Most of our camper tours are real use - not just showroom floor. We couldn’t find that while we were looking, so wanted to provide that for others. Glad to hear it’s appreciated
I watched this video months ago and when you mentioned outdoor kitchen I looked into other models that Flagstaff has and found the 25BSDS. I put in an order for a 2024 yesterday and I cannot wait till it arrives. Glad to hear you have no issue towing with your Tundra as I also have a Tundra. Different layout but I think it'll tow it just fine.
+@GaryCriswell We miss our outdoor kitchen, but the huge kitchen inside and the larger fridge make up for it. Congratulations on your new unit! We have zero issue with the Tundra SR5, but the TRD’s have less of a payload capacity.
Thank you So much for this video! My husband and I have been saving for 3 years for our first camper and you guys helped us find the perfect one for us!!! We found a brand new 2022 at a dealership after watching your video. And I have been a little worried about the model year and things I’ve heard about “quality after Covid”. But you have reassured us that we are making the right choice! Thank you thank you! Keep up the great videos! ❤
That makes doing this all worth while! Just when we question if all of this work is worth it, someone makes a comment such as this that sparks the fire again- so it’s our turn to thank you! ❤️. ~ Kevin & Amy
I do it more than I care to admit. Kevin has learned to jump in when I pause. In one video I was talking about the place we were going kayaking the next day and blanked on the name of it. It was the whole reason we were at that campground! Thanks for letting me know I’m not alone! 💗
Love it. Starting to make think about the camper for where I will retire. We have a StarCraft for here in the Finger Lakes. But, tbh, we need a bigger truck. Thanks for sharing.
Great u guys are a HOOT!!! luv your out takes, real people on the road. nice job going over the camper. First time watching you guys, I think I will thumbs up and subscribe. Great job - Luv it
+Len Miles Thank you, Len for your kind words. That was the whole point. When we were shopping for one, we couldn’t find a video that was lived in. We even reached out to the owners forum for suggestions on how to best use the space and got very little feedback. We appreciate you noticing!
The kitchen is what sold us! That and the space to dress in the bedroom. After a year of owning it, there isn’t much we would change. It’s perfect for us (couples camper).
We have the 2022 micro lite 25 FKS , we also have two outlets for dumping. I went on Amazon and purchased a Y connection. I screw on my 90 to the station and attach my Y to the 90 and added another hose to the Y and the rear hose to the Y . Now I just pull my handles and good to go . I have a large tote just for the two hoses and bridges.
We have a 2017 Flagstaff 832IKBS which we love. We have the swing up cover for the front window which I like because it shades the window when open. After 30K miles, it has held up well. There is no perfect RV, just have to check as many boxes as you can. Enjoy your trailer!
Thanks! Glad to hear you are still loving yours. Ours has a pull down blind on the inside, but haven't wanted to buy a cover for the window for the outside yet because it's pricy. Thanks for watching!
I'm looking at a 2023 I don't like the fridge and sink on the 2024 video is much appreciated because most dealerships won't give info right..... happy camping guys
That’s great. We don’t know the specs on your model but we have had ours loaded way over tongue weight with kayaks and it still did ok, although we went a little slower. Enjoy your new camper!
congrats , we have the rockwood 2608bs which basically is the same floor plan with the dinette . we love it . especially the front window. we always pick sites with a good view from the front. God bless
We rarely spend time inside other than to sleep so opted to go without the dinette. We love ours too. Such a huge quality upgrade from our old Avenger. Thanks for commenting. God Bless you as well.
we needed the extra room, i do a lot with the dinette like invite others to eat with us when we group camp with family and i do things on my laptop, but mostly b/c we also have 4 boston terriers who need a place to sit. lol. with 2 slides and having all that room in less than 30 feet feels very comfortable. the blessing for us is that we bought it right before the big price hike in 2021@@AlignmentCoaching
This is a very nice model and I hope it works well for you! The big misses for us are the bed slide, the bathroom setup, and the front slide interior options. The 25FKB/2506S is a better fit for our needs and is lighter because of the slide and rear entry situation. We can get along fine without the "full" queen in order to gain extra storage and the outdoor kitchen. The pass through bathroom is a h-no. We prefer the large U-shaped dinette rather than the recliner. We also prefer the darker cabinet option over the all light (we had all light in a previous unit) as you get a beautiful contrast. We love the Rockwood/Flagstaff build quality for sure! We highly recommend those interested in this line to watch Josh's factory visit to see the differences over other manufacturers. Cheers and safe travels!
