Hard to believe Liam was only 23/24 there. This might be my fave live version of this song. I love that freaking solo. It made me wanna pick up a guitar. Noel’s songwriting is so underrated. His touch, feel, lyrical prowess……all impeccable. Add Liam’s growl and u got a winner. As Liam said a few years ago, “we should still be playing there right now.” Hard to believe over 4Mill people wanted tickets. What a rocket ride!
@@jasonq111 yess!! Some people criticize Noel’s lyrics because they are very abstract. But because of that you can apply it on yourself. It becomes your song in a sense.
@@casperoomen9111 Noel always said his lyrics were “nonsensical” but I think he put way more thought into them than what he admits bc some of the songs say a lot. There is a definite message and they are about “something”. He’s an incredible lyricist, IMHO. Impeccable songwriter.
