Tbh meze don't really need a dac/amp, just an apple dongle is enough. I have the 99 classics, they do respond to DACs but don't scale as well compared to a pair of sennheisers for example

From experience, Grados are also pretty efficient and you can drive them off of any dongle dac including the apple dongle.
Agreed, but that would not bring out the best in the Headphones.
On a side note, you can even start recommending albums to enjoy music. Might be helpful for someone like me who is just starting

We feel that the FiiO Q3 + Hifiman HE400SE don't synergise as well as the other setups we mention in the video.

HE 400se's cable is worser than a 20 dollar iem and its a Russian roulette with their quality control.