We love Josh! Each camper has it's own Pros & cons. Our old camper was all dark wood and had a HUGE bathroom, so this one is less than ideal for us as well. It does get the job done and we don't shower in it that often. We really wish that this had an outdoor kitchen, and would gladly exchange the second entry for it. This unit is excellent for "Road mode" though. We love our unit! Thanks for all of your insight. Safe travels to you.
That’s a nice floor plan! There’s nothing I dislike about it! Beautiful! I got a 2021 Gulfstream 6320 class C and we love it, ordered it. , but man when I see what you got it kinda makes me wanna get what ya got and buy a real good 3/4 ton truck. Coach is paid for so no bank dealing , just gotta find what you’ve got. Beautiful!
We highly recommend it. The shower is a little snug for elbow space, but otherwise it is extremely comfortable and spacious. We hope you find the perfect unit! ❤️
We have the 2516s and we’re also skeptical about the utility of having two doors, until we got a site the reverse slope of the one in your video. No matter the front/ back slope, one or the other steps has always been able to adjust to the ground. If the nose is nearly on the ground to level the rig, carrying a booster step would be of no help. Also, we have on a couple of occasions been assigned a KOA site (one night stops at a Journey pull through) that had a cement “patio” that was too high to use the front steps.
We always thought we wanted the solid steps, but now don’t care for them. This past weekend we were on a muddy site and had to put pieces of wood under the legs because they were sinking in the ground. Maybe if they put one set of foldable and one set of More ride steps? We had to build the step just to park in our driveway because the stairs don’t reach the ground otherwise. Overall love the rig though. Thanks for watching and commenting!
We have the sister 2019 Rockwood 2608SB which is same camper except it’s has the wardrobe slide not bed slide. Love it and my 1/2 ton ram pulls it fine. Better now with airbags I put on.
That was the other model we were considering. In the end, the kitchen was what swayed us. Our 1/2 Tundra also has no trouble towing it. They are a good quality product. Thanks for watching and sharing. ❤️ Kevin & Amy
@@CampingCompanions our kitchen is in the front also …same layout except wardrobe slide and u have a extra pantry in bathroom. And our fridge is next to entry door. But…I’ve got extra outside storage that u don’t and cabinets above dinette and above recliners ….
Could u plz do a tour video of the 2025 Rockwood Mini Lite 2516s. U do an excellent job showing everyone the layout and fixtures. U can't hardly find anyone talking about the new 2025 Rockwood 2516s
Ours is a 2022 and does have a stereo head unit but I believe they did away with those in ‘23-‘24 and integrated it into the television. You should be able to use the TV to play music but I’m not 100% positive on that. Just positive that they incorporated the two.
We have this same camper, had it out for it's maiden run in July. Ran totally out of power, ended up buying a generator. I still love it, but am a little more realistic in what to expect if we are in a rustic sight.
Yes, not sure why the solar thing for rv's are being promoted so much. The whole roof would have to be solar for it to be useful/practical (just my opinion). Mine has a connection for some, but will most likely not get any. If you're boondocking, especially in the mountains around trees, solar is a moot point. 2200watt generator is the way to go.
Not so much on the good people part, shady character a real grifter, but that's just my evaluation. This was an excellent video, you and your wife knocked it out of the park. Nice camper, I hope you two have many enjoyable outings in it. Thank You@@CampingCompanions
@@FDeny Thank you for that information ! It seems to be an opinion held by many. We only know him from the comments on our video. Thank you so much for the kind words. Sometimes we feel like we have more bloopers than footage but we laugh a lot. We don’t take ourselves too seriously and try to have fun. Not everyone comments when there is something good. We usually only hear from couch critics- so we appreciate hearing from you!
