Dude, THANK YOU. I have been struggling so hard with trail braking for this year’s game and your explanation at 3:20 made me realize it was the slow release I brought over from f123 that was hindering me so much.
@@ryan_cooley11there's a difference between watching a tutorial and being coached tbf . When you're being coached it's personal and you're being told what you're personally doing wrong and doing right .
I just recently got my first racing wheel setup. Been practicing with 0 assists but doing it all on wet tracks. So hard but when I switch to dry tracks, it seems way easier to drive. Trail breaking seems like 100% necessary in wet conditions or you're constantly spinning out or locking up.
you could really do a series of videos like this as you mentioned, like traction control, abs, racing line.. I think it would be great and for myself would be an incredibly fun and good way to learn :D
JD something I can't come across is a tips video on how to drive in rain / wet conditions. Im driving in a comepetive league and are like a solid top 8 driver. But the moment it rain I bottle out. Im like last every time with margines and just can't figure out ways to catch up in speed.
Having a hard time adjusting to the braking this year. I keep getting lock ups, especially under high fuel. It might be indeed like you were saying that I used to mirror the braking and the steering input. But starting last game (F1 23) it seems like this isn't tge right technique anymore. So, I will definitely be trying the drag low pressure braking technique.
If your using ABS your not a racer. I’m not talking about them who are just leaning I’m talking about the ones who are happy to keep using the abs you will never be classed as one of the best
Well, that settles it. My problem has been that I’ve been doing it in 3 parts lol. I’m off to the track!! See you all out there!! **rams into wall on turn 1** 😂
My worst problem is that I can talk, all the microphones that work on my brother's machine, or I am banned. Would you know? I see you use Kph. I'm old school, and are you a Mercedes fan, I'm RedBull. Are you on PS4? Tral braking takes a lot of practice. Am I losing out on not buying a podium pass in the game? Enjoyed the video. Slainte ❤️
Driving my Logitech G923 without ABS is really not easy😅 I would really like a direct drive steering wheel but i think my steering wheel would work better on the PC than on the Xbox x😮 At least the traction control (off) works better than on the 23 model 😅😅 and the True Force system is just annoying, annoying. doesn’t exactly feel “real”.😂
still no color no paint on mercedes halo this ea is bsht really they need to correct this halo. and man this ferrari engine sound absolute disaster of a torment.
Every game we need to learn trail braking. So disappointed with this games last couple of years. Why just we can our experience from last game integrate in this year game. With little training we managed that. But no we need to sit in our simnrig couple weeks to learn to drive and braking.
I not playing this garbage ass game. The handling sucks sooo bad. I played almost everyday from 19-23. Leauge racing. But this game i bought it the day it came out. Like i do all the games. I tried to like it. I tried!! But man its just Fn garage. Im waiting until 25 for the next game

JD just gave us a free coaching session. Appreciate it!
Paying to be coached on a game you can watch endless free tutorials on TH-cam is insane
Not as if you need tutorials 😅😂

Seems like the Vegeta training
Came back on F1 20/21 and figured it out that the handling was more funny than the bus that we are now driving in 24’
have been sim racing for only a year and was always scared of turning off assist but you've convinced me to turn off ABS. keep up the great work!
Thanks, JD. My goal is to unlock that muscle memory.
I'll wait for the traction video. Thank you once again
Illustrative reinactments of common mistakes, as well as the ideal, certainly adds clarity. thanks for breaking it down beautifully.
Cheers jd been looking for a indepth video like this you totally communicate the way I learn 💪
The video I've been waiting for, thanks JD 🙏

Thanks for taking the effort!
Thank you JD
This is so clear and well explained
But after that do the same is … not so easy

The rear wheels still lock up on abs, especially on tyre wear in race
Thank you legend, can you show your settings camera?
Thanks mate.
Thanks for the video, coming from iracing where you trail brake slower in to the apex, how can this be they way it’s done here? Bad devs or bad game ?

JD what gloves are you using ?
Can you make a gloves putting on tutorial? I keep getting stuck at that part and you didn’t explain it in the video really.
Could we do tt v. Racs set ups. Would be good
Is slightly locking under breaking part of trail braking as a means to get an extra littler rotation or is "bad, period"?

Ugly hud, dead game...
bro has gloves & a $2000 steering wheel just for me to dump 3 seconds on his Austria time with a logitech G923 😂
World record is a 1:02 and gloves protect the wheel, which isn't £2K 😂
