Great video 🤙🏼🙏🏼🏆 thanx for the education!!!!
Ford sells a TPMS relearn tool that you can find for $10-$15, that looks like a garage door opener that will trigger the sensor in the wheel without having to let air out. It would be the same process just instead of letting air out you put this device up to the valve stem and press the button and it will send the signal and the horn honks and you go to the next wheel. Way more convenient if you are going to do this regularly. Letting the air out is a great trick though.
Great tip. Worked like a charm! Thanks a bunch.
Your welcome. Glad my video was able to help. Just out of curiosity, what year is your vehicle? Trying to figure out what years this works on. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the video. Appreciate your time spent.

You are welcome. Thanks for watching.
Super useful, thanks. Now I’m off to finish the job that the tire shop didn’t.
Glad I could help. To bad the tire shop didn't do a better job. Thanks for watching.
How do u get digital speedo mode ?
Thanks I'll give it a try. Your pressure seems very high. Are your tires larger than 285/55 R20?
Tha k you im going to try this on my sons 2016 f150 that the tire pressure little is staying
Your welcome. I hope it works out for you. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Thanks for great lesson 🎉, this will help when you changed wheels or rotation tires, My F150 2015 XLT requiring 55 psi, and it's very annoying (solid tires in bumps), how can I resetting it to reduce the pressure limit (40 or 35), do I need to change sensors or just do one of your tricks 😊, thanks in advance
I run BFG 285 r17 on mine. 50 psi seems like allot. Mine are like 32-30
@@davegordon6943 Good types of R17, if you want to change pressure limit it just need reprogram throw OPD2
I"m going to go outside right now and try this. Back Story , I had to drive to work one day with 17 psi in a tire cause I picked up a screw, when I got back home I fixed it and then pumped up the tire and then two days later I got a TPMS fault on the dash.
Well it didn't work. The processed worked but it kept saying something like Unable to learn Start Process again. I think I need to replace the TPMS in the tire. Do you know if I have to stay with motorcraft or will any aftermarket work that fits?
I did it just as You did and it seemed to be ok, but a few minutes later that light (Low pressure tire) turns on again i don't know why
I got all new sensors on my 2015 f150 and when i try to train my first tire it honks twice. Do you have any idea what could it be??
Possibly a bad sensor? I would take it back to the tireshop. They might have to reprogram it. Let me know how it works out for you. Thanks for watching.
How long before the horn honks? I felt like I was there forever & it never honked
I have seen times that you had to have the tire pressures set a few psi over spec before you deflate to make them honk. Let me know if it works for you. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Would this work on a 2013 ford f-150
Next time I get my hands on one, I will give it a try. Thanks for watching.
I have my right rear that shows NO reading ?? This after the dealership supposedly put the sensors back on??
Sounds like there was an issue programming the sensor or a problem with the sensor itself. If they charged you to replace them, I would take it back for warranty. Let me know how things turn out. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Is this process identical for brand new sensors?
The new sensors still have to be programmed. All this does is learn the position.
will this work on new wheels with new sensors ?
I think it probably would. The sensors would be cloned off the factory ones Let me know if it does or not. Thanks for watching and commenting
Did it work? I replaced a bad sensor but I’m wondering if it will work or if it needs to be programmed
I hope it can work on 2013 GT mustang
I would think it would. Keep me posted if it does or not. Thanks for watching.
Mine 2 are missing all together no reading but I will try anyway thanks
The sensor could have failed. Might have to get a tire shop to get it looked at. Let me know how it works out for you. Thanks for watching.
This worked as suggested but the low tire icon is still on.
Does your dash display the tire pressures? Are they all where they should be? Also try unplugging any accessories like phone chargers etc. Keep me posted with what you find.
Does not work for 2016 F150.
I have seen vehicles that you have to air up 5psi or so above spec then air it down. I know a few guys with 2016s, I'll try it and let you know.
What does it mean when you get no honk
Could be a failed sensor. Or try airing up again to the spec that's listed on your door jam then deflate. Let me know how it works out for you. Thanks for watching.
No effing way!!!!
My left front tire goes flat with no beep
Try airing it up 3 to 5 psi over what it says in door jam and try it. Let me know how it works for you.
@@shanersmechaniclife3164 ok, thanks. Just saw this. I'll try tomorrow and let u know
May be a dead battery
@shanersmechaniclife3164 still nothing. I'm not gonna mess w it any more. I didn't have em on my '66 Dodge Charger, so...can get along without.
