That has to be one of the nicest crawlspaces I have ever seen! Usually crawl spaces have dirt floors, but not this one. And I am surprised none of the EST 280 heat detectors in the crawl space didn't take a crap.
These came from another building but they do still make advance devices such as outdoor devices and I don't even know if you can buy LED devices yet xenon ones are not discontinued yet
18:50 did you end up going back and installing that horn off camera, or was it considered loud enough for the circumstances? Also, this video was a fun chance of pace
@@nics-systems-electric it’s definitely a lot better than not being able to hear it at all. Surprised to see Advances though, I assume those were just surplus or something?
Really a good job. ☺️ But I think that if the building burns I wouldn't necessarily want to be in this crawl space. I think it's just a grave in the end.
Since when did crawspaces had fire alarms I’ve never seen any in my life seen that and also why not the L series horn only also also will those old pulls get replaced
When you remove the padlock for the crawl space access you should then fasten it closed on the open hasp so nobody can “accidentally” lock you down there.
Because not everything is about students in fact the occupancy of the building and who is in a specific space does not matter if you were in the basement of a building and saw a fire wouldn't you want to pull a pull station to a evacuate the building?
That had to be fun having to constantly wipe all the insulation and dust off of your phone's camera lenses 🤣
Seems like hard work i do wonder if crawlspaces could be prevented if people didn’t worry about looks so much

Great video, good thing you added those horns because people in the crawl space definitely need to know if there’s a fire
Yes makes testing a lot easier too so you can know when you set the device off so you don't pop the heat detectors
@@nics-systems-electric yeah
Hello NIC’S - SYSTEMS & ELECTRIC
Nice vid and good job with the install
you still have advances I thought those and the xenon l series are discontinued

Nice work!!
That is an extremely nice crawlspace.
Hidden tunnel
Sorta basically the crawl space is used for pipes and wires to be under ground but accessible as seen at 4:03
@@firealarm. I know what a crawlspace is it’s a joke
Talk about a light at the end of the tunnel. Lol
18:50 did you end up going back and installing that horn off camera, or was it considered loud enough for the circumstances? Also, this video was a fun chance of pace
Haven't gone back yet and this was a few months ago it seems to be audible from all areas now so I think that's enough
@@nics-systems-electric it’s definitely a lot better than not being able to hear it at all. Surprised to see Advances though, I assume those were just surplus or something?
@@HenBasketFireAlarms they were extras that were removed from my school
Good job!
Is there a cool space with backgrounds
That has got to be the nicest crawl space I’ve ever seen!!! I was expecting a dirt floor and a way lower ceiling. Lol
Yeah it's a very luxurious crawl space as far as they go lol
Why did you end up using horns instead of horn strobes?
Cool that your doing this stuff Nic!
"heat detector not a life safety device"
Really a good job. ☺️ But I think that if the building burns I wouldn't necessarily want to be in this crawl space. I think it's just a grave in the end.
It's Sprinklered non-combustible construction pretty safe
You guys aren’t required to have red painted boxes and conduit for fire alarm systems in Canada?
No
That's gotta be really loud in person
That looks like a back Mum
Since when did crawspaces had fire alarms I’ve never seen any in my life seen that and also why not the L series horn only also also will those old pulls get replaced
Lots of crawlspaces if it's needed and advances work just fine as we already had them and there's no reason for the pull stations to be replaced
very good
14:12 not a shit thing. it's a grease trap. they smell far worse than septic waste.
Sounds like a shitty thing to me lol
That Crawlspace Can Be A Safe Area To Shelter In During Any Tornado Warnings
You don't have to capitalize every first letter in every word, just the FIRST LETTER in the FIRST WORD needs to be capitalized.

Wow! I still have to wire smokes and heats in my homes crawl space.
No way!
@@theplanetmc181 yes way
My first thought is I would've loved to play down there when I was a young kid. My second thought is it must be terrible to work in as an adult.
I love your videos
Thanks
What was the panel upgrade?

@@nics-systems-electric I see, thank you for the info.
I wonder how often the lights get left on in the crawlspace
i am installing a fire alarm in my house any tips?

True there are other exits to get out at at least
I’ll always hate spectres lol

You should test a fire alarm system at a supermarket maybe.
I don't work with a company that does that
was those exit signs replaced with the running man ones
No all originals
is your cart a shopping cart without it's basket??? if so, that's awesome!
