What printer do u recommend for UV DTF cup wraps?? Please help 🙏
You’re the only one to explain this so clearly. Even procolored doesn’t explain it
which one are you thinking of getting?
Thank you! Needed this information and so clear.
Thanks for the great information on the DTF system!
Very informative! Thank you! ❤❤
Good looking out on this video I just ordered the 1800, glad to know I made a good choice 💪
Glad I could help
very good info! ty :)
Thanks For the Information!
You bet!
Thanks for the info.
much appreciated
Well done Brother!
Thanks for this video, always really enjoy your DTF information as looking to upgrade from sublimation in the new year. Quick question, do you do any half toning with your prints?
i wanted to test half tones but the RIP software doesn't have that feature yet. As for printing half tones made through photoshop i have not yet tested. but to answer your question, No i have not printed half tones with the printer.
Most important to note is that the dx5 head is way faster. It's an 8 channel head and you can keep 2 channels for incase something goes wrong with the 2 whites an l1800 takes approx 15 minutes to print an A3......the dx5 heads prints approx 5 minutes -a3
Hello...honestly, last week I found out about this whole topic of DTF printers and at first I was interested in buying the L1800 but then I saw a lot of comments that the pro was better because it didn't get clogged...but as you said, it's simple, just that one is faster than the other and it is not worth spending on the most expensive one for a few minutes less...thanks for clarifying my doubt, now I know which one to buy👌🏻thanks i lot👋🏻
both the PRO and the L1800 can get clogged (white ink more easily) if not maintained and used daily.
Nice video, i currently own L1800 and dtf pro is on the way due to business growth
Keep it up!
Ill buy ur L1800 (:
@@omaralvarez3564 yes it’s available, 4 months old works well
Where u located bro
Hi do you recommend any other brand or procolored is the best one? thanks for share and inform people about this.
Greetings.
Procolored has been the only company that I have used personally. There is a printer by Roland as well. roland makes some good products but i have yet to use their DTF printers. the roland uses cartridge ink which tends to be more expensive than pouring in a bottle of ink.
Thanks.
How much does the replacement DTF inks differ from one brand to the next?
Are they all about the same quality?
i have never used 3rd party inks as they void the warranty of the printer. honestly, i would just stick with the manufacturer ink. the price difference shouldn't be that much. consumables like film and even dtf powder you could get away with using other brands.
Does the L1800 go with the shaker/oven all in one?
you can buy the shaker with it but i don't think theres a package for it on their website. there is a package for it with the DTF PRO
Can we use the heat press to cure the powder instead of the oven?
i havent tried but you probably could if you had a large heat press. the swing away type heat press. definitely worth a try. it just may not be as convenient or efficient for large production.
What if I ran 2 l1800 printer beside 1 big dual head procolored, will 2 be faster than one dual head?
I don't have a PRO model yet so i can't test this. I'll have to ask Procolored and get back to you.
What's the best printing technology to print face or picture of persons onto a T-shirt?
are you doing this for fun/hobby or professionally for money? if it's for fun then go with heat transfer paper. if it's professionally then go with DTF method.
Can you clarify if this printer can be used for UV DTF transfers. (No heat) I do not want to use it for fabric but for glass cups and hard material.
the printers in that video are only for fabric. you would need this printer in order to put designs on metal, plastic, hard surfaces: th-cam.com/video/ya6aCRxoA-Q/w-d-xo.html (UV DTF Sticker printer)
Do you have any Code discount if I purchase
yes, i have link in the description. click on it and it should auto apply the discount. or you can use code HAIANDTERRIE
Which one you recommend to buy from china or usa?
USA if available
am interested how do I get it
link in description
Is it worth for buying such a printer just to start your business with? Or are there cheapwr ways?
there are cheaper ways, heat transfer paper. lots of methods, but it depends on your budget and what you're planning to do. words only or graphics. custom or make your own designs.
Just got my L1800. I have a question about prints. The printer prints white behind the color but won't print white in the image. Do you have any tips?
when you're in the RIP software on the top right you'll see a tab for CMYK and W1, W2. are both White tabs there?
Yes both are there. When i click on the W1 or W2 the white in the image disappears, only showing the white under color. If I import an image in white it doesn't print at all. I see the white when the CMYK tab is checked but not when W1 or W2.@@HaiTech
th-cam.com/video/Sw9PFUHGhrM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=VHJ8mPUqZ3rwo-hI check this video on how to use the RIP software.
Hi, have you reached out to one of the reps? They have been super helpful with my questions.
Out of curiosity. Why didn't you touch on the green printer that was on the screen
older models
Actually I got the sheets and they do not come with an adapter whatsoever and the sheets always get jammed, also when you put more than one sheets, the sheets won’t even feed onto the printer. The newer version is only functional for roller only in my opinion.
which model did you buy? interesting, my L1800 came with roller and adapter for sheets. it was the previous model L1800 (no white ink circulator)
@@HaiTech I got the L1800 but they upgraded it so now it has no sheet feeder
When it comes to the quality that you get from using the L 1800 how many washes do you get before you start to see cracking in the images
i've had shirts ive printed back in february that still looks just as good as day 1! probably washed at least 15+ times
What is mean replacement head ?
the printer has what is called a "print head" which is where the ink comes out. after many many many prints you may need to replace the print head. the print head itself is pretty easy to replace.
Yo Great video!!! I appreciate your effort to make this video, I learned a lot. I'm planning on starting my business soon so you'll see me around.
awesome. what method of printing are you using now?
@@HaiTech I am using sublimation printing but I’m thinking on buying the 13" Single Head A3 DTF Printer Roller L1800 Panda Gen-1. For more variation you know…
nice, yes you will be able to scale your business. DTF can print on any color shirt. custom orders, no problem. a few things to know is the adhesive powder smells when you bake it. be sure to have plenty of ventillation and flowing air.
@@HaiTech alright, thank you! I really appreciate it man, that’s good to know. ✊🏾
Have you seen the new gen 2? L1800.
i have not used it personally. I have the latest L805 model. it's been sitting on my floor for a few weeks now. I will try to set it up and see how it works soon!
@@HaiTech Thanks! Pls make a video about It comparing to the old version.
print head for 1800 and 1390 is the same. print speed for 1390 is slightly faster than 1800
interesting
Hello, can you convert the Procolored R1390 to a L1800
good question. i'm not sure. i'll have to ask
procolored said you can not convert the print head as the main board is different.
How is their customers service if something goes wrong
they have a phone number, an email, and a live video chat through skype. they are based in China so i believe they said the customer service can be reached after 6pm. i forgot to ask if that was eastern/central/western time.
The curing oven is a nightmare! Can’t get it to cure. All my prints never stick
Really? What brand of adhesive powder and ink are you using
