- Boat Ramp swallows a truck at Black Point Marina. The July fourth weekend was absolutely crazy. Fred the American Crocodile showed up right after a man loses his truck while backing in his trailer.

That man reversed out-of-the-way like a boss that boat & truck coming at them that man got skills for real!

Lived in Florida city for 5 years and watching the boat ramps at black point marina was a pass time show

I was hoping to see Fred the croc swim into that submerged truck and drive it back up the ramp.

He said once the truck started sliding it was fast. Sucks but low tide on a rainy day always puts trucks at a disadvantage

Is there a tow truck permanently parked at the Marina? Just install a bank of credit card operated winches across the parking lot and rake in the cash!

I have thought of that idea many times but for the purpose of pulling the truck and boat up the ramp when the tires are spinning, they could restripe the parking lot and put the winches inbetween the parked cars. Or have, or rent out wheel chalks at the dock to prevent the bloop, bloop, bloop.
Only in Florida! It's a fucking racket somebody's getting a kickback because boat ramps around here are groved so you have traction but I guess that's just the common sense not taught!
When I used to go fishing at the Hull near Nantasket Beach in Massachusetts, there always were one or two tow trucks waiting around low tide because the ramp was slippery and people could not get traction to pull their boat out of the water. I always carried two small rug pieces to place under my rear tires if I got stuck.
The tow guys charged $20.00. This was back in the early 1980's.

I love how the guy driving the truck looks at his buddy in the boat as if it were his fault. I think we should make this a drinking game. Every time the guy falls or stumbles you have to take a shot. Im thinking the guy had too many already. Love this channel A/M

That driver is so lucky to be alive. I thought his door broke his neck or something. The way I see it is it's just a pick-up and can be replaced a human life can't. I know it hurts just very glad he walked away...

I know things happen fast but I can't help but think the guy in the boat could have gotten the motor started and push to keep the truck close to the ramp.
It looked like there might have been a split second where that could have possibly helped, but in all fairness, that isn't something that a person is ready to react to. 🤷♂️

Possibly could be he was already out of the truck when it began to slide down the ramp. Tries to jump in and prevent it from going in.

Lesson learned: I will never send my little dog to go in truck at the ramp. He will always stay in the boat with me. Cause no way he could have gotten out of that truck. Plus Fred was just nearly as long as the boat he was chomping down beside. No crocs or allies here but we got boat ramps! lol

This is a perfect example of just because they can afford a boat doesn't mean they should own and operate one.
Nothing to do with that at all. Simple mistake and he paid for it. That's like saying no long time boat owner has forgot a plug? everyone makes simple errors sometimes.
Simple Error? He lost his truck! A simple error is bumping the dock or forgetting to tie off !
I’m not impressed with this ramps grid design. Reminds me of a lake ramp. Tropical weather, pitch of the ramp, it’s a bad design compared to other ramps in the area.

Simple error. The system to release the boat from the trailer was not in the off position. It can happen to anyone. A lot of haters like always. It’s clearly in the video that this boat have a floaton trailer with a quick release system. Of course the hater on the top don’t know everything. Lol

No insurance company will let you try to put your truck back on the road. It is always written off as a total loss because water and electronics = total disaster. It would cost too much to repair everything.
