The eastern border of Romania is the Prut river and the Black Sea ! Don't stop at Maramureș, have the "courage" to cross the eastern Carpathian mountains to reach the east of the country in the region of Moldova and Dobrogea. You will discover that the taste of food also changes from one region to another crossing the country. 😉✌️
I'm Polish, watching this, thinking: "half of this sh*t looks suspiciously Polish". Now I must go to Romania to inspect the goods for myself. Btw. the food looks banging!!
As a "székely" (hungarian minority in Romania), I can confirm, that most of these dishes are quite common in eastern Europe. The only 100% romanian food is the "mititei" or "mici", meaning the little ones, which has an unmistakeable flavour. I travelled a lot in Europe, but I never ever tasted similar to those tiny mini-meats, and I missed them a lot, because they are tasty as hell 😂
Sarmale - are these cabbage meat filled roles also wrapped in vine leaves as depicted in Romania? I am visiting Romania later this year so I want an authentic experience.
You can have them in cabbage leaves, or in wine leaves, or even in other kind of leaves. But usually in restaurants you have the cabbage ones, I only had sarmale in vine leaves in a restaurant in a seaside resort.
Also much of the images do not correspond to the real products. But anyway on thing is to see, another thing is to try the food from Romania wich is delicious
You are pronouncing incorrectly the food names! Nobody will understand you in Romania what food you want, if you will call it in this way :) You could at least listen in Goolge Translate how sounds these names before making this video.

Mamaliga is pollenta.
Overall good
Polenta este italiana si se prepara altfel decat mamaliga. Si faina este mai fina la polenta. Mamaliga e mamaliga! Doar strainii le amesteca...
Thanks

You didn't pronounce any name correctly. If I didn't see the products, I wouldn't know what you mean.
It’s AI. 😢
@@Bogdan.Patrascu Daca era A.I. ar fi pronuntat corect in romana. Trebuia doar sa-i fie specificata limba.
One of those was grape leaves, not cabbage rolls.
