or any official outlets to get more recent plarail stuff?
I wonder if you will get Donald and Douglas snow plows the 3D printed Trackmaster ones from shapeways and you will do a tutorial on how you can apply those to the twins so they can be reattached any time? I was wanting to try and get them on eBay but they're very expensive so I might as well stick to buying those 3D printed ones from shapeways

You can put a foil where the spring terminal is then put a battery the opposite way you normally do, and then your engine will run backwards.
