Oops, typo on the last Intro chord. Switch the strings for the 9th & 8th frets. Also on the 3rd jam. I put Ebmaj7 on the screen but meant Emaj7. 👉 Take the FREE Bob Weir 5-Day Challenge www.jeffwilliamsguitar.com/Bob-Weir-5-Day-Challenge
Jeff, I can't get enough of your videos. One day I will jump into the Patreon and take my playing even further, but thank you for continuing the high quality content and breaking things down in such an easy way!
Awesome! I've got all your 'Eyes Of The World' printouts from your Patreon and I am really looking forward to spending a good amount of time with this beautiful song during the brief year-end work lull coming up. What a great way to reconnect with music and myself...thanks so much, Jeff!
Glad it was helpful! I've been using this strap forever and have one on each of my guitars. I never take them of. They save time and give you piece of mind that they won't slip off.
@@JeffWilliamsGuitar thanks for the review! I wasn't sure if they would be as secure as the typical strap locks that replace the buttons, but I'll take your first-hand review to heart.
This is the closest I have - Eyes of the World » Signature Licks: th-cam.com/video/zS8z101N6po/w-d-xo.html And this, which is more of my own thing - Eyes of the World: 2 Pentatonics + 1 Note?: th-cam.com/video/nh861vIcauI/w-d-xo.html
@@JeffWilliamsGuitar Love those 73-74 Eyes. Hate they dropped that 2nd and 3rd jam after 74. 8/6/1974 is perhaps the most jaw dropping Eyes ever performed. That Dm lended its way into China Doll so perfectly.

Just another fantastic lesson on the Grateful Dead---this is awesome and a HUGE help, great analysis, cheers!!

Hey Wesley, glad to hear the videos are helpful!
Ahhh, Betty Cantor and the Wall of Sound. Bliss! 😍
this video is so relaxing , it's 5 am in here and I've been watching this for 20 minutes !

Glad you like them! And enjoy the time off.
Great lesson as always
Thanks
Just found this channel. Good stuff.
MY DUDE! Thank you for making this video! Now my only question is, I guess jerry is ripping the ebdim scale over that ebdim7 section?
No prob Craig. Yeah, that works over the Ebdim7 section. Also, just outlining the chord (like Slipknot) works too.
I always tried to stand in front of Bob at the shows, to see what the hell he was actually doing. A lot of "wait, what?" and always fun.
Thanks for the awesome lesson! I have a somewhat unrelated question: How do you like that locking strap? I've been considering one.

Awesome stuff thank you !
Thanks Thomas and no prob.
Great! Do you have a Jerry lesson for Eyes?

Sweet guitar! What kind is it?
Thanks! It’s a B&G Little Sister Crossroads: bit.ly/jwcrossroads
Hey man, sweet video, um why is half your goatee missing?
What kind of guitar is that? It's awesome.
Thanks Anthony. It's a B&G Little Sister Crossroads.
@@JeffWilliamsGuitar I have been seeing B&G guitars everywhere lately. Thanks for letting me know 👍. Keep doing what you do!
Nice video. Just an FYI - On the third solo section you show an EbMaj7 instead of Emaj7…
Don’t know if worth fixing.
Oh shoot! Thanks for pointing that out. Unfortunately it's not that easy to fix, delete and upload again but I pinned a comment pointing it out.

@@jonathanroselaw Yeah, I love 70-74 overall. Definitely my favorite Dead period.
What guitar are you playing in this video.
It's a B&G little sister crossroads.
For the intro is the g#m triad 9 -8-7 on the g b and e strings respectively? Or 8 -9-7 on the g b and e strings?
Oops a typo again. I need you as an editor! lol
@@JeffWilliamsGuitar I am open to that ha!
It’s simple… just harmonize EM7 😉
this sounds nothing like BIB
