Cool. I watched the long vid on your 2 car garage. Very nice solution. Might do a shed like that

You need some cement parking elements to burry in that ground its getting too messy with that dirt. Its very nice and cheap good work

I would've put a small loft to store things up top. I also would've put a window on each side, and I would've put a work bench in there. Other than that, it's alright.

if the snow is too big do you have a concern about the roof getting over weight from the snow?
    great job!

If there is a lot of snow I go up there and shovel it off.

That roof is going to cave in first heavy snow.

*HATERS* and the ( D.I.Y. ) Weekend Warrior ( WAY ) of Doing things. BUDGETS, Planning, Permits, and the How many guys does it take to screw in a LIGHT BULB type deal rolled into one here. First OFF ( DO NOT ) Take Offense when Comments are left as per the guidelines of You tube and its Content creators overall. Secondly ( REMEMBER ) that each day prices and availability is going to change. be it a 2x4, screws, metal, and other such items like color and the size each might want to add or change.. For YOU at the time this was constructed it ( MIGHT ) have seemed like a Million Billion dollars being wasted or Thrown down the drain as well. SNOW LOADS have been an issue for those in various regions regardless of YOUR Own particular situation. My Background covers many decades of * FIXING * What Should have NOT Failed butt did anyway. The General RULE of THUMB is this: Better to Build in Sections ( MEANING ) Less is MORE. Right now then to CHEAP out on the entire Structure only to have it all come crashing down.
NO OFFENSE intended here so take off the boxing gloves and listen up to the logic it contains. 2 x 4 at 3 feet on center ???? Regardless of price ( YOU ) REALLY need to brace this up a bit more. General construction for even garages attached or not is 24 inchs with 2x4's. IF a 2x6 was a option then trying to stretch it 36 still seems ( RISKY ) no matter where one lives in the modern age of Wind Gusts and Water flow being a Constant concern overall. The Location of this unit. Guarded on three sides more or less. That most likely is how * YOUR * getting away at beating the odds most will be Rebuilding long before the first winter and spring freeze and thaw cycles are repeated.
NOW the Suggestion MOST out there in the Construction community would be voicing is this. STOP tempting fate. Get yourself a few dozen 2x4 and 2x6 boards. Got Backwards now and fill in those Giant Voids. The ODDS of YOU not having a failure as more time goes on DECRECE to an Amount the boards will seem like a chewy gum purchase versus ( Tearing it all down ) and starting over again from scratch because much of what is left will be mere tooth picks or less. This is the ( VOICE of REASON ) Not your worst enemy or some KNOW it All coming to P I $$ on your Parade day. 20/20 and 50 /50 will never reach the desired 100% of full Capacity (IF) the Ignorance of Hindsight meets at the intersection of Mother Nature and Father Time. YOUR welcome in Advance for these Words of Wisdom.. Have a Batter day....

Spends 1400 on a shed and then says he was completely broke. Having 1400 bucks to spend is not completely broke. People need to learn what the words they are saying mean. I have been completely broke i couldn't afford food or a new toothbrush let alone a garage build.

"Broke" is subjective. His version of broke may be after he paid all his bills and took care of obligations, he only had a small budget to build a garage for his hobby. "Broke" for you clearly only means "living off ramen and peanut butter, and smoking half-used cigarettes found on the sidewalk". Lighten up. He is trying to get a point across that its OBTAINABLE and an option for those wanting something a bit more than a tent or under a tree.
