Ngl, but there is nothing like sitting on couch, and watching your school fire alarm testing videos on the TV, and then getting really sleepy halfway through the video. Kinda sad this is the last summer with you working in this district.
When I was in high school, I accidentally pulled the fire alarm with a music stand I was holding while waiting for a door to be unlocked. Luckily, it was summer and we were just there for marching band practice. That pull station really needed one of those plastic covers.
Very very awesome The alarms i have always wanted to pull was the ones in my brothers high school because they are vintage alarms and the ones in my middle school
24:36 check out the monkeybell LOL reminds me of a vintage 1984 Durabel bell located in the concession and pavilion building on Newcastle Island (off Nanaimo) which has a human face painted on it in black paint. It’s original to shortly after that system was installed because when I first visited it in 1985 a year after they opened it as a restored heritage site the face was there then. It still remains today albeit very faded so sadly you kinda have to squint to make it out but it’s still there even after all this time (right across from the kitchen area where you order your food) As for that thermostat; another interesting vintage icon from the schools of my youth; “A Barber-Colman pneumatic”
Of all the schools, which fire alarm system do you think functions the best? Also, if the intrusion alarm goes off, are there any primary contacts they call first, or do they just send the police?
Police do not respond to intrusion alarm if it occurs in the night during closed hours the monitoring company will tell the security guard company for a security guard to go to the site
Here in the states it’s generally not recommended to put horn strobes in bathrooms and small closets. Places like that will generally get only strobes. Are the rules different where you live?
All the fire alarm systems in the school district call the fire department using a relay tied into the security system that then contacts the monitoring company that then calls the fire department to that location of that school
its nice to see that some schools or buildings still have old fire bells i just think that they sound better then the newer alarms

Very cool system! The first detector was a System Sensor 1400.
It is a 1400
@@The09creepertechnically was, this video is no longer in the present

You have a very cool job. It’s really cool you get to work with these fire alarm systems. I’m very impressed.

I love the L-series horn strobes
08:35 Aww [L-Series censor sound]
Are the portables ever directly connected to the building with no separate panel interfacing for them?
Rarely as if there is more than one portable there will most likely be a nac booster as each building needs its own nac

Those are System Sensor 1400’s. I think the 1400’s are ionization and the 2400’s are photoelectric.
what's the model of those fci bi-langual t-bars?
Why is there such a long delay between when you pull the pull station and the alarm going off?
Do you know what panel the 320C replaced?

You have to have a minimum dB requirement of 75 dB as long as you don't exceed 108
When Will Part 3 Of Your House Fire Alarm System Video Will Come Out
My schedule has not changed I post a video every Saturday and a video from the field on Wednesday
Great test!
got the same pull station at my highschool
Yaaaaaaaaas more testing!!!!!
is this the system that had the shitty EST Quick start you guys were called to early on a weekend?
No not this one, this is an elementary school with a Notifier system the other school is a middle school and it has a EST Quickstart
Call me a goat head lol
I got to actavate the fire alarm for a drill.
At what point do you know a device is broken and not just delayed. Like how long do you try before you’re like it doesn’t work
Why do all schools seem to have the system sensor l series now
Because it's the newest devices
Cool stuff
But I like the simplex bells
They still use mechanical bells!?
Nice
Your vids are awesome and I want to see 2 full tests each year. Also you are lazy for driving 150 ft ,I run a mile every day :/
Do you run in work boots jeans and tools and testing equipment though??
9:16 fire alarm went off
Can this fire alam call the fire department?
it can. But they called the monitoring station to put the system into test mode for this to not send FD
If it has a communicator device on it or some kinda dact, I don't see why not..
All the fire alarm systems in the school district call the fire department using a relay tied into the security system that then contacts the monitoring company that then calls the fire department to that location of that school
This Edward’s MB10-24 bell sound equely stupid I don’t know why anyways
24:06 “SHART”
24:35 what the heck? Lol
Its supposed to be loud
Why isn’t anyone giving me a comment your not interested I am 😢😭
yes boi
i pulled it at my school, got the strap too
i am living chec rpblic
BTW the simplex heatv detector it not a smoke detector, what solo stick do you test?
Its supposed to be loud
