I think they both have good plot points
I speculate that there has been several wars throughout the pokemon world (games only). The most recent war being the one mentioned in Gen1 by the great Lt. Surge, while the Kalos war seems to date back further. Unova may have been in that same war but entered that war later in the conflict.
Pokémon Platinum added Pokémon like Ralts in the Regional PokéDex. Too bad the Manaphy giveaway events are for DP, but it is neat you can mark the Pokémon as seen in a mansion.

Honestly feel like the Kalos war was with a Nordic region .. Switzerland, Sweden, Netherlands. One of those tbh.

Enough time would have passed for that to be possible except I don't believe Lumiose City or a form of it existed at the time of the war.
i never really felt anything for the lore of Kalos. Regions like Hoenn, Sinnoh and Unova were interesting. But Kalos never impressed me. I do think they made the right call not having Legends ZA set in the war time. Pretty sure its too dark to depict war in pokemon games and to see people and pokemon die in the games. Sure there are some dark tones in pokemon games but nothing too graphic and direct.
"Paldea" can mean "education", similar to "Galar" that can mean "disease". It is better to make the other regions Japanese. After all, there are characters who would speak in Kansai dialect in regions based on different countries that are never related to Japan.
I don't know about all that.
@@therealdrogane I know Ma-shu speaks it, and she is a Kalos Gym Leader who uses Fairy-type Pokémon. Kotone mentions "Jouto dialect" in even the Pokémon Masters EX English version. I highly doubt it is called that in the core games.

I guess the Ultimate Weapon would be Pokémon’s Equivalent of a Weapon of Mass Destruction (WMD) also the Humans of the Pokémon World could’ve gone the other way (like the humans of this world) and worked to build WMD’s to ensure Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) as a future form of Deterrence.

I think the hedges were meant to be "easter eggs" to king Louis the XVI's title as the sun king. Solrock is the sun, Pyroar the king and Chandelure opulance/nobility. The last one i do not know maybe we will figure it out in Z-A or maybe we wont.

Playing ORAS for the first time, but I couldn't help but feel the representation of water and Milotic needs more depth than it's getting, especially in relation to Hoenn. If I find any reason, I'll bring it up, but it's striking that 2 Hoenn first Pokemon are here. Additionally, Milotic seems like a shrine dedicated to the 'beauty' that the war was fought over to me too. Anyone have any thoughts?
I did consider that but there was not enough evidence for me to pursue it further.

Greetings this is vice admin Doug of security responding to today's transmission from our beloved leader Drogane about the history of Kalos and the great Kalos war and I gotta say this was a very interesting and entertaining history documentary that really allows you to see the past in a new light and The discoveries that we will learn from the upcoming mission Legends ZA will help us learn more about Kalos do I think we'll learn more about the war maybe but I don't think we will learn much about it during this adventure but I could be wrong and about AZ specifically I kinda have mixed feelings about him on one hand as Drogane said he did annihilate both his side and his opponents side with the ultimate weapon but on the other hand he did show remorse for the death he had brought upon the planet he even hide the key so maybe he has a chance of redemption but anyways I think this response has been going on long enough so I'm saying off here. As always thank you Drogane for the awesome video as always, and of course, I hope everyone has a long and happy life and I wish you all prosperity