My pleasure. I'm going to subscribe after I click the reply button. Loved the bloopers, and looking forward to watching your old travels as well as future adventures.@@CampingCompanions
I love Rockwoods. I’m on my 4th Rockwood. Since you said you’re towing this front kitchen trailer (they are tongue-heavy) with a Tundra, have you taken your setup to a CAT scale to make sure you aren’t exceeding the Tundra’s GVWR?
@@CampingCompanions But have you actually weighed it? I read somewhere that your Tundra has a payload rating of around 1800#, which seems quite high for a Tundra, but if that’s correct you are probably under its GVWR when hitched up and ready to go camping. Best to be safe and not use up any of the safety factor that the engineers give you in their design.
I own a Flagstaff Shamrock hybrid (23ikss). The Showmizer is a genius invention for boondocking and it was nice to see that the ample, inside storage is still available in your model too. That was a big selling point for the wife too. Flaggstaff/Rockwood/Forrest river, seems to really research primary needs of RVer's. Agree on questionable electrical hook up...around water?! RV's are never gonna be 100%. "They say" Just as long 80% is what you want, then its pretty much an RV for you. 👍 Great Find!
Nice walk through, we have a 2022 flagstaff 25FKS . I have a question for you guys , do you have any front windshield condensation dripping when the weather is cold ? We have the same front kitchen as you . The water will run down the front windshield on the inside and gathers on the black trim . TYIA
@@CampingCompanions yup! Hopefully better than last years crappy weather. We also went for our first trip a couple weekends ago and ended up in a spot without electricity so hopefully this camping season gets a little better
@@Chizzly_briz We went to Red Rock RV resort at the beginning of May and TOTALLY lucked out with the weather. Better then that it has been over the last few days.
Love this unit! What do you substitute for no dinette? I agree the table looks like a pain in the neck? Are you using TV trays? If so, where do you store them?
+Ruth Marconi We rarely eat inside, choosing the picnic table outside instead. If we need to eat inside, we use our King Camp table which is really light and folds down to store in the tall storage behind the fridge. To see the table we have click here: amzn.to/443jIig
Nice job on showing the key features of the trailer. Been looking at a new 2024 model 2515S. Love the size of the fireplace. I've heard mixed thoughts on whether the dinette is better to have for a couples trailer?
+@ozcman9034 The dinette set up is a personal preference. We rarely eat inside the camper, so having one doesn’t matter to us. The camper comes with a table that stores behind the love seat but it is awfully cumbersome to bring over the couch. If we are to eat inside, we’d rather set out our King camp table.
Do they have a model like this that does not have the separate door off the bedroom? I think you're right. That space could be used for additional storage and an outdoor kitchen. One entry door would work fine. One other question I have - how often do these slides become a mechanical problem, and do they develop leaks? I've never owned a camper, but retirement is near and we are considering it. I have no idea where to start, but I'm glad I found your video.
There are several options that Flagstaff makes that don’t have the second but not the kitchen we really loved. The 2511 was also a contender when we were looking, but in the end, the kitchen won. The 2513 is might be a good option for you. As for the leaks or mechanical issues, we’ve owned many different campers over the years and have never had a problem. Like everything, maintaining it makes all the difference. I hope you find the perfect one for you.
+@sirbuck We are just super mindful about what we put in the camper and truck. We try to put weight evenly throughout so not everything is loaded in the front. Things like bottles water and camp chairs get loaded in the rear. On paper we should get a bigger truck, but we have never had an issue. The next truck may be bigger if money allows. Thanks for watching and commenting! Kevin and Amy
We traded in our old unit and ended up around $42k for ours. We found a unit with more accessories than we needed that we loved but couldn’t stomach the over $50 they were asking for it. Plus they were trying to put us in a 20 year loan. It’s the reason why we drove 5 hours into Pennsylvania to buy ours.
