1969 Honda Z50 Red & Blue Restorations
Amazing Z50k1 transformations! From piles of parts, back to 1969 off the showroom floor. You won't believe these are the same bikes. Enjoy!
I was determined to make these look like new again and didn't stop until they did. Countless hours and late nights, I can say I am satisfied.
These are entered in the Pryme MX bike build contest and the Red one made the top 20! If you could go vote for me that would be great.

$450 2006 KLX110 TRANSFORMATION
มุมมอง 120K4 ปีที่แล้ว
This 2006 KLX110 required lots of welding, modifying, and reworking to make the newer style plastics fit to give it that modern look. I wanted a pitbike to match my KX125 & KX250 I did for Racer X. I feel like I was successful. Check out my Instagram profile to see the other bikes. Another bike bought in pieces. Fun night building it! Went together and started right up. Love that 2-stroke sound💨💨🤙
absolutely AWWWsome!!!!
Amazing job !! What State are you located. Would love to get this done for my two sons bikes
Great job....but why are both headlights pointing up in the sky? 🙂
without the grom engine swap is there a such thing as a crf110 "stroker"? its klx across the board it looks like..i think its a carburator game, hona went fi and IMO the new look, frame, wires and all, thumbs down
I had a yellow one, 1970 I believe. Eventually broke the frame jumping it. Got a 70cc Head and Piston and a lifted cam. Made a down pipe out of a stingray handlebar and added flatbars to make a mini cafe racer.
How did you get the new style plastics to work with the old style body?
What Brand did you use to make your graphics?
Very nice bikes, great job ! I just finished a blue one and a red one. I used as many OEM Honda parts as I could locate. Been restoring them for 40+ years, mostly 69-71. Likely never stop.
So iconic. Great job restoring them. 🙂👍
450$ , I just paid 1300$ for mine
Oh man!!! Killer job that thing looks better than my 2024 🔥
Watched from beginning to end. Nice work man 👌🏽
I have the identical blue and silver 69, I did a complete resto 20 years ago. It turned out awesome and about 2 weeks after I finished it, I showed it at Make A Wish and turned down 5K for it. I am freshening up the resto right now and will be repainting the wheels, and polishing and cleaning the whole bike. The local Cops always smile and wave when they see my 230 lb butt riding it on local streets. You did an awesome job!
Nice work . I bought one new in 1969 for $215.00 from a Harley Davidson dealership in Racine Wisconsin. Now live in Australia!
cool content,i had a z50 as a kid ,just bought the same bike back after 20 years and in process of restoring it with first thing im doing is rebuilding the top end piston, rings and a new bore!
Where do u get the parts
Incredible work
Where are the graphics from?
They are from Elusive Graphics. I don’t think they are in business anymore. I use Decal Works for everything now and it’s been great!
I wanna know what site you paid $450 for this bike bc that's insanely low from what I've seen out there? And what what was roughly the total you put into it?
I paid 1300$ for mine
Absolutely amazing once again. I hope more people get to see your capabilities. If you aren't already then you will certainly be extremely successful in business with this level of skills
Great video put out some more!
Where did you get the stands?
Best young man or young woman adventure toy!!!
What cradle fits with the two bros peg bar mount?
Sick build where did u get the plastics kit?
Do you do customer restorations? Price?
Where can I get that stencil? Thanks Vince
I found it on eBay www.ebay.com/itm/175173579941?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=LnXC4ee3RxO&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=Rvsw5SKjTUe&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
name song min 7:46? thanks
I want to rebuild mine as well, how do you know where everything goes any advice or are you like a mechanic?
So was all the brackets and welding just to fit newer style plastics?
MICHAEL THATS THE BEST BEST !!!!!
Thank you!
I LEARNED TO RIDE ON THESE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND IM 54 NOW !!!!
Had the blue one in the 80’s, paid $40 for it and rode it like crazy. Went away for summer and older cousin blew the engine on it🥲
Greetings from Texas! My hat is off to you sir! You don't see many complete rebuild/restorations with quality like that. Very nicely done. I really like the attention to detail. It shows your skill and determination to do it right.
Thank you Mike! These were really fun projects and I worked hard to make sure they were done correctly. Thank you for watching
I’d like to buy one from you is that possible?
ONE WORD FOR THIS GUY " GENIUS "
They came out sweet.how much did you put into each bike to get them like thst
amazing perfection bro where did you get all the new parts? dam rediculously perfect!
Thank you! I did lots of searching on eBay, TBparts, Phatmx, CHP motorsports, and then I restored a lot working with plating companies to save chrome components and such.
Amazing restoration mate. I had a red one as my first bike as a young kid, used to still ride it to high school back in the 80's. Fitted the 70cc top end on it and had endless fun.
Thank you! That’s awesome I bet lots of good memories on that bike
My grandpa bought me a new one. I think it was a '68. They came in red, blue, and yellow I had a red one. I was 5. Good Times !!!! I installed a piece of carpet on the gas tank and my dog held on to the bars.
.... лучше бы конечно на мокик поставил движок от скутера с вариатором, красного цвета мокик мне больше понравился 🛵🚲🏍️🛴🛠️⚙️🔩🔗📎👌🆗🇷🇺👈👍👍👍🤓!!!
Awesome job. So good to see Honda engines being put back in. So often so called Z50 restorations have crappy Chinese engines put in them. Any moans about the paint not being original are ridiculous. The pre restoration bikes were beyond keeping original and you did a brilliant job. Superb attention to detail. Your customer must have been delighted. Thank you for your time and effort putting this video together.
Thank you! Not sure on the paint just worked with what I had to make them like new again!
Wonderful job! Two thumbs up! Not even Mother Honda was so perfect!
Thank you!
The Honda 50 was a nice first bike , but at 11 I still looked like I was riding a toddlers bike .
Beautiful work !!
Thank you!
well done
These bikes are like little pieces of rock candy ...
💜👍
What forks and shock did you have? Just got an 08 and planning on doing basically the same treatment you gave yours.
Those aren’t considered original though are they?
Not sure lol. Just had someone ask me to make them look new again so I did that with what I could find available to me.
