If you want 3-star Quetzali, I found the best one to go against is Xin-Xi. Same tactic, different tribe

Maybe it's just on the PC version, but the game will allow you to mirror match Quetzali v Quetzali.

You should try to get to them by move 2-3
they keep training riders
This DOESNT work in 2022. AI got too smart, they spread out like butter on hot bread when starting the game. You don't have a chance in capturing their City before they get a second one.
Quetzali is gonna be dying a lot after this!

Quetzali was one of the easiest to get 3 stars in. Btw when you have 3 stars on two tribes, press and hold both and wait a while

@@GullYYGamer i've done it in 3 as well with Oumaji, found Xin-Xi's city first turn, got 2 riders, and on turn 2 I moved my rider into their city because they though I was friends and I just captured next turn

This one really helped me rethink my strategy. Instead of full-on spamming units 24/7 and using my stars on stuff i never use, i now act more efficiently and i count in counter-attacks. I just got 3 stars with Xinxi against oumanji, Imperius and Luxidor, conpleted in 35 turns, lost only 1 unit in crazy difficulty, I got lucky with the spawn area as there were many cities nearby, so I just set up a dense defence until I got enough resource, then I speed ran their demise with 2-3 turns for each tribe

Nice strategy, I stopped racking my brain for ways to get perfect scores and just tried to get better. But this is a good way 👍
If I start and am surrounded by others that don't let me expand, and it's obvious it's a losing match... The bunnies are about to go marching!
Outside of that Aquarion are my Bros. Sea superiority usually results in a win for me, and they're spear men (8⭐'s) is cheaper than (20⭐'s) for a battleship! And their movent makes it easy to snipe artillery and do the annoying Oumaji double move and slip on people's unguarded settlements.

Hello! I have 3 stars oumaji on domination. You pick oumaji to go against Yadakk. If you dont have yadakk then i dont think you can

This seems no longer possible ? Maybe an update ? It seems like the other camp IS always far away. Or we can't see it anymore. I have never seen the yellow corn in the game
every time I try against ouimaji (I don’t have quetzali) they always get another village and I have to attack. What should I do?
You have to get lucky and spawn right next to them
Or just attack the other village, same happend to me
I posted this exact tactic about a year ago on Reddit. Did you read about it there or come up with it on your own? Either way, it's definitely the best tactic to use.
Also, you could have gone for the capture on turn 5 and won on turn 6. Still a good tutorial, though.

Hey Gullyy could u explain to me on the Polaris nerf and what the nerf did cause I saw u mention it in another video and you talked about the population of the outpost could u explain to me what the means
Sure, Outposts used to give 2 population for 5 stars and could only be built on shallow water. This was changed because people could level their city's really high and fast, and get a lot of Gammi's. Now Outposts give 1 population for 5 stars and can be built on any ice tile within your territory. Ice banks max level was changed from 8 to 10.
Do u mind if I ask what is population, gammi and what the deal with the ice bank what’s it supposed to do anyways
@@jackheuy1541 Population is the blue bar that allows your cities to level up, one population is one section of the bar. A Gammi is the Polaris Super units, and in large numbers can wreck havoc against inexperienced players, and decent players alike. The Icebank is basically customs houses for Polaris. You can only have one icebank, and it generates stars based on the amount of frozen tiles you have (I believe it's 3 stars for every 15 or 20 tiles)
Ok and one last thing u said in another comment that you’ve started using Aquarian and u love them I have them just don’t know the purpos of them besides they can go in water with those turtle. Why do u prefer Aquarian then Polaris
@@jackheuy1541 I love tribes that have a good economic edge, Aquarion, Kickoo, Bardur are my favorites. Polaris has a very weak early game economy, so I usually role with Aquarion. Their spear dudes are really versatile In battle.

This strategy is great but feels a bit cheaty. And since I got two stars with every tribe against 9 crazy bots I've been trying to get three. Do you have any advice on how to get 3 stars against 9 crazy bots? it's a bit too hard but I managed to get once, you really need to be careful not lose units.
Research free spirit, that way you can disband low health units on the front lines

It doesn't really count when your against 1 player, it's just too easy. I usually go 3 or more people that's what I would count as a real win

Accidently went as oumaji against Bardur instead of the other way around, won in 3 turns 100%

The startgey was fixed.. To get 3 stars you have to master the tirbe and play against weak tirbes

Due to this AI update and water water update, i had to result to Cymanti. The AI will put up city wall woth defenders, so i just used shaman to transform them. Now i have my first 3 star

Seems like a great method. However i dont have quetzali and this does not work as good on oumaji
Edit: took a while but i finally beat the oumaji in 4 turns but i lost one unit so wasn't 3 star, next one I won in 11 turns which gets 98% so still 3 stars!

I love the strategy and I'm doing it but do u know if there's a way to calculate your fanal rating before your finish a game. If not i'm going to try to find a formula
Divide every score by 4 and then add then together
Something like (Ss/4)+(Bs/4)+(Td/4)+(Br/4)

Nice video, works great for me. But how you do it for polaris? Because all terrain outside the own borders will then look like quetzali‘s (when you do polaris v quetzali) so how can u get it with polaris? Thanks!

@@GullYYGamer yeah man thanks got it now too. :) the trick was to just start playing and eventually i got a game where they were very close. you can't immediately see if they are near bc of the terrain issue i mentioned, but playing like 2-3 turns will show. 😁

I tried it around 20 times against Oumaji, didn’t work. The problem is, that riders do much more damage and are faster, which means they either kill one of my troops with two riders in one round, or just rush my base.

What about the tribes that start with special units? (Ex. Oumaji, Hoodrick, Vengir, Quetzali, Polaris)
The same basic strategy should work. You might have to level up Polaris's capital once so you can get 2 warriors, maybe put them against Oumaji. As for Oumaji maybe put them against Bardur

How do you know if you have spawned close? I always seem to be the other side of the map to the enemy
You'll be able to tell based on their terrain, and usually if the map is all land then they'll spawn closer to you

I tried this on polaris and since I don't have quetzali my enemy is oumaji but it doesn't seem to be working. Oumaji ends up spamming riders. How to deal with this?!

I try to get 3 star Xin-Xi against Oumaji (because I don't buy the tribes), and they always train lots of riders (not allowing me to fully restore my health) or they get another village right away. What should I do?
Update: I managed to get it by going against Imperius and rushing their capital.

Try putting Oumaji against Polaris. If you don't have Polaris, but them against Xin-Xi. Hope that helps. Hello from the United States of America!

try merging them, all you have to do is press and hold two tribes at the same time for a bit then release, but this only works with tribes that have 3 stars.
