Being a mother was the happiest and most rewarding thing I've done with my life. If your child knows how much you love being their mother and that they're not robbing you of some other happiness, then they will love you greatly. You'll do great! The first few weeks can feel scary to a new parent...once the baby starts smiling back at you the real good stuff begins!!!

Enjoy every second of this new adventure. Best advise I ever got. "Sleep when baby sleeps. The house and chores can wait". There will ALWAYS be housework. Those precious times with him will not wait. They change SO quickly......and we all know that babies grow when they are kissed and snuggled!!!

I had our daughter 4 months ago and seeing you on a similar path as I was, even with the eating disorder and struggling to love your body. You have NO idea how happy I am that you are not putting expectations on yourself as you adjust to embracing motherhood fully. There will be so many ups and downs, but I promise after all is said and done....having your little one in your arms is soooo worth it

Your videos have helped me SO much. I've grown so much from them. I watched them while waiting in the car line for picking my daughter up from school. I took a pad and pen with me and took notes. I added all these notes to a special place in my journal that I reference when I doubt myself. I can't express how thankful I am that I stumbled across your channel. This hits in an unexpected way. I've opened TH-cam to find some comfort after having said goodbye to my beloved dog yesterday. Seeing another goodbye that happens because of new and wonderful things causes a difficult to describe feeling that's somehow comforting.
