    Another great tutorial! I have been working on the side freeze now I will practice going from the tire freeze to the side freeze 😎 hopefully I will gain much strength from doing this for moves like the flare which is one of my personal favs !! :)

    Great video! Thank you so much, I really need this. :) I really like these videos where you explain the movement so clearly. As someone who just isn't really good at anything athletic, this is extremly helpful. :D

    Hey Kaio, thank you for very clear tutorials. I've been working on this movement for a few days now and it's clicking into place! I am a Capoeirista so many of these movement patterns are very familiar - there is a lot of overlap! There is one thing I don't fully understand which is the mechanics of performing the side freeze with slide, do you pop your hips up to take the weight of the supporting arm so it can rotate a little when you slide? Not sure but can you do a little breakdown nugget just on this but please? From a Capoeira perspective, side freeze to forward slide is a cool movement pattern in itself. In this case you kind of slide it 90 to 180 degrees forward but in Capoeira if you slide it backward and turn it into a spin , the move is called a Relogio.

      Ooh I see! Very interesting! Yes sure, to be able to rotate on the side freeze you can push your hips and legs up a bit in order to have less weight on your arm :)
      You can also do it without pushing up, just by using the initial rotation and kick, but for this you need to kick harder and make sure you do it on a slippery surface

      Welcome! :) I made a tombstone windmill tutorial, you can apply the same things I explain in that one for the australian windmill as well :)

      @@KaioFalcrow Thanks, I'll check it out. Whenever I try Australians, it feels a lot different than Tombstones. I can do Tombstones but not Australians. I can do 1 clean Australian but doing 2 or 3 would be lucky.

      @@Defiantclient the main concept is connecting it with other moves and only then start trying 2 rounds and so on

    Just one question I have been meaning to ask… what was the first power move that u mastered n how long did it take for you to master it?

    • @KaioFalcrow
      @KaioFalcrow  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It was the backspin and it took few days :) the second one was the swipe and it took some days as well, but some months to master, the 3rd was the flare and it took around 1 month for 1 round, 3 months for multiple rounds