Geez, my 2512s weights about 5400 lbs dry. I guess the Flagstaff Micro is the same as the Rockwood minilite. Why don't you hang your grill from the grill hanger?
We don’t hang the grill from the hanger for a couple of reasons. I (Amy) have had the experience of having a house burn down, so I’m slightly more cautious. Second, I feel like the food I’m cooking would splatter on the camper and I don’t want a dirty camper. I’m not saying it’s completely rational, but giving you the method to my madness. 😊. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Beautiful trailer! Love the kitchen! Just a question. Not sure why you put a wooden step on the bottom ? There’s a button on each side to extend down the feet on your steps
We know but the wood step is used when the legs are extended as far as they can go but still don’t reach the ground. Our driveway at home has a drop off that requires it.
How do you access the door window shade with the door closed? Seems like you have to open the door, separate the screen door, then move the shade? What if you are inside and want to peek out the door window to see if someone is at the door?
Unfortunately, you don’t. That’s every RV though, not just this model. The shade is located in the main door which is outside the screen door. You set it and close the door.
@@salveloz5824 None at all! The most trouble we’ve had is forgetting to latch the fridge door and arriving at our destination to find a floor full of food. We haven’t had one quality issue and now I need to go knock on wood. 😊
Sorry but that counter top is not marble. It is Corian . marble or granite or marble is not used in rvs due to the fact it is prone to vibrations during towing and it definitely will Crack! I work at the manufacturing plant in Elkhart, Indiana for 8 years and I have put together the interior for that model. More expensive class A diesel pushers can use granite due to the heavy weight of the vehicle. Just thought I would clear you up on that marble counter top.
Hi! It is an electric tongue jack cover. It's drawstring so it snugs up tight to keep rain off off the electric switches. This is the one we got. amzn.to/3Ro9xlx
We have the Rockwood Ultralite 2608bs (2021) and I thought the Flagstaff 25fkbs was the same layout, but the front set up is vastly different. What is the Flagstaff equivalent of the Rockwood 2608bs?
I think you need to invest in a new set of stairs that rest on the ground. We did that with our Winnebago Minnie. No more 'floating' stairs. You went too fast with over the sink cupboards. How deep do they go? I didn't see any storage bins, so all the 'stuff' you have in there must shift during travel.
@@roxannegordon6162 We’ve thought about changing the stairs because they have been a problem on more than one occasion. The cupboard are pretty deep and we have clear plastic storage bins to store things like spices and such. We have grip sheets to keep things from sliding but they bunch up and we just took them out. Otherwise we have a stackable shelf to maximize space, but we still have to upright the cups after each trip.
Just found your channel, enjoying your travels~ My wife amd I are looking at this rv, it works with our half ton. 2 questions: 1) The 2 septic drops. Does the rear have 2 tanks (a gray and black), with the kitchen only having the gray? I had wondered if the rear had only 1 tank. 2) Water inlet. The water inlet is above the power (really thought Forest River would have changed that) for city water. But you showed the water tank fill on the opposite side. Does this also work as a city water hook up? Enjoyed your tours, and thank you for your time!
1). There are 2 tanks in the rear, gray and black. We thought we weren’t going to like the two drops, but if you line your front camper tire with the dump hole then a standard sewer hose reaches both ports without having to move the camper, so it’s not so bad. 2)The water inlet on the camp side is your freshwater tank. It does not hook to city water. Thanks for your comments. I’m sure others have the same questions and appreciate the information.
Thank you~ It really is a great rv, I don't think any are 100% perfect. For a couples rv, this one comes pretty close though. So, if Flagstaff/Rockwood takes any notice: 1) Get the power/water hookups corrected! 2) A rectangular shower as well and this unit would be as close to 100% as you can get. Great lay out and great storage, truly a nice rv!
It does quite well. Just make sure you check the trim package for the payload capacity. Some of the higher level trims have a MUCH lower payload. The SR5 is just over 1800. I’ve heard of the Limited being just over 1200. That’s the biggest concern with the heavy hitch weight. Otherwise, pulling and stopping is a breeze
Just subscribed. I also have a Tundra and have heard alot of people telling me it's not gunna work. I'm looking at this camper and the 2511s but I'm leaning towards 2516s. Looking to buy mine in October or so for when they drop in price for the year. This will be me and my wife's 2nd trailer now after 6 years of fulltime rving.
