I got the EDP months ago on discount having never owned or smelled the EDT, but originally I went in to buy the EDT but EDP was on discount lol. It's a lovely scent, very enjoyable, great for date night or autumn/winter
To be honest, I have been a perfume addicted person, perfume is a subject to me understanding every bit of it. My conclusion about Versace eros edp is like…it’s a perfume which has the audacity to defeat any perfume irrespective of brand, price range, smelling & longevity department. This stays on you for at least 12 hours with no other perfumes brave enough to compete with it when it comes to projection which is well balanced & gives an expensive impression. I am writing this as my own opinion after using more than 100s of different perfumes including the most famous & super hyped international brands. Eros edp is the Mike Tyson of all perfumes if you think all other perfumes are professional boxers. If there is a guy who loves to rule, conquer, dominate & stay humble at the same time unless teased, it’s for him. Hyper beast…the one & only boss of the bad boy genesis.
Curly fragrance is an absolute delight to watch when she speaks about fragrances with extreme enthusiasm & in a fun way. Thanks to your effort for such nice videos on perfumes. You look fabulous…& you spread good vibes🤩
I never bought an expensive fragrance before and I'm thinking about buying one, so what do you suggest. I'm 16 and I don't know if I should get versace eros or 1 million or dior sauvage
@@royroyale539 well these aren’t really considered expensive, but as this is your first fragrance, you want something very versatile. I’d say go with 1 million - if that’s too feminine for you then pick Versace Eros. I would recommended you do not pick Dior savage as your first.

I’m a EDT guy myself but tbh the EDP is the way to go. Smells exactly the same just more mature and the dry down is smoother I really loved the EDP

What was your first fragrance?
I have two bottles of Edt and i tried Edp at the airport and loved the wdp that i bought the edp days later. To me its stronger, more minty toothpasty and a lil more mature than edt. I like it so much more than the edt. Im gnna get rid of my edt, its such and upgrade.
Would be good to see a comparison also with 'Eros Flame'.
EDP is definitely more balanced and more mature. Also the sweetness in the EDP is toned down cuz the vanilla is toned down.
Lower projection but longer lasting projection then the EDT.

@@ohgpsbohgpsb7844 It's not quite as loud as the EDT, but still projects well. Longevity is like 10+ hrs. It's just a better scent. Not as juvenile as the EDT.
Main reason I bought the edp, I enjoy citrus more than vanilla
Flame is still my fav of them all but EDP is better than EDT imo
Last month I actually bought EDT but returned it for the EDP 2 days later and I'm so happy to hear your opinion on the EDP :)

@@funnycomplications4582 Yeah that was one of the reasons why I switched because of all the reading I had done about the newer EDT batches. EDP unfortunately only lasts just a little longer than the new EDT. Regardless, it smells better and if you do the "curly method" of a lot of sprays you should be fine either way. Go for the EDP.
how can you return fragrance? did you spray any then returned it?

I sampled both and in the end went for edp it was a simple decision, edp is definitely better more smooth, balanced and more versatile and performance is great too.
It's a very distinct playful scent that is strong I like the edt and now John boy is gonna have to test drive this edp, thanks curly ❤️👍

I have a 2014 bottle of the edt. DZ1459. 60 percent full. Two sprays will last all day and I'll be surrounded by a pleasant scent within 3-4 feet. I passed on the edp.

Your nose is better than mine, I actually could not tell the difference, bought the EDT and I get compliments whenever I wear it. It’s what you expect from Versace. It’s bold and elegant.

I wore Eros EDP on my trip to Guatemala in 80° heat low humidity and it worked just fine but I believe anything higher it may be too sweet
This is good to know. I've been wearing EDP in springtime, where the highs have been in the 60s, and I can tell it can go higher. It's so versatile. Versace did a great job on this EDP!

I never had the edt cause everyone had it when the edp came out i said to my self maybe this is it but always got the ultra male insteadi got mines yesterday and i must say its one of my favorite fragrances and performs good AF

The EDT is fresher with a heavier mint and also an apple opening and is generally less sweet than the EDP. Agreed that the EDP is smoother and better blended but the EDT is more versatile due to the added freshness and may likely get more compliments from the air scent for that reason.

@@baldealpha0997 Nope....the EDP is not just sweeter but considerably sweeter as the reviewer said. Doubt u have smelled the two together if u can say the EDT is sweeter. The EDT is certainly 'louder' as in projects more in the opening stages...not sure if that's why u think its sweeter. I think its a matter perception because everything in the EDT is amped up. Relative to the EDT though there is virtually no freshness in the EDP but because the EDP is more smooth and subtle it may seem less sweet up close...but it isn't....and certainly not in the air where the volatility of the apple and mint notes hits the nose first and attracts much more compliments from the EDT (in my experience).

