- Once again we’re back at the iconic Hawkstone Park but this time NOT for Vintage Racing! This is the 2020 Hawkstone International where some of the best riders across the globe battle it out in a pre season event. But as you can clearly see we had some typical English weather creating a slight extra challenge for the riders. Enjoy!

When i look hat this Video, i am not sad at all that i sold my dirtbike. But when the summer comes, i defenetely will be.

I don't know too much about MX, more of a mountain biker, but this is epic, incredible skills to even stay on the bike, let alone giving it 110%.
Coin Slot Sam mate I’d love a dirt bike if they weren’t so troublesome to get and maintain and so expensive
ArmageddonRacing with a 4 stroke it’s less likely to go wrong but if it does it’s usually big where as a two has more chance of going wrong but is usually less major
@ArmageddonRacing 450s yes, but 250 4-strokes aren't bullet proof at all, in no way.
Track was wet, but rideable until it absolutely hammered it down at lunchtime for an hour. The organisers no doubt couldn’t afford to cancel. Nice to see ‘local boy’ Thomas Covington having a good first race!
In practice Covington lost 8 sec a lap, so he wasn't really that strong but he stayed on the wheels in moto 1.

Track was not so bad... Looks like a hard base from what is shown here ... These are PROFESSIONAL riders. Their skill levels are well past us mere mortals.
@@250txc Hahahaha, i must of watched something else.... 2 riders abandoned their bikes as they were stuck in the mud.

Completely agree, the start of the GP season needs pushing back and the International always clashes with Italian Championship.
It used to be around new years day a good few years ago !
Italien champs even started two weeks earlier, and this mud race was the perfect practice for the first GP where the mud could get WAY deeper if it rains that much. Btw many years ago there was a christmas race every year at Valkenswaard and no one was complaining. :)
Jeffrey came back from near dead last to third in 20 mins. Where would he've ended in a 30 min race? Clear favorite at MXGP.
Not sure what rock you have been under but yep :) Of course he crashed away his title last yr and if that was not enough, he crashed on a sighting lap and got hurt even more. Shirley, he'll be ~wiser this yr?
@@250txc Dude no idea what rocks you're talking of but be sure I've seen Jeffrey MANY times in the last ten years, racing and in practice, and I know for sure he's the fastest guy ever been on an MX bike. And yes he's riding 'wiser' since a few years than he did before, but being 'wise' or being not, injuries happen in this sport, and they ever will.