+Fulltime RV Nomad thank you! It’s funny, we were looking at the exact two models and went with the 2516s because of the kitchen space and the room around the bed. If you’re going to be full time, you’d probably want the same! As far as the Tundra goes, you just have to look at the numbers. Our 2022 has a payload capacity of 1850lbs. The hitch weight takes up a good chunk of that along with kayaks when we bring them. We don’t travel heavy. We are minimalist campers. We might get close to that number but we don’t exceed it. The truck does have a little squat but not terrible. Otherwise, I feel that it pulls easy. I don’t ever really travel faster than 68mph. (I’ve found that’s about the same speed as semis so I rarely pass anyone) and we don’t have HUGE mountains around here. But the hills we do climb, the twin turbos kick in and it’s a breeze. We average about 12.8 mpg towing. I think that’s everything. Feel free to ask anything!
@CampingCompanions well I have a 2021 Tundra V8 and my payload is a few hundred pounds less then yours and sucks fuel like a thirsty whale. I have seen others towing these with a Tundra but I have never got to ask them how it actually performs
Thank you for making such a great review! I’m currently considering the new Flagstaff 25FKB, new model for 2025 that’s similar, without the rear bed slide. I own and will tow with a 2020 Toyota Tundra Double Cab Limited 4x4, and I heard you mention that you also tow with a Tundra. The listed “hitch weight” for this model is 820 lb. I’m slightly concerned that this may push the limits of that particular capacity. The trailer weight, itself, is well within the limits, as it’s listed as being 5,689 lbs. How has your experience with your trailer been, so far? Are you still happily towing with your Tundra?
@@johnulrich650 first of all, thank you for watching! We truly appreciate it!! As far as towing with the Tundra, for the most part, it’s been alright. The tongue weight of ours is less than what you are looking at. Our payload isn’t what it should be for the tongue weight. I would say to check your payload and make sure you don’t load your bed with too much and you should be fine depending on the terrain you’re driving. I wouldn’t want to go up many mountains with it.
Yes! The front door to the bathroom is a little tight - need to walk sideways. Or, go in through the back door to the bathroom. The only thing we have found we have lost when the slides are in is the cupboard to the left of the sink. This is the best model we’ve ever had for accessibility.
Awesome video! Can you crawl into the bed with the slides in? I’ve been considering the Flagstaff 25FKB and Rockwood 2506FK because I want to be able to use the bathroom and bed with the slide in, in the event of short roadside naps while traveling.
We rarely eat inside, choosing the picnic table outside. However, we do carry a King Camp folding table that we highly recommend. If we need to eat inside, this table is much more lightweight and folds down to a compact size.
We’re selling ours. Ours is a 2022 rockwood mini lite . We ordered ours with slide out toppers. We’re selling our for $34,000 . We’re selling ours because we want to buy a Geo Pro FBS . We just want a smaller trailer for weekend trips.
+Mark Schoenfeld This was eliminated from our search because of the Murphy bed and lack of kitchen prep space. For those who don’t care about cooking in it or privacy when sleeping, this may be a good option.
It does quite well! You just need to make sure you get the correct trim package. We have the SR5 which has a payload of just over 1800. I’ve seen the Limited just over 1200. Payload is the biggest concern with the heavy hitch weight. Otherwise, pulling and stopping is a breeze.
@@CampingCompanions I bought the same camper you have today in Dahlonega Georgia from a dealer, it’s a 2024 model for $40K. Good price? 😂 How did I do? Lol I’ve made a couple videos about the 25FKBS. I enjoyed yours. There’s not many out there from the actual owners. I’m a TH-camr and I will be making several more about the camper when I receive it next week. My tundra is a 2021 Limited 4x2, I thought in the video yours looked like the newer V6 turbo? 😎
You did great! Better than us. We had a trade in that we still owed on so our bottom line was $42 ish. They upped our trade in value but increased the price of the trailer so we had a down payment. The Tundra will do well for you. Like we said, just mind the payload. We’ve spoken to full timers who carry a LOT of stuff who say it’s not great but for those who weekend here and there and a few week long trips, it’s great! Make sure to get a weight distribution hitch and sway bar combo and make sure it’s on correctly!
