Women use "silent treatment" to punish the guy. It is a extreme form of Narcissism. Silent treatment is very abusive and a torture on the victim. Instead of a smear campaign on her he should just leave her.

What if these narrassist act calm and composed in front of others ( covert type) then? I faced that kind of situation,,this person blamed and lied about things for straight 3-4 hours but as soon as he got caught lying red handed he kept silenced and act apologetic and used less words as much as possible so people who were aggressive towards him earlier and demanding some justice suddenly they lost all interest and started to say "Let it this situation go now. It happens from now on he will not repeat this mistake. Now u r stretching thing. Look he is apolozing, Forget it now. Start a new begining".blah blah blah...........Like that pressure was so frustrating. How to deal with thiese kind of situations.
You know you are in the right ma'am, dont cower down to their bullshit because if it happens again Or something worse happens, these people aren't going to come to your rescue. Always choose yourself and your emotional/mental wellbeing first

I have experienced this at work...they use passive aggressive method... You may not know who is doing nonsense with you. Even if you know for sure, they accuse back that you are imagining. They care less about their behavior but target your reaction. When i was dating one person, he also used to do and say weird things and accuse me back that i am doing it... I stopped interacting with him. Our problem with these people is we need to let them go... Know how they are behaving and if not appropriate let them go.
