Was their a few months ago. The government is doing a great job in cracking down on crime. Their is no danger of someone on a bike grabbing your goods. Walked around with an expensive Fold 5 phone and no one ever tried to grab anything.
As i mentioned in the video, the main crime in Vietnam is that someone will come up to you with his bike and grab a valuable item from you while you walking down the street. Unfortunately, it's still happening, and you have to be careful about that. You're lucky that nothing happened to you, but it doesn't mean that to others it won't happen. Having said that, and as I said in the video, Vietnam is a very safe country and one of the safest in the world 🙂
It is a dangerous country i almost got rob there like 5 times and i only visited there for 3 days i went back to my home country after almost getting robb for the 5fth time
So explain to me the fact that I'm living in Vietnam since 2020, traveling in many places and cities, and i feel very safe considering the fact that nothing ever happened to me
corruption from the custom agents at the TSN airport, pay or delay; pickpocket everywhere from the market to inside the shop, prices are higher for the tourists than the locals, secret police and CCTV monitoring foreigners constantly. A constant registering your staying to the local authority at every stop along your trip.. VN is a heavily police state like NKr and China...One wrong move then you'll be locked up for a long time...
@worldsendjourney4410 Yes, you're right. There are areas and cities that are safer than others, but in general, the entire country of Vietnam is very safe compared to other countries in the world
You're are absolutely right. Vietnam and actually most countries in Southeast Asia are the most dangerous countries in the world when it comes to traffic, but in this video, I focused on the crime issue, and when it comes to crime, Vietnam is one of the safest countries in the world 🙂
@@David.Robinowich Then you should have switched to better title. You are safe from crime but possible injury from walking and riding, I'm not bad mouthing the country. To me, needs more control than other Asian country. Vietnam is the King of Horning and Beeping for nothing, right?
Actually, I have a plan to do a video about the traffic issue and how dangerous it is. And yes, in Vietnam, you'll hear a lot of beep beep😁 but this is not for nothing. The reason is that because nobody looks anywhere but straight, there is no significant education in Vietnam to check the surrounding, therefore they always have to warn each other by honking the horn
@@queenmonkeyheadVietnamese here. Most folks nowadays do not honk unnecessarily like back in the 2000s-2010s anymore. You'd get death stares, vulgar exchanges and possibly road rage if you do that. Same goes with bad driving and riding. People only honk when someone is mad at someone else for their bad driving, or they want to get other motorists' attention for their own safety.
In my opinion the main 3 reasons that Vietnamese honk the horn are: 1) In order to alert each other, "I'm here" 2) In order to notify people who can't see the traffic light that the light is green 3) To celebrate the winning of the ASEAN Cup😀

Great video, but some areas safer than others. We have not had any issues here, but we are living in a city 1 hour from Hanoi.

After watching halfway the film, I bet traffic, walking and riding are most dangerous. My god. no one obey traffic rules.

Why?