It appears that your Blackstone has a regulator attached to it. If your source of propane is coming from the front 30 gallon propane tank; it is already regulated there. Therefore; you are “double” regulated and the Blackstone has excessively restricted gas flow. Just FYI.
@@CampingCompanions You’re welcome. Love you rig. There are several you tube videos detailing the removal of the regulator on the Blackstone hose. You may have to buy a hose without the regulator if yours is “connected” permanently.
@@CampingCompanions doesn’t matter if Blackstone or not. You will need to remove the regulator, if possible or purchase a new hose without a regulator.
+@samsandel-gv3cu It’s hard to say because we had a trade in that we owed money on that got rolled into the new loan. We also added a 7 year warranty into it. Are you shopping for one yourself?
+Camper Gyrl Sorry - don’t share your opinion there. I’m sorry if you had a bad experience but our experience has been over the top positive! We LOVE our camper. Thanks for stopping by.
Yes, I loved mine too - soooo much. But mine had serious manufacturing defects which they admitted to, towed the camper back to the factory, then proceeded to return it to me severely damaged. They've agreed to fix the easy, cheap stuff but not the expensive, important stuff. If you think I'm just one disgruntled customer, take a look at the Better Business Bureau's Forest River page. Notably, they aren't members, but individuals can still file cases. If I can help just one person not go through the months long agony and financial hardship I have, it will be enough. Thanks for reading.@@CampingCompanions
@@CampingCompanions I felt safe in my half ton, till the front brake calipers failed locking the brakes and ending my trip. Now I feel safe in a 3/4 ton diesel with engine braking. It’s not that the Hemi couldn’t pull the weight or the load exceeded the rating. That 1/2 ton just didn’t have the brakes and suspension to handle the extra load for the long term. The 1500 was well within its rating.
@@CampingCompanions Yes the Toyhauler has large brakes 5200# axels, and no they don’t make enough braking power to make up the difference between a light 1/2 ton truck and a medium duty 3/4 ton truck with Diesel engine braking. Ultimately, the 1/2 ton truck will be overburdened for any other than ideal conditions. Is it possible to tow with a light truck ? Certainly, it is but, is it advisable…. No.
@@DonFarmer-hq5sw well, the truck is a lease, which runs out next May. We don’t have a toy hauler, and we live in NY where most everywhere we go is flat. I’m sorry you had a bad experience. Again, appreciate your concern.
Haha! Not only do we not have $125k laying around, we feel our half ton is perfectly capable of pulling this. In fact this unit is a downsize from our last one. We’re just really mindful of what we load. If you’ve got $125k extra laying around, we can be up for adoption. 🤣😂
Great that you actually have an rv with stuff in it so you can actually see where stuff fits!

Very nice trailer. We have a smaller Rockwood. This one would be perfect if it had a dinnette.
We eat outside most of the time so opted out of the dinette. We’re really happy with it.
I'm looking at a 2023 I don't like the fridge and sink on the 2024 video is much appreciated because most dealerships won't give info right..... happy camping guys
So glad to hear we helped! Enjoy your new camper! We love ours! Happy camping!
Omg we have a Tundra and are looking at a rockwood 2618rd. 715 tongue weight. Makes us feel better about pulling
I’m deciding between the 2516 and the 2608…what made you decide on the latter?
we needed the extra room, i do a lot with the dinette like invite others to eat with us when we group camp with family and i do things on my laptop, but mostly b/c we also have 4 boston terriers who need a place to sit. lol. with 2 slides and having all that room in less than 30 feet feels very comfortable. the blessing for us is that we bought it right before the big price hike in 2021@@AlignmentCoaching
hahaha LOVE The bloopers! I mean great walk through .... but bloopers cracked me UP ! Well done!