I have all 4 Eros versions (Flame, EDT, EDP, Parfum)the EDP is the best of the bunch of OG Eros. Parfum is nice but fades in smell too fast EDT is great but the EDP is the best overall.

Have you tried the Parfum version??? It's available in my Notino, but it has never been on the shelf as a tester, so I'm curious. Personally EDT and EDP are identical to me. EDP just projects more.

They probably have nose paralyzed 😂😂😂 2 sprays just 2 sprays and there is nice scent bubble whole day... I have 2022 batch and this is beast...Never wear more than 3 sprays for date otherwise gf will be dead..😂😂just kidding...

I own edp but my friend wore his edt other day. I always felt the edp lacked the loudness and projection of the edt but it is more smoother and balanced for sure. Just for record - YSL Y edp beats them both 😊

Can't find any article or statement that says black on white that Versace Eros Flame is being discontinued, just rumours and speculation. I did get several back-up bottles in case of, helped that i got them at a pretty good price in my country.
I bought the NEW VERSACE EROS ENERGY, but coming back to Versace Eros I also wanted to own the Blue bottle too.
I was thinking of getting the edp version, but my mate gave me a 30ml bottle of the EDT.
I couldn't refuse as I am a big fan of the original, especially if its more fresher and sweet at the same time.
Just want to own both the NEW Eros Energy and the classic EDT of the original.
I have tried the EDP verion of the original, but the EDT is alot cheaper especially if you can get a 200ml bottle for £90 from discounters.
While the NEW Eros Energy is my New go to scent, it would be nice to have a collection of NEW and old.

I tried the Eros edt, EDP but still prefer flame over the other two. I have not tried the parfum yet to see if I prefer it over flame.

EDT is better
I blind bought the EDP because of your review and reactions when you asked the beautiful ladies and because I love the EDT. So many damn compliments. ONE PROBLEM with the EDP. THE DRY DOWN after 4-5 hours turns into a bad MUSK on the skin!!!! 😢. I’ll just give it away as a gift. The same thing happens with LAYTON- I work with all nurses/ ladies at work. They told me I smell like their grandfathers old musk after shave- by hour 4-5 it was bad!

Agreed...the EDT is considerably fresher. I much prefer the sweet/fresh combo which also lends itself to more versatility and compliments. The EDP is mostly sweet....more suited to cooler weather in my opinion.

It seems your edt is an older batch cuz I have 200 ml edt and is written that on the bottle, also nice comparison eros is a nice and refreshing scent ❤❤ LOVE you and your videos!

I got EDP now in 2023, it sucks the performance sucks really bad, there is no projection and doesn't even last in skin or clothes.

I prefer the freshness of the EDT because I live in the tropics and the temperature here is just right for it. Projecting like a beast, fresh and especially not too ooverwhelming. I've also tried the edp and parfum version, but they are too sweet and strong and gives me a headache.
edt more headache vibe then edp tho, edt has trash performance with the new batch
true my edp has way too strong projection and even i who's wearing the perfume too strong, although i envy its long lasting fragrance, but other than that nothing else and the patchouli is not my type and im in my 20's and honestly the edt is much better in the tropics but it doesnt last long in the newer batches

Makes me think that most of these performance complaints are from people who are either misleading people with lies or they’re just psychologically jumping on the ‘poor performance’ bandwagon without making the right judgement. What more do you want from a perfume that goes over 10hrs+?!!!
@@SherlockDavethe thing is that edt doesn’t last even close to 10 hrs, personally I could barely notice it after 1-2 hours, and it was completely gone after 3-4 hours

as an FYI the EDP versions of Eros (flame and this one) seem to work best... also theirs a versace Eros parfum version out (atleast here in the US) personally the edps work best for me but the edt and parfum have their uses too

Bought the EDP version recently and expected a lot more. Didn't blow me away when I smelt it first time at all. Maybe I was expecting too much but it smells quite generic. It's not bad, but based on how people talk about it, it was a surprising let down. I could only bring myself to spray 6 or 7 times today (but I was in pretty close proximity with people all day so didn't want to choke people out)...maybe I need to spray more. Nobody mentioned it and I couldn't really smell it on myself either after the first few minutes. It feels like a lot of other fragrances smell really similar. The last I bought was Tom Ford Extreme and that has a VERY CLEAR unique smell. I can smell that on myself all day with just a few sprays, as can others. Maybe it's just me...but this just didn't live up to it.
