@@tomekrodaczek i just threw out my 1 piece aluminium lian li that was that old one with the mainboard backplate facing up at the top , i probally should have kept it, prob like 1k if they sold it today
I for one are moving my SFF build into this case. I keep hearing YT reviewers say "I don't know why anyone would use a ITX board in this case" Well, it's pretty simple, I already have it and Lian Li designed the case for either form factor. This also has a lot more GPU options then my TU150 which saves me more money. Anyway, still and good review Tom!
@@Mr.McWatson I wouldn't worry about that to much. I'm sure there will be all kinds of options in the near future/like optional mesh, distro plates etc.
The psu can also mount to the ssd bracket with the psu exhaust facing the front with the offsets they include. Then the connectors face towards the mobo. Handy for short sfx cables and also more options is always good.
Hey, Tom. Are you related to HUB's [Hardware UnBoxed] Steve? He revealed today his shed and love of white builds. 😆 No, well, you still came to mind, along with how much I miss those shed days, cos I'm a simple fella like that 😉
Im kind of back in a shed now! I do like white but the mainstream side of cases ect now has me wanting to be a bit braver (Ive got a cool build thats not white brewing)
It's not a complicated case IMO, I'd describe it as very versatile rather than complicated, lots of options for cooling and hardware. It's fantastic value for what you get and the build quality is very good . . . I'm just about to order another in white and have a black one with an MSI B450M Mortar Max, 5600X, Noctua NH-U12S, RX 6600 and Corsair 750W SFX PSU. Virtually silent whilst 1080P gaming and totally silent when web browsing or for general PC use. I think it's brilliant.
Looks a nice case for Matx setup. Because the airflow is vertical would an aio be better than tower cooler for efficiency? Which case have you reviewed which offers smaller foot print for Matx setup? Thanks for reviewing 👍
Why only 140mm ATX PSU? Looks like there should be room for a 150-160mm at the brackets highest position? Would be great if we could get confirmation please.
I've watched all the A3 reviews on TH-cam this week and noticed the CPU temps in this case aren't the best , my nr200p temps are better . My main concern is that almost all of the reviews on this case were using AIO's and nothing was mentioned about Air cooler size capacity nor anything mentioned about pump reservoir capacity and location . . Guess I'll have to wait until someone will post a custom loop build with better temps , then I'll make my decision if it's worth buying . I kinda like the case and yes it looks almost like the NR200P but bigger but I think an sfx psu shroud would be a better choice for better clearance and with the psu fan being set against the side mesh for fresh air intake to psu and exhausting hot air to the top would give us better temps and more room to add a pump res for a custom loop.
This video seems a bit rushed; definitely not one of your better efforts, unfortunately. Do the bottom fans block the bottom slot on mATX boards? Does the GPU support bracket wrap around a bottom fan? How big an air cooler does it support? Or is this aimed at AIO cooling only?
It almost looks as though that front panel is a stand in for a Fractal Northesque mesh and wood panel. That and the power supply mount are defo Lian Li fumbling their balls. And I thought the Fractal wood look "meh!". I like the majority of the Dan, but I'd have to get creative with the front.
What is the Amperage rating of the internal power cord supplied with this case? I wouldn't want to melt the power cable with a high wattage power supply.
Wait, fans in the base are blowing directly into GPU fans blowing the opposite direction. When will GPU manufacturers start blowing their hot air UP instead of down?
Wow 20 years in I.T. and I never realised! I assumed the exhausted heat away. I'm sure my old GPU fans did, like matrox and voodoo 3dfx days. Thanks for the schooling.
the side panel mech looks better, case manifactures, please make some ATX cases with solid or mesh side panels, not everyone loves the look of the gay microwave PC cases
" 2.5" Hard drives SSDs whatever you want to call it" ... bruh. HDD is the 3.5" ones. The 2.5" ones are SSD. technically you can still buy 2.5" HDD but obviously no one is doing that. So its not "whatever you want to call it" call them what they are and dont confuse new people. Terminology matters in communication. SSDs do not have disks in them like HDDs.
The plastic front makes it look like 50$ case. Doesn`t oooze the usual Lian Li quality.imho.
I wish that they will return to full aluminium cases one day...

but still better than the glass.
To be fair.... Its $70
just the person i love seeing review a case im considering.

Are you air cooling? I'm thinking of building in this but the solid front panel is giving me pause.

So glad you're still doing well Tom! Our sample of the SP850 is noisy as hell too.
Mine has been fine and its not had an easy life at all :/
Odd there's no vents at front. You would think you would want to have the psu pull I. Cool air.
I think if you mount it on the side panel you can turn it to pull in air through the mesh panel

I am going to buy a black case. Try to fit it with 2x360mm 25mm rads. And soft tubing for my current build :)
Why is it impossible to buy the glass window for this case?

Its the sizes they gave in the reviewers guide..... :/
@@OC3D Looks like >150mm is supported with compromises. Nice case and review!

That rotating mount is good for deeping chips lol hahaha

There was an MATX board fitted with bottom fans fitted in the video....
I didnt get send the GPU bracket so I cant comment on its fitment

so would a msi RTX 4070ti fit in this?
I would go for the jonsbo d31. It's 60 euros here in Holland. Keep up the great work bro and stay safe.
Thanks Guv, not my cup of tea but not too bad of a case for all that.

I dont think that will be a concern at all.
Will it fit in be quiet dark rock pro 5?
Can i put a 2x8 strimer cables for the gpu?
Can it still be inverted?
when the case out?
available on OCUK now
nice vid of the asus prime , oh ewait ..
Wait, fans in the base are blowing directly into GPU fans blowing the opposite direction. When will GPU manufacturers start blowing their hot air UP instead of down?
Mate the gpu fans do blow up, they don’t exhaust heat from the gpu they blow into the aluminum fin stacks
I hope you're joking
