- This 2006 KLX110 required lots of welding, modifying, and reworking to make the newer style plastics fit to give it that modern look. I wanted a pitbike to match my KX125 & KX250 I did for Racer X. I feel like I was successful. Check out my Instagram profile to see the other bikes.

Really one of the only way to get the tire stickers is asking the guys at the Dunlop semi for them like at the nationals or a supercross

Did you get a 2010+ gas tank to get the shrouds to fit correctly or do they fit with the older style tanks?
Where do you get the Dunlop tires tire decals from?
What forks and shock did you have? Just got an 08 and planning on doing basically the same treatment you gave yours.
Awesome looking bike, 1 question tho, are you not worried that you cut off the bracket that used to hold the old style rear fender ? Seems like it was a good support for the frame ?
Thank you! I think it’s fine, I’m sure could probably get around not cutting it out if i did it again. Otherwise probably wouldn’t be bad to weld up something new for it.

Rear shock? I'm doing my son's 110 right now and what you used looks like the way to go
The shock I used came on another bike I bought so I’m not sure if they still sell them or not. All it said on it was Works Performance. Then I used a 110L swing arm and a shock extender from Tboltusa

Did you have to do any trimming on the number plates and did you have to drill front fender ??
I ended up using a triple clamp from a 2010 klx110. The stock one will work though from older years, I know the back bolt holes will line up, might need to drill the front ones.

Yeah I did! Those are stock rims, hubs, and spokes. Rims and hubs are powder coated

Same, I've been seeing early 2000's 110's being sold for $1,500 and $2,000. I'm just like that's too much for a bike that's 15+ years old.

Didnt it have much for before pictures of it. Didn’t decide to record till I started tearing into it. Not sure on total cost, I would to go through too many emails and receipts to add it up lol. Thanks for watching though!

Did you have to get the newer style gas tank and seat for the plastic conversion ?
Mikey Neese the seat is still the same on both styles. You can make the old tank work but I used a newer style tank because I had one available at the time.
Cool did you have to make any additional mounts?
Mikey Neese I did have to bend and weld up a couple little brackets. If you go to the 13 minute mark in the video you can see that’s where I am making them.

Should I get the regular 110 man or the 110L for my build ?
I prefer the 110L, but depends on how much you will be doing. If you are going to do new suspension or even swing arm it doesnt really matter which one you get. Whichever one you get i'm sure you will have a blast with it!

Where are the graphics from?
They are from Elusive Graphics. I don’t think they are in business anymore. I use Decal Works for everything now and it’s been great!
How do you bleed the clutch?
I don’t even remember the exact steps I was so frustrated with it haha. Lots of time getting that to work correctly
