Why have you shown everything but the crash? This is like the opposite of what a highlight reel is for. Especially when happened in such a strange place of the course.
Highlight reels are meant to show resulst and how it happend (for sure sport highlights) if you wanna see peoole breaking bones i reccomend going to a hospital. Thanks for supporting the sport
Never did I say I wanted to see the people hurt. Simply that was the defining moment of race. It literally made national news and they aren't even showing the cause. There's this amazing thing called editing where you can cut clips so can show the cause but not the effect. This hardly mentioned it. Highlights are meant to be highlights of the race so the key moments that if people were telling you about it would include. Which absolutely means the winners and all but it equally means anything that happens that is noteworthy and stands out from the rest. I simply want to see how it happened because as someone who's a fan of the sport the news articles made sound like was pure stupidity and I suspect is more to it, yet I can't tell because the highlights don't tell me anything about it @@PapaTongo-u8i
Hi there! I've just seen this, so sorry for the slow reply. We generally have a default policy of not showing crashes. If the riders are fine, we'll look again and can post it. Also, you're right, where it's a race-defining moment, we try to show it as well. However, this one was pretty brutal, with some bad outcomes for riders, and I just didn't have a camera angle that wasn't bad. I make the final call on the edit (so I'll take the blame), and I just made the decision not to include this one. That said, I'll have a look at how we can effectively 'show the news' in any similar situations going forward. It's important to get it right and I know I won't always! Thanks for watching though - I really appreciate the support. ^Owen
@@monument_hq hiya. I appreciate that as last thing want is for the Riders suffering to be turned into entertainment. I have just seen more and more races recently where crashes even if lead to a Withdrawl have been shown at least until control is lost but totally get why the policy exists.
