I know it’s just your point of view but I would really like to encourage people to visit other parts in Germany besides Bavaria. Germany has so much more to offer but most of the time people only think of Bavaria when talking about Germany...

I just love your comment on Swedish people in the winter. I moved to southern Germany from the south of Sweden almost 15 years ago due to the dark winters. And you are correct about the beer gardens in Munich. But the Oktoberfest you visited in Munich is mostly for tourists, so you should try out Wasen in Stuttgart; more Germans, even if the people in Bavaria would say that this is different from the original. There they celebrate both in spring as in autumn. Funny fact is that I live just 5 km from Rotenburg.
All Nordic countries like to ”borrow” things from each other’s cultures to sell to tourists. If you want to see mountains and anything viking, go to Norway, if you want hippy cities, go to Sweden or Denmark, if you want a have a sauna and see the most snow, go to Finland and if you want crazy natural phenomenons and Icelandic horses, go to Iceland. Using the Sami culture to market the whole country is also really popular. The Sweden recommendations were really all of the Nordics put under the Swedish flag.
@@Whipiih Can de since she has or used to have a Swedish boyfriend. But If you listen, she said something that almost nobody will see in Sweden, the Christmas dinner at a Swedish family. What is important to say as well as the people going for Midsummer in Sweden. Dancing is common in every small village, but dinner is only for families at home.
Somehow Czech Republic is always left out in those lists! Even though it has both amazing historic cities and beautiful nature, one of the biggest number of castles, it’s still not so crowded with tourists like other main european cities and it’s really cheap for most western travelers!
Europe is a special place, with a culture and history that is unlike any other. And Im so excited to visit Pitcairn Islands who only has 48 population, It is sound amazing!!!!😍
As of this year, you can no longer swim in Krka national park. For me, it wasn't really worth the trip or price anymore. But Plitvice is amazing even without swimming!

Hi Lexie, this is the best vlog on Europe I have come across so far and the way you have narrated the whole blog makes the viewer feel as if he is in the same place !
Lexie dont do me like this, how are you not including my home country Portugal! we have the coolest spots, beautiful coast, amazing food, great culture to share all for the cheapest prices!
I understand that it might not look as aesthetically pleasing but I suggest showing the names of everything you mention on video (not just the countries but the towns and everything else since it would be easier to find them when doing our own research). Great video nonetheless
I'm leaving in Estonia at the moment and is beautiful country especially if you like forests and lakes but I like to think the world is my home and evrey country is just another room in my house! in 2 weeks i will go to another room for study in Edinburgh 😅
As an Austrian it seems so strange to me that you liked the food in Germany, and I definitely think that the Oktoberfest is overrated amongst foreigners, especially regarding all the other great things you show in your videos 😅 I've only been to Hamburg and Munich in Germany and never to Italy or Slovenia, I should visit our neighbors as well sometime, thanks for the recommendations!
Correct, well spotted ! I've been there, love Luxembourg (especially Esch-sur-Sûre, Vianden, Troisvierges) but I'm not a fan of the Mudam itself, but I enjoyed the Musée de la Ville
I am so glad to see that Slovenia as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina are both on your list. I went to both of them back in 2017, and I loved both of them. I would strongly recommend checking out Sarajevo too if you have not already. It is very beautiful city with a lot of great history, and it has a huge mix of cultures and religions with a great combination of Central European and Islamic architecture. I might be planning a trip to Europe in a couple months, and I really want to check out Serbia and Albania. I also want to visit Portugal too! Awesome video, Lexie! This is giving me more of a case for wanderlust!
I was born in Germany due my father being in the military, so I truly thank you for the wonderful recommendations! I can't wait to see the next video coming up!😁👍❤
Great video. The images of Spain were far from the best ones. We have, as you mention about Italy, a Hugh variety of completely different places within the country. From the mountains of the north, with a lot of forest, the center of Spain, plenty of castles and ancient cities, or the great beaches of the Mediterranean coast. We are a country with a lot of culture, history, party, beaches, and a wonderful food. 🇪🇸
I wonder how most people cover the expenses for their wanderlust, I know a couple of people are just gonna bottle up their desire for travel adventure because they can't afford to.

Hey Lexie! Love to see you enjoying Germany! But i would recommend you to visit other parts of Germany too. The country has so much different regions, Bavaria isnt representative for any of them. And some regions, not to say every other ones, are pretty tired of other countries referring to bavaria as the representative part of germany. Its such a different culture in every part of Germany (and such different styles of beer and bread and other distinct forms of german food as well). I would suggest you to travel across the the coast of the northern sea and the baltic sea, maybe from west to east.
