I adopted my pacman with a multitude issues leading me to be an overprotective and anxious pacman frog mom. This video definitely helped me to understand what I need to notice so that I am sure I am not underfeeding him and giving him the best life he deserves. Definitely make more pacman frog videos for the future! Particularly in heating setups, thermostat setups, and temperature controls. I hope my little guy will be in my life for quite some time. Already had him 7 months and he made a complete 180 from where he was when I got him. Watching your pacman care video got me through raising him this far. Thanks again!
They're beautiful. I know nothing about keeping them, but they're fascinating animals and such beautiful colours. I love how they kept hopping off! You obviously love them.
great video. I am thinking I may adopt one. Doing all my research first. I have 20 years of experience with reptiles of one sort or another and now I am looking for a low-maintenance pet. I am really excited. Your video was nice and clear and gave me the info I will need. I look forward to seeing more videos.
I had a pacman frog for a year and everything was fine but then all of a sudden It stopped accepting meals. I tried everything: changing out the eco earth to new eco earth, offering live as apposed to frozen, added a heat pad under the tank, giving him a soak in warm water. He went 12 weeks without eating until he passed
Mine wasn't fed well as a baby by the breeders so it had MBD. It's jaw broke as a baby because of it and it's now slightly deformed. Some of its toes aren't as long as others, etc.
My frog is too thin but will only eat crickets. Will he fatten up on these or do I need to really push worms etc on him? He eats about 5 large crickets a night give or take with a day off where he doesn’t come up once in awhile.
does this apply to frogs that are not full grown yet too? I have a young pacman who is even a bit skinnier compared to the male. I let him eat as much as he wants most of the time though.
Lot’s of people say that they commonly die for no apparent reason, but I have never heard it is due to genetic issues. I have never had one croak on me (no pun intended). While I haven’t been in that situation, I’d imagine the majority of the time it would be a husbandry issue.
I need help with my pacman frog, he will not eat, i picked up the little guy about 5 days ago and he would not eat anything. I have the temperature set at 75-85 degrees with humidity from 50%-70% but he still not eating, what should i do?
I do think my Pacman frog is a little underweight how do I make it gain weight currently undefeated one full of micro or every 3 days cuz he is a 8 month old Pacman frog and that's what I was told to do so should I start feeding them 2 nightcrawlers
I know this video was a while ago but I got a young chocolate fantasy pac man and I’ve been feeding her/him a mix of crickets, wax-worms, and sometimes large soldier fly larva. I fed her yesterday on Friday and I noticed a larger bump on her left side. Is this normal after feeding? Or is it something more dangerous and complicated?
My pacman he is not eating this is my first pacman I have leos and crested geckos I tried cup feeding tong free feeding with melworms and crikets he's a juvenile so he is small he just won't eat
Do I have to spray down the tank daily? And can I feed a baby pacman frog pinkies because I am getting a kenyan sand boa probably as a baby so yea ima have some of those. Oh and also what is the minimum price for one of these frogs??
Hey! So I actually do not mist my pacman frog tanks at all, substrate moisture is where it counts! I make sure is it always damp-wet, without being flooded. Pinkies work ok as a treat, but I'd keep it to monthly at a minimum because they are super fatty. Nightcrawlers make a much better staple for their diet.
In thinking about getting one, but I have tarantulas and rolly polys I breed. They are so easy to take care of I only have to spend 60 mins of my week taking care of them. Compared to a packman frog it seems too much 😂
Are the babies about the size of a half dollar usually not as fat as the older ones? I have one a bit older and he's much chubb and the smaller one isn't as fat
This is super helpful! I have an albino male that’s basically identical to the one in this video and I wasn’t sure if he was fat enough. I’m gonna start giving him some extra worms to thicken up a bit more. Thanks!
I just got a baby Pac-Man and I’ve had him for two days and he hasn’t eaten yet (tong feeding mealworms because I don’t think he’s big enough for supers) he’s pooped and peed a lot but hasn’t eaten. Should I be concerned?
Hi! I have a question regarding my 1 y/o female Pacman frog. She has gone into what I think is estivation for the winter. She has been buried for about 4 weeks now. Im thinking it is best to just let her hibernate during the winter. Should I still keep her tank hot and humid? or let it dry out a bit? I have been misting daily, but she has not made any effort to move. ...any advice helps!!
Hello! So I have a Pacman frog and I have a few questions, the first question is I feed my 3 month year old every other day so for example I would feed him today and then after tomorrow feed him again, he’s three months old I don’t know if I have to feed him everyday. My second question is the days I do give him his meal I feed him 2 large crickets with calcium and that’s it do you think I should add in a meal worm or something? My other question is why is it when I give him his meal one second he will look bloated and then the other he will look skinny. I know I’m asking a lot of questions but I want my Pacman frog to be healthy and at least keep him alive. If you can get back to me and answer some of these questions that would be great I know I’m late to this video but I really need to know. Thanks!
Sorry that I’m late, by now he’s almost a year, it is normal for them to look big after feeding time, feed crickets, earthworms, and/or roaches. You can also feed mice once a month, and now that yours is about a year old, feed him every two days.
Can someone help me, my brother dropped my baby paman Howard, I’m crying because I don’t want him to die, he won’t hop but he is breathing still I got him yesterday and I’m worried he’s going to die while I’m sleeping 😭😭
If you’re not wearing gloves, you should wash your hands thoroughly beforehand. I’d say for the amount of touching in this video, he should’ve worn gloves. He does seem to know a lot about pacman frogs, but overall I’d say if you handle one and don’t have gloves on hand, you should wash your hands.

