Procolored June Promos: www.procolored.com/collections/brand-day-sales-event?ref=HaiandTerrie
real quick I just purchased the A3 l1800 roller version needed help with the settings in pro rip as far the width and height for canvas size to print 🖨 I have 330mm off of the procolored main page however I don't know the height 😅 sorry new to this world any assistance would be greatly appreciated 😂 Printer size
750*315*225mm is also some additional dimension
@@KTOJRICH. how wide is your film roll? 330mm is 12.9 inches. do you have the 13 in roll or the 11 in roll? the height or length can be whatever you decide. for example if you plan on printing something that may be 5 ft long than you would want the length to be at least 5 ft, or 60 inches, or 1524 mm. if you're going to only print a few designs at a time then you can shorten your length. so the length is really up to you and how long your prints will be. there's no set number for the length. the width on the other hand depends on your film roll. if you have a 13 inch roller than your width would be 330mm. if it's an 11 inch roll of film then 279mm. hope that helps!
I bet that actually peeling the film off was so satisfying. At least is was for me watching this lol
Great video 💯
very helpful!!!
Thank You, this was very helpful!
You're so welcome!
Hi! I'd like to ask for some advice. What is the smallest font size that can be printed using UV DTF? I find that when I print small letters, they do not adhere to the surface but remain on the film. What should I modify? Could the amount of varnish affect the proper adhesion of the letters? What percentage of varnish should be applied to the text? Currently, I am using 100%.
Procolored says to increase the varnish. I would contact their support to see exactly how to do that in the PRINT EXT software.
Love your videos! Any tips on how to get my L1800 procolored DTF prints softer, not so plastic feel? Any settings or tips? Maybe ink levels ? Would appreciate the help! Thanks!
I spoke with Procolored last night and they said a new software is coming. not sure if that means a big update to PRO RIP or a new and different software altogether. I haven't found a way to make the ink "thinner" to give it a soft hand feel, but i can ask them about it. i think if the software had a "halftones" feature that would make the print extremely soft and use a lot less ink. a feature that can remove blacks (if printed on a black shirt) or remove white (if printed on a white shirt) would also improve the softness and save ink...but those features i have not seen on the current PRO RIP yet.
One thing I found that helps is using a different shirt for your second press instead of parchment paper or Teflon sheets increases the softness by allot
@@HaiTech any idea how to use the "Invaginate/Extend" function on Pro Rip, I’ve been haltoning a lot for my transfers, but I can see a white outline of ink around each dot, which then makes the haltoning look bad… any idea or clue how to fix this? "Invaginate/Extend" ?
i have mentioned to Procolored about half tones and color knockouts. hopefully they will have it in their PRO RIP in the near future. i have not used the invaginate/extend function on their software. do you have a white outline on every print or just when you try to do halftones? sorry for late response, youtube didn't notify me of your comment.
@HaiTech I really hope they add the features of color knockout (black or white) that helps make the prints not look like a iron on or have that white outline around the design
Awesome video. I purchased the DTF Pro, and on the combination window I only have 720x1440. Any idea how to make it 1440x1440? TIA
Good question. I’ll ask them and let you know. My UV DTF also is max out at 720x1440.
Procolored responded: "the main board is different, so resolution 720*1440 is the best"
It does very well with that resolution, but we want to push for more. Also, your ink settings are on point for the Pro. Thank you
How do you get your design to print within the lines? I have tried adjusting the letter size, moved the picture over to where it's off the grid, and margins. It still prints off the sheet. What are the proper margins?
which printer do you have? what size is your film sheet?
What setting is your white and color relation on for some reason my white hasn’t been printing
most of my settings i left the default settings. have you tried to manually pull the white ink with the syringe just to get fresh white ink flowing through the tubes?
Hi i have a question is there a setting for this software to print continuously and not stop halfway through the print
it should print continuously everything that you set it to print. for example if you printed 3 pictures of mario, it should print all 3 without stopping after the first mario. if it is not doing that you could possibly update the PRO RIP software
Why do I have a square surround my image? When I resize the image, it resizes it according to that invisible square around the image. How do I remove that square, if possible. And when I print the image, it prints on either the right side or the left side of the film. Please help if there’s a solution
the image will be printed depending on where you put it. so in PRO RIP if you have it towards the left, it will print towards the left of the film. the box is just for resizing reference. it won't show up when you print.
I have the same issue. I resize my image and when it prints it comes out small. There’s a huge gap between the red margins and the image.
It's because that's how the picture was saved. Think of it was a background even if the background was removed and it's not cropped down to the edges of the design its self it's gonna think all of that blank background is part of the pic. Make sense?
Crop the picture all the way to it's edges of the design
Thank you @tonycordovatc
How can i get the adjustment screen that pops up after pressing rip to come back. I think i accidentally pressed the never show again tab 🤦♂️
at the top of the PRO RIP software there's a widget icon. click it and there should be an option that says "popup print preview..."
On rip software have you ever had rip status failure and the paper light on machine blinks red?
i have not had rip status failure. i have had the lights blink red yes. i made a video on how to fix the red light blinking situation.
