I'm glad you included Èze in this. For anyone that plans to go to the south of France, it is my favorite town whenever I am down there. It's a small town that is up a hill overlooking Monaco, as Lexie stated, but what you must know is that there is a Cactus garden at the top of it that has an amazing view and all in all it's one of my favorite places in the world. If you are in the area, don't miss out on it.
My absolute favorites after living four years in the riviera are : nice, cannes (+ lerins islands), monaco (everything + larvotto beach), villefranche-sur-mer (beach + view from above), cap ferrat (paloma beach + harbor), cap d'ail (mala beach), antibes and cap d'antibes (harbor, la gravette beach, la garoupe beach, les ondes beach, bay of billionaires from above), juan-les-pins, théoule-sur-mer (beach + corniche d'or), menton (sablettes beach + you can walk to italian beaches), eze (beach + view from the village), roquebrune (view from the village), st-tropez by boat, ramatuelle's private beaches, and every coastal path + old town you can do everywhere you go ;)

Travel by train, the most efficient mode of travel throughout France. Regional trains connect many cities and towns. Slower than the TGV high-speed trains, these make many more stops but are still a dependable way to get around the South of France.

The price from Nice - Monaco via train is €5.80 or from aeroport terminal 2 and getting the bus 80 going to mention costs €19.80. Monaco is amazing there are so many museums, exhibitions ,concerts, shows and events as well as 9 districts of Monaco to explore!

However I must say your video was by far the most helpful you have answered so many of my questions in this one video (like where I should stay if I want to visit multiple places along the French Riviera), thank you so much! I'm so bummed I only have 6 days on the French Riviera this July because after watching this video I'd really love to see both Provence and Cote d'Azur! Is it possible to do both Eze and Menton in a one day trip from Nice? Also do I have to book tickets to see the Villa on Cap-Ferret in advance and is Paloma beach open to the public? Where did you rent a car from in Nice? And lastly do you think it would be possible to visit the Calanque d'En-Vau if we were staying in Nice or even to Verdon Gorges? (Sorry for all the questions)

The national park and Verdon Gorge looked amazing! Just walking around pedestrian zones in European cities is awesome. It all looked so neat, can't wait to travel to France.
The scenic road in Verdon gorges is beautiful, but the best way to discover the gorges is by hiking! There are incredible hiking paths all the way. But also avoid July and August there.
For me Antibes will alays be the best city in this region. It's home for me as I lived there for a long time and I feel it doesn't get the love it deserves. You have a little of everything there. Hikes, beaches, history, culture, food, nightlife. All if it. There's nothing like Antibes to me
I think of Hannibal! And also that artist collective on the Italian side in a castle on a hill (look it up!). We've got identical water fountains in Tbilisi (not Batumi, even the old city), but they are dry now for some reason, with only the more recent early-20th century fountains in the parks working.

I would strongly recommend checking out the "Esterel Côte d'Azur" region which is located in between Cannes and St Tropez. It's often forgotten about and it includes some stunning coastlines like the Corniche d'Or near Saint-Raphaël, perched mountain villages like Fayence, Callian & Montauroux and some lovely beaches like Agay, Saint Aygulf & Le Dramont

I would also add walking the chemin de Nietzsche from the train station to the town. Amazing views as you walk up the hill.

I was in Cannes for the film festival this year! It was in July this year due to COVID, but as you said in this video it is usually in May.