Thank you! Sometimes it feels like we make more blooper real than actual footage. 😂
We have a Jayco Jayflight 29RKS (Rear kitchen) and the fresh tank fill is on the passenger(campsite) side as well.
We’ve been seeing it more frequently on the newer units. It could be that we are just noticing it more now, but it just seems weird.
Very nice! I like the light interior decor. 👍 -Randy
+The Traveling Kites Thanks! We love it so far.
Great review, we are seriously considering ordering this RV after the holidays, with the sleeper/sofa. We too are down sizing from a fifth wheel.
It’s a great camper. I think you’ll be pleased with it!

Glad you enjoyed it
Could u plz do a tour video of the 2025 Rockwood Mini Lite 2516s. U do an excellent job showing everyone the layout and fixtures. U can't hardly find anyone talking about the new 2025 Rockwood 2516s

Good morning my friend. Do these have a stereo in them? I see outside speakers but I don’t see a head unit anywhere. Thanks 😎
Ours is a 2022 and does have a stereo head unit but I believe they did away with those in ‘23-‘24 and integrated it into the television. You should be able to use the TV to play music but I’m not 100% positive on that. Just positive that they incorporated the two.
And Good Morning ☀️!
We have this same camper, had it out for it's maiden run in July. Ran totally out of power, ended up buying a generator. I still love it, but am a little more realistic in what to expect if we are in a rustic sight.
Same here! We also bought a generator and then decided we are just better off plugged in. Congratulations on your new rig.
@@jshoota19ify 💯
Solar on the west coast makes more sense. We often camp with no hookups.
Very, very nice! Love it! Looks like a lot of space. Great choice! 😊😊😊
+Thrifty Angela Thanks! We love it!
Sarasota Tim just bought this very model. He drives a Tundra also lol. Perfect for most couples.
We’ve compared notes with Sarasota Tim. Seems Ike good people!
These folks appear to use it as a camper, not a full time home.
Not so much on the good people part, shady character a real grifter, but that's just my evaluation. This was an excellent video, you and your wife knocked it out of the park.
Nice camper, I hope you two have many enjoyable outings in it.

Very nice!
Thanks! Are you scoping out your next camper?
That is one nice camper.
Thank you! We love it.
I love Rockwoods. I’m on my 4th Rockwood. Since you said you’re towing this front kitchen trailer (they are tongue-heavy) with a Tundra, have you taken your setup to a CAT scale to make sure you aren’t exceeding the Tundra’s GVWR?
We’re aware of this being tongue heavy and are super mindful of what we put in the camper and where we store it. Thanks for checking in.
Agreed with the weird water hook-ups but I figure, it rains… so not that big of a deal. Thanks for watching and happy camping!!

Nice walk through, we have a 2022 flagstaff 25FKS . I have a question for you guys , do you have any front windshield condensation dripping when the weather is cold ? We have the same front kitchen as you . The water will run down the front windshield on the inside and gathers on the black trim . TYIA
We have not had that issue. We camped pretty late into October this past year. We’re in NY, so maybe the temperatures are different?
Flagstaff have amazing products and that’s a super nice model!

@@CampingCompanions No I don’t have one yet. Maybe in the near future.
Why don't they come with washer dryer? Or hook up.
Maybe because then it would be too heavy? I really don’t know.
I really like the sewer caps with the large handle. May I ask where you purchased those?
+@jhm68 Of course! These are the ones we got.
amzn.to/48Y6OF8
Do they have a model like this that does not have the separate door off the bedroom?
@@CampingCompanions that kitchen is really nice!
Does it stay cool enough in hot weather without 2nd air? Thinking Arizona. 🥵
We’re in NY and have never had the opportunity to test it in those conditions. Rather not say yes or no without personally knowing.
Can you load the refrigerator without opening the slide?
Yes you can. The only thing you lose when the slide is in is the pantry to the left of the sink.
