I really want a BOTW scale adventure in Termina.
YEAH YEAH I WANT THAT TOO!!!! Termina is sooo underused, even in Smash bros they got a random location when they could get Clock Town, the plains or the Stone Tower
It would have to be an MM remake. I don't want to return to Termina without the amazing story to back it up.

This makes me think of a future game where we return to a more peaceful Termina without the worry of saving it from the moon.
That's a way of seeing it! I was thinking more of a "enjoy this peacefulness and happiness while you can" sort of vibe for this, but I think I like your take a bit more hehe
Actually getting to participate in the Carnival of Time would make it a peak game for me.
A Tarry Town-like series of sidequests where you help prepare and set up for the Carnival before getting to experience it.

Man that’s been a dream of mine since even before Zelda became open world. I loved ToTK, don’t even have many complaints about it personally besides that they didn’t include any of the shields from majora’s mask or the gilded/razor sword, lol. Grateful to have the Fierce deity set ofc but some part of me really misses the design of the OG hero’s shield.
Although as much as I’d like to be hopeful and optimistic, I just can’t see it happening..Just judging by how hard it was with all the petitions to get them to remake MM on the 3DS, I feel like maybe the grief that the developers faced while cramming to finish the game in 1 year made hard for them to understand why fans hold it on such a high pedestal.
I do understand that I guess…but at the same time it was those circumstantial emotions leaking into the final product which enriched the game with such a powerfully authentic/deeper theme that made me fall in love with it.
Oh yeah, also I feel like the decision to name the land “Termina” is definitely tied into the fact that the world is 3 days away from being… well, terminated lol.
Are we not going to talk about how cool the load screen/map is?!

You might want to consider monitizing the album if you indend on doing full re-imagining. If Jammin Sam Miller can monetize DKC you new sound tracks would be in the clear too.
That loading screen is awesome. Counting bottles and masks is the cherry on top.
You really captured the minimalism that's known with Breath of the Wild. I could already imagine this song slowly fading in as you enter the town gates.
Termina has the most potential to be an engaging overworld for the next mainline zelda. The amount of lore that world would have and the atmosphere would be perfect
I would absolutely LOVE an open world Zelda game that takes place in Termina! Just imagine Clock Town the size of the Great Plateau! And that's only ONE area of the map! I imagine Clock Town being a huge main hub in the middle of the world, while surrounded by mountains, valleys, swamps, and beaches!
The scaling would be PHENOMENAL!
Also, since Termina seems to have a culture revolving around masks, it would actually be really interesting to see that mechanic being used similarly to the Skeikah Slate and Purah Pad! New masks would give Link certain powers and abilities to help him navigate around Termina! And, obviously, dungeons being found in each major region to match their themes!

Very well done! I always thought it would be fun to hear different Zelda songs in the BotW town style and the BotW ambient style!
For example, I'd love to hear things like tp lost woods, oot kakariko village, windfall island etc in the town style. Id also love to hear how songs could have been made into ambient tracks like they did with the Temple of Time, so things like the ranch ruins could have had a Lon Lon Ranch ambient track, or if MM was a BotW style game I imagine the regional music and the overworld music would be ambient too
All those are great suggestions!!! I've too been having that itch in my mind of how would other Zelda classics translate into BotW, and it's nice to see this blowing up and getting great reception, that means we aren't the only ones with those ideas!!!
very cool!! I’ve only ever seen the opposite of this (botw songs in majora’s mask font and so on) but this is so perfect for botw and it really does like something right out of the game. I wasn’t expecting a night version too but it was beautiful. plus I love the unique map design to fit. thinking of majora’s mask as an open world adventure is a very interesting idea and I’m happy it’s starting to get the views it deserves !!!

Now I know why you shared this map on Twitter. 😊 This track works out great. I can't help but get the feeling of being the early bird in the morning with your BotW version. I know there isn't an afternoon version in BotW, but I imagine it'd be upbeat. The night version was unexpected. I think that one is my favorite of the two. It's warm and homey.

I'm actually a mix of personalized classes and self-taught, I had someone who teached me all the basics of media scoring and music production, and also I'm currently finishing classical music school. But in general terms of mastering, music theory and all that, I'm both self and TH-cam video taught hehe
@@Kassil You're welcome. I'd really like to get a better understanding on mixing and mastering. I had a few music classes, but I never got into the classical part of it. I think I was just intimidated. I learned some music theory, but I'm also learning from TH-cam. It's pretty cool to know someone who makes music and has an understanding for it. Most don't seem to be this way.
This is awesome, and it really makes me thing about the stuff from classic zelda formula games woulda been fun in BOTW/TOTK.
Obviously everyone mentions dungeon items and the like, but for me its the idea of like.... managing your bottles for potions, crafting bigger bags/quivers like in Skyward. Fishing minigames (And the fact those would be so functional now), and the common use of instruments. perfect for breaking the silence of the more atmospheric soundtrack. Dungeon items are great, but I woulda loved to see all those little zelda-isms in a game where they could REALLY matter.

Maybe Skyward Sword isn't the top favorite Zelda of many, but after playing both BOTW and TOTK, I personally felt it managed to achieve mixing both the classic Zelda formula with some sort of open world, and I've been loving that damn game even more ever since.
@@Kassil Skyward has its flaws. I'm certainly among those who dislike it. But it also has some of the best ideas in the series. In regards to the world, story, and mechanics.
The Adventure Pouch, Fi, the fricken time stone boat.... Maybe some things aren't executed perfectly, but the core ideas are fantastic.

I thought this was just gonna be a recreation with BotW sound fonts. But, this is so much better than anything I could have expected. The re-imagining, the brilliant arrangement, the stunning liberties, and how it stays true to both Majora's Mask and Breath of the Wild. Like, if Majora's Mask were to be remade ground up by Nintendo, they'd probably use this arrangement for Clock Town day 1. I'm gonna make sure I support you with one of the links in the description and get myself a download of this. And maybe some more. Gonna have to look at your channel now.

They should really remake Majoras’s Mask as an open world like BotW! Especially since the 3Ds remake was a downgrade from the original. It would probably end up as one of if not my favourite game in the series if they did!

@@Kassil I would say the most similar track to the Final Day in either BOTW or TOTK would be the Lookout Landing theme during the Zelda sighting - it has that ominous background while the foreground is the regular Lookout Landing theme
