    I love doing that washi trick on the edges of pages, makes thumbing through the book so satisfying!

    Best statement. “There are no rules people, there are no rules” feeling so free in doing this.

    Seeing your filled pages with all of the colours and things to look at, is just so mesmerizing to me! I'm pretty sure you were showing, and working in, your old planner when I first discovered your channel...I absolutely love it! Can't wait to see more as you add things to your pages! Hugs beautiful ~

    I love your free style! I haven’t let loose that much yet...but, I have started using my planner to memory keep. I took my disk planner apart and put the pages in a sewing book binder thanks to your inspiration. My pages are more photo heavy than doodling, but, I love it! Thanks for helping me to think outside the norm. It’s a lot more fun!

    I’m so excited...my mom and I went thrifting yesterday and I picked up an old cook book and an old science book that I think would work so well as a planner! I’m going to pick one and get started on it today!!!😊🔆

    I want to make a planner now. Your ideas are so great and I've been looking through my bookshelf for a book to use. Sadly I just took a load of books to our local Value Village. I love everything you do!!! My kids laugh at me because I have started to collect produce stickers like you. Thanks for sharing.

    Too funny! I had just started a planner journal in a composition book before I saw your video!!!! I absolutely LOVE the size of composition books. I glued two sheets together because those pages are pretty thin. I used the same 2 pg spread for mine like you have yours. Wednesday just works!!!!!!! I love my planner. Everyone want to see it....because I always have it with me! Love your videos!!!!!!!!

    Thank you for this journal/planner series, I am getting great ideas for my journal. I only started memory keeping journaling last month and wasn't sure how I was going to incorporate some planning into it without having to have a separate book, your ideas have given me some things to try. Love, love, love it! this is my new favourite thing! Thank you so much Gina you're a genius! When I watched the first video I went straight out and bought a book and made a start on it. I'm so in love with it I made a video today to share the little bit I've done and provided a link to your video! Best wishes rachel

    This is probably only a revelation to me, but I realized why I’m so enamored with your particular process. You are literally playing. I think it was in this video that you thought of something and said, “Oh snap!” I could so picture you- and of course I have no idea what you look like, but I had this perfect picture of an eleven year old you figuring something out. Thank you so much for sharing all of this with you. I just love the way you think. I’m a teacher, too, and I LOVE to watch and see and hear people think. Sometimes I say to my students when they figure out something new, “Would you just take a minute to stop and look at that brain? My god! It’s outrageous! And don’t even get me started on your heart!” When I watch your videos, I am constantly thinking, “My god! Would you look at that brain?! And that heart, good god!”

    I took pages out of an old book my sister gave me like you showed. I want to use mine as an art journal. So for my assignment I’ll put down background art for the month of August.

      Not silly, I did the same thing because I like tocks. Once I read the book I was ok with using it. Plus, in the back of the book it lists other books in this series. So I bought the dinosaurs and stars books. For me. They're a good size and paper. Yeah, FUN!!

    Hi, I m a beginner and I wish to begin a book like this. I found a book with your description but there is a glossy papier inside. Do you think it will be ok if I want to paint on or may I wait to find an another type of paper ? Thank you for your advices.

    • @stellarjstudios
      @stellarjstudios  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Glossy paper will be just fine!

      Hélène DIOTTE you can also use gesso. It's a primer for paint medium. Just paint it on the glossy paper arcs it will make whatever you paint or glue on work so much better!