What did you do about the tongue weight? I'm having the same concern about it.
Love it!
Me too! Thanks! Are you shopping for a new one?
It’s beautiful but wonder the price.
What year and how many miles in your tundra.
The Tunda is a 2022 and as of today it has about 15,200 miles- 90% of which are towing miles.
@@CampingCompanions makes sense :) Just checking :)
So you had your travel trailer for about a year, have you had any problems such as roof leaking or electrical issues etc.
@@salveloz5824 None at all! The most trouble we’ve had is forgetting to latch the fridge door and arriving at our destination to find a floor full of food. We haven’t had one quality issue and now I need to go knock on wood. 😊
@@CampingCompanions wonderful
Sorry but that counter top is not marble. It is Corian . marble or granite or marble is not used in rvs due to the fact it is prone to vibrations during towing and it definitely will Crack! I work at the manufacturing plant in Elkhart, Indiana for 8 years and I have put together the interior for that model. More expensive class A diesel pushers can use granite due to the heavy weight of the vehicle. Just thought I would clear you up on that marble counter top.
Thanks for clarifying!
What's the best camper for winter
Why are you sorry?
I was wondering how the camper could be a “micro lite” with s marble countertop! 🙂
It's a solid surface not marble who said it was natural material
What is that little cover you have for the tongue jack?
Hi! It is an electric tongue jack cover. It's drawstring so it snugs up tight to keep rain off off the electric switches. This is the one we got. amzn.to/3Ro9xlx
Nice! Very roomy!
+James D The shower is about the only place we wish was bigger, but overall it is fantastic!
We have the Rockwood Ultralite 2608bs (2021) and I thought the Flagstaff 25fkbs was the same layout, but the front set up is vastly different. What is the Flagstaff equivalent of the Rockwood 2608bs?
Rockwood 2519 is the same as The 25 FKBS. The Rockwood 2608bs is the same as the Flagstaff 26 FKBS. Ours is a foot shorter.
Just found your channel, enjoying your travels~
My wife amd I are looking at this rv, it works with our half ton.
2 questions:
1) The 2 septic drops.
Thank you~
It really is a great rv, I don't think any are 100% perfect. For a couples rv, this one comes pretty close though.
So, if Flagstaff/Rockwood takes any notice:
1) Get the power/water hookups corrected!
2) A rectangular shower as well and this unit would be as close to 100% as you can get.
Great lay out and great storage, truly a nice rv!
Nice ! ❤
+Tim Fitzgerald Thanks. We love it. We call it our forever camper.
Is that toilet a prime pooping position?
+John It has exceptional pooping qualities. Lots of room.
How good does your Tundra pull the camper?
Hahaha! Thirsty whale!

We rarely eat inside, choosing the picnic table outside. However, we do carry a King Camp folding table that we highly recommend. If we need to eat inside, this table is much more lightweight and folds down to a compact size.

Yes, I loved mine too - soooo much. But mine had serious manufacturing defects which they admitted to, towed the camper back to the factory, then proceeded to return it to me severely damaged. We feel perfectly safe as do many others with our tow vehicle. We already stepped down our camper. Thank you for your concern.
Didn’t your rig have brakes on the trailer too? Our truck also has $16k miles on it so we aren’t as concerned about brake failure.
No way i'd pull that with half ton, one ton dually all day, if you got $125k layin around.
Haha! Not only do we not have $125k laying around, we feel our half ton is perfectly capable of pulling this. In fact this unit is a downsize from our last one. We’re just really mindful of what we load. If you’ve got $125k extra laying around, we can be up for adoption. 🤣😂
my 2022 ram Laramie with the 5.7 etorque can pull 12 k so i think hes ok
Peeking at your nasty? Maybe you look like nasty son, but that does not apply to everyone.
That’s our humor. He is anything but nasty. 😂
Terrible music not needed.
It was louder than anticipated after uploading. New videos going forward don’t have music at all. 🙂
😂😂😂 Love you show! Thx for making me 😆
Thanks for watching! We make ourselves laugh too!
