  • In this session, Russell Foster, Professor of Circadian Neuroscience and Director of the Sir Jules Thorn Sleep & Circadian Neuroscience Institute at the University of Oxford discusses the science behind the research in his book, Lifetime, regarding the body clock and circadian rhythms.
'Sleep and circadian rhythm disruption (SCRD) is not just feeling tired at an inappropriate time it has global effects upon our health. What can we do? Well there's a lot of behavioural change, light therapy that we can implement but where that doesn't work, we've got the opportunity now of development of new drugs.'
