you can do dry start on smooth surfaces but you need little bit bigger particles of moss 😊
Patience, at the end the moss grew very well! By the way, I saw a video by ‘Pachi Aquarium’ and I remember he combines a dark start (with water) for the hardscape for a few weeks, followed by a dry start for the moss without water. This worked quite well perhaps due to the fact that the wood was well soaked with water after the dark start.
Keep up the amazing work. You are the reason I got into aquascaping... even entered the Chihiros contest. Love your work and learning from you. Thank you for all you do.
Another great scape, MJ. Bedankt voor de videos. It’s cool that you still showed the result with the moss even though it didn’t initially turn out as you’d hoped. Sometimes on TH-cam it can be easy to get sucked into believing everything is easy and goes right first time when in real life it doesn’t always go that way! Especially when you’re still fairly new and learning like me! It was so cool to see you at Horizon for the workshop with Balbi. It would have been great to chat to you but I didn’t want to distract you as you looked very busy 😅 hope all my questions aren’t causing you headaches to edit! Maybe next time 😊 tot ziens!

In 12:53.... What's the other fish beside Borneo loach, is that Guntheri or Zodiac Loach.. Because they'll eat adult shrimp also