Also why can I find my resetter
contact procolored and they can send you a download link for your specific printer
When I click on the picture image there are no images to choose from. What am I doing wrong?
what type of files are your images? for best results they should be PNG format.
I printed a image with a person and the person looks super red what can I do on my computer they look normal color
try this video and look at their settings. see if it looks like what you have in your settings. th-cam.com/video/Sw9PFUHGhrM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=k-YY8X_V2LG_r4--
also, have you done a print head cleaning and nozzle check to make sure that no lines are missing?
With these settings do you have issues with full color prints cracking after a wash?
no i don't. are you using original ink and powder or aftermarket?
@@HaiTech yes I am using all original products. I’ve changed some colors to off white to help the ink from cracking but on full color prints with white in them that I can’t change they still crack after a wash
the crack is due to the adhesive powder. you're probably not adding enough. are you baking it a DTF oven? what heat settings are you using? i have not had this issue at all. i made a video on wash test and we've had fine details on a shirt that had over 10 washes with no cracking.
What color mode do you use on the advanced options in the settings?
i left everything as default and the color looks great. you could play around with it to see what it does to the colors.
@@HaiTech ok. Mine is printing all images good but it prints a red tint. Any advice?
nozzle check shows all print heads firing properly?
Can you please help me?! If i put the image in the middle and i do RIP it goes to the side. And the ink smudges because of it. Never had this problem but now i cant get any image printed. I try center button and marging but doesn't work. Before rip its fine but after not in the middle. Please help thank you
hi, i am not sure what is causing that. i would reach out to tech support and get on a video skype call with them
Yes its difficult because of the timing but thank you
I had the same problem but I resized the paper size on the software and it corrected it.
Question...if the box "never ask again" accidentally got clicked. Do you know of a way for that window to be visible again?
i'm not familiar with PC, i'm not sure.
Try going to advanced options.. preference then click the box saying pop-up printer driver dialog when click RIP
Does anybody white bleed the shirt color threw if so how do you fix it
you can check their FB group for help or contact their support. they're available after 6PM. M-F is what i was told. facebook.com/groups/194410629223200

Hello. Not sure what the problem could be but when i search for an image it looks like a nice quality image. But once i import it into the pro rip software, the image is quality noticeably worse. And if i print, it does not come out with good quality. Any suggestions what may be causing this?
how big is the image and how big is the print? sometimes an image may look big on the computer but because of the resolution is small it looks bad once it's printed.
@@HaiTech I have tried multiple size images and multiple size prints and they still look blurry. The images look super nice when I download them but when uploading into the software it becomes blurry.
what file format is the image or images?
@@HaiTech jpeg and pdf formats
Did you fixed it?? I have the same problem
My printer is only printing white and black please help
please refer to www.procolored.com/pages/supports-and-services scroll you'll be able to skype video call with them and they'll be able to walk you through the problem. thanks
I have imported a large image and it still look very bad. It is a PNG file looks perfect until I import to my rip software.. When I import it looks very choppy
The image that you're trying to print, what are the dimensions? how big are you wanting to print it?
I try to import mines it wont even come on the screen im about to give up
you can't import an image to print?
Oh wow do you have a video on this
sorry, i may not be understanding the problem. are you having a problem with importing an image or what seems to be the exact problem? Thanks!
there's also Procolored's help desk:
www.procolored.com/pages/warranty-policy. just scroll down to where it says "Need Additional Help". they'll be able to walk you through whatever problem you may have. they do video call as well.
My printer is only printing white any help?
have you tried a nozzle check to see if the color nozzles are clogged?
@@HaiTechyes I just got it two first print I did is just white no color shame
there's a way to accidentally turn the color printing off and it will just be a white under base. perhaps the setting is no correct. I would contact their Skype support so they'll be able to pin point exactly what the problem is. go to their website and go under Support > Services
Can you make a tutorial on how to turn purple to brighter color, not blue?
have you check the nozzle to see if any lines are broken?
Yes I have I see a broken line.what should I do?
Similar issue here. The purple color looks more blue.
I am having this issue I don't see no broken in the magenta
Do you know why my image is coming out of my film
the image is not staying on the film? it bleeds or runs off?
it's probably due to the cure setting. you see that number on the front of the printer? crank it up to 37 or 40
How do you import your logo/design png.file as high quality to the software ProRip. I’m new and having issues with every time I import an image it shows bad quality and print pixels.
i use Canva and Photoshop. if you have files that are SVG or PDF you can resize those in photoshop to any size you want. if you import an image that's large like 4K or 5K then your print will look great. if you need to shrink it a bit then it will even be better looking. now if you have a small image and you import it and then try to print something large, then the quality of the print will be terrible.
@@HaiTech Thank You, I will try it out this weekend. Does Canva resize high quality file?
@@HaiTech I notice ProRip software is only for printing only... Is there any software out there you can recommend that allows you to edit/create and print with Procolored DTF printer?
we personally use Adobe Photoshop and canva. for creating and editing those are the 2 that we use and have experience with.