Is it me or does the audio cut out at 1:29 for like 4 solid seconds before resuming? Great vid though I love those chunky frogs
It did for me as well @Ethan!
Yeah agreed
Yeah looks like an edit that was left in accidently
Yeah that's what I was wondering about.
Yeah it got janked. Sorry!

mine was very cube like when i got her as a baby. she was just sitting in a random little aquarium store. fattened her up quick tho.
i have 2 pacman frogs and i’d like to see more videos from you on them , there’s a lot of bad pacman care videos giving out false info
I have a male pac-man frog. I named him Sprig, in honor of Amphibia the newest Disney Channel series.
Thank you for this video, I'm going to feed my moist baby right now.
They're beautiful. I know nothing about keeping them, but they're fascinating animals and such beautiful colours. I love how they kept hopping off! You obviously love them.

PLLLEEEEEZ MAKE MORE PACMAN FROG VIDS THERE AMAZING!!
Can you please make a vid of all of the new reptiles you've gotten for Radiant Reptilia so far?
Mine wasn't fed well as a baby by the breeders so it had MBD. It's jaw broke as a baby because of it and it's now slightly deformed. Some of its toes aren't as long as others, etc.
why does my pacman frog have a 100 yard stare?
Love the information you shared
Im down for more amphibian videos for sure!
Ya I'm always worried if my pacman frog is eating enough? Great vid
Me too
My frog is too thin but will only eat crickets. Will he fatten up on these or do I need to really push worms etc on him? He eats about 5 large crickets a night give or take with a day off where he doesn’t come up once in awhile.
Thanks what do you recommend as a supplement for weight gain for them ?
Just got a strawberry Pacman frog the other day! Thanks for the info. 😁
2:17 I was worried for your fingers, haha.

Can you do a video on overweight and underweight amarican toad
Loved it when he jumped out of his hands
does this apply to frogs that are not full grown yet too? I have a young pacman who is even a bit skinnier compared to the male. I let him eat as much as he wants most of the time though.
Claire Lizak ya it is good baby’s are way skinnier if they are super fat like that they might be bloated
@@1980mnelson Not way skinnier, but definitely not as chunky
Is it true these commonly have genetic issues and randomly die without warning at times?
EarthsGeomancer I didn’t know that and I wish I did a few days ago. Mine recently died for no apparent reason and I’m super upset about it.
@@felixnelles746 Sorry to hear. :(

@@RadiantReptilia Yeah, had to be bad housing, poor diet, and poor temperature/humidity.

Had my Pac-Man frog for 2 weeks, no poop and I have to force feed him. Don’t know what to do

Does this aöso apply to baby pacman frogs? Or should they be smaller or fatter
they are chunky bois and the greatest type of frog available
These are funny looking frogs. I love ‘em
i only clicked on this video because of the frogs :D
Why exactly are both my pacmans not eating?? They are juvenile and Idk why they won’t eat
probably because it's to hot or cold, or you are doing something wrong.
I once did an X-ray on an emaciated Pac-Man frog 😢
My pacman he is not eating this is my first pacman I have leos and crested geckos I tried cup feeding tong free feeding with melworms and crikets he's a juvenile so he is small he just won't eat

@@RadiantReptilia Ok thank you
@@tenziie1600 Still spray atleast the substrate a few times a day.
This video really helped a lot.
very informative! thank you, does this apply to baby pacmans?
kind of, babies will generally be a lot smaller, but should still be round, and not skinny. They just won't be AS chubby.
Does healthy baby pacman frog round?
I like seeing the way the turtles 🐢 and monitor lizards 🦎 eat the frogs 🐸
In thinking about getting one, but I have tarantulas and rolly polys I breed. They are so easy to take care of I only have to spend 60 mins of my week taking care of them. Compared to a packman frog it seems too much 😂
Very cute, and useful.
well if it's underweight how do you get them to be the correct weight? a specific eating regimen?
Feed small babies daily, juveniles and sub-adults every day, and adults every two days.
I want more pacman frog vids

Try wax worms for weight gain
hey I'm looking for a frog and in wondering where I can get one I really am looking for a strawberry pineapple one though.
If it can move it ain't eating enough!
I love mine I just got it today 😍
I just got a baby Pac-Man and I’ve had him for two days and he hasn’t eaten yet (tong feeding mealworms because I don’t think he’s big enough for supers) he’s pooped and peed a lot but hasn’t eaten. Should I be concerned?
They don’t eat sometimes once you change their habitat from store to a new enclosure

They naturally go through estivation in the dry season, and come out when everything gets humid and wet again
and it did pause
How to tell if pacman frog is overwheight?
Awwwwwww so adorable w

How do I make mine bigger she’s small
I don’t know if my pac man is a boy or not lol
I adopted two new pac mans from craigslist one is so skinny.. how can I have him gain weigh?
Feed him/her often
Feed daily, and mix in extra waxworms and hornworms.
Kamabunta!!
Cool cool video
I thought u were so post to wear gloves when handling them? 🤔
That may be a topic for another video, but I personally think they are handleable for short amounts of time without issues.
It's supposed
If you’re not wearing gloves, you should wash your hands thoroughly beforehand. I’d say for the amount of touching in this video, he should’ve worn gloves. He does seem to know a lot about pacman frogs, but overall I’d say if you handle one and don’t have gloves on hand, you should wash your hands.

1:45 Wasted
Fuck it. Pac man phrog
What happened with you and Alex?
8.18.20
Why.. Why would you put a smaller frog on top of a larger frog. Ugh. They eat each other
I think my frog is overweight. I feed him a giant grasshopper/worm every other day
How old is he? It could be over feeding or edema
How can you tell the sex?
Sounds like a future video topic!
Wow im an og? Its been a wile..
What do you your frogs? They all look healthy!
