They made it pretty heavy. John would love.
I doubt it. These guys steamrolled all the nuances of the song and bashed through it. Poetic justice that John wrote it as a jibe to all the lyric-sleuths out there. "Let the fuckers work this one out" he said about it. It was an ironic nonsense song--Oasis made themselves an ironic nonsense band doing it like this (and much of their other stuff) and the irony clearly lost on them.
Very hard song to sing in its timings and complexities...
Liam does it justice and it shows his measure as a vocalist...
