i was sooo thankful. like really, thanks. i was suuuper excited to try a typewriter type keyboard and im actually SOOO THANKFUL FOR YOU MAKING A QUICK, CONCISE AND GOOD REVIEW.
i just got this KB an I LOVE IT, I did not have any issues with connecting this keyboard all I did was switch the select on the back of the keyboard to wired and it worked just fine for me. Also I did find it weird that for the wireless mode it did not come with a adaptor piece to plug into your pc, but it honestly makes sense when you think about it cuz this is advertised as being used for a tablet I'm most of the tiktok an YT shorts so I just think they did not want to take the usb slot away from the mouse, cuz let's be honest if someone is using a keyboard with a tablet they are prob using a mouse also, all around I love this thing deff recommend
There is one thing that you are missing about your review. Most of the keyboards that are over $100 will have the ability to remove the key and the action under it to replace it if it goes bad. This keyboard has that on it. Most keyboards that are under $30 are made to be trashed once they go bad. The other thing is that just because your muscles aren't use to it don't mean you will not enjoy this. When I first started typing my muscles where sore from a normal keyboard. All it means is that it will take some getting use to for the muscles to adapt to. I know that it took some getting use to, in order for me to also use a real typewriter. Anyways, thanks for the review. I am looking to get one of these for more travel just for the fun of it.
That is true! You can get use to the keys. I loved typing on the typewriter I had, so the key height was nothing new to me. I recently replaced this keyboard with another one, simply because I underestimated how much I use a numpad for programming. For writing my scripts though... I would use this typewriter keyboard over any of my others I own. I love it! That aside, I do still stand by what I said. For the price, I would expect more. USB Dongle, quieter keys, and possibly have the keys either on a slight slant or sized differently to make it easier not to miss-click.
Hi, I tend to get one but when i find to buy and realise that there are Taiahiro ML-981 which is exactly the same with this one. Can you help me to compare. Thank you.
Nope, sorry. I have never owned that brand, and I do not want to purchase another typerwriter keyboard because, despite the low review I gave (which I still stand behind), I do like the one I have. It just cost too much for what it is.
not sure why this review is so negative. The layout is just like my Dell, it's easy to type on. The connectivity instructions that came with it was easy to follow and connected easily with my computers in seconds. I love that fact that it looks and sound just like my great grandpa's old type writer. I love it so far definitely worth the cost of $60 during Prime Day's.
I love the keyboard, but I couldn't get behind the things that were bad. Its like a roller coaster. The things that are good are amazing! The things that are not so good, are horrible. $60 is more reasonable, but I sank over $100 in mine because A) I paid full price, and B) I had to get a Bluetooth dongle for it separately. If it was $60 with a dongle, it would have scored much higher.
1. Make sure you have a BlueTooth receiver on your machine. 2. Only one bluetooth device can be connected at once with most devices. 3. Turn on Wireless on the keyboard by pressing FN+R. If the light at the top of the keyboard next to "USB/Bt" is red, that means USB, blue means BlueTooth.
The volume is a little concerning to me, as I'd like to type in different locations. This features a volume control in the screenshots of amazon. That doesn't help? Good video by the way!👍
@@terrencedow2925 The volume knob works great, that wasnt the issue I was referring to. The issue was the keys noise level when they are typed. It sounds just like an old, retro, turn of the century typewriter. It is loud to type on.

Have you had problems with paring the keyboard to Windows 11 Bluetooth? I'm struggling with a pin number for some reason..
I dont remember if I had to input a pin or not. I keep it wired because I didnt like how it would turn off after a few minutes of not being used.
I was able to use mine once. After that, I couldn't get it to pair with my iPad or my Mac.
There is a physical button on the back to toggle between OS's. After you swap that, press FN + R to cycle the connection.
@@gray-technical This doesn't work either. I've tried everything. It won't even connect when wired.

How do you pair it
I'm typing with this 90 dollar keyboard, would recommend
I do love the keyboard too! I still think it cost too much though.
I’m unable to pair to Bluetooth; do you know why?
I think it is FN+R to cycle Bluetooth connection.
You could also have an issue with your device only allowing 1 bluetooth connection at a time.
