Front Mission 3 the best game of my childhood and I`v played this again adult via emulator on my PC, that`s still feels awesome! Totally recommend to try!
Started with FM4 in a time where my memory got snafu so I had to kept the PS2 turn on to finish it all at once, it lasted like 2 days. I remember sleeping with Lock and Load OST in back, lol.

Fm 1, 3 and 5 are the best. 3 being the most amazing and 5 after that. The new ones lack any and all passion that we saw from the earlier titles, sadly.
This is the one series where I would place a tremendous amount of expectations for remakes. 5 is basically the last good FM Square Enix ever made, Evolved gameplay is okay, needs work but okay, but Jesus the plot is absolutely horrible. As a fan of the 5th, I do hope that the remake is at least 60+ gb. That Walter and Lynn subplot needs more screen time and that somewhat PG13, censored make out scene is just not fitting. Also, would like to see Glenn's S-Type surgery and his later descend to mind control. I've been experimenting and abusing the pnach quite a lot and found that yes, we can actually use Boss weapons for starter setups. Invisible and cannons wouldn't even animate attacks but their damage is hilariously OP if leveled up to rank 13. Like Morgan's Kouten quad cannon and Glenn's Brutal Wolf shoulder cannon for example. If it is going to be remaked, I want to be able to use that bad boy Dire and Brutal Wolf lmao. I like Frost's design but its stats are fucked, so is Vyzov, awesome stats, awful design. Glen's Zenith is great design-wise but that stats and defense ain't getting you to Cambodia, let alone Alaska and Outer Rim levels. Them Enyos are gonna make you into breakfast
So I played only Front Mission 3... And from it list it seems that this is the only decent game in this series. And by decent i mean awesome, of course.
I honestly don't like the look of the remakes, I hope they get FM3 right. I remember when I bought Front Mission for the PS2 and felt something was lost between generations.
You're in for a disappointment. FM3 remake demo footage is out and it's not remotely decent just like the other remakes. Or You've probably seen it by now

なんか…時代を追うごとに迫力が無くなると言うか、グラフィックがショボくなってる。映像技術は上がってるはずなのに、これじゃない感がすごい。特にRemake. もっと気合い入れて作れや。
