Hope you and your family are well, Josie! Missing your videos and hope you’re planning to add new content soon. Thank you for your fun and helpful info. Wishing you all the best from California.
Your hair looks so good! Also my five year old daughter just loves the song you added during the part when you were getting your hair done and kept making me replay it lol could you please link it ? 🙏🏿💕 Hope we get to meet you all when we move there! 😃
Portions are huge here, but what I do is mainly order fish and I always substitute potatoes for veggies and salad only! No bread...Unless they offer bolo do caco or something like that!! You definitely have to watch it!! So, a cut and color for 76€ might be a little expensive in Portugal, but I paid way more in France and the US!! All of the services are such a treat and so reasonable...I love manicures, pedicures and facials as well...Portugal is great for all of the pampering!!! Great menu for Friday night movies!!
Great haircut Josie. Can you share the name of your stylist? I moved to Coimbra 5 mos ago and have been trying to find a stylist who is great with Asian hair.... Also, do you know where your neighbor got the lemon grass tree? Would love to grow lemon grass
Hi Josie. We have our first scouting trip coming up next month! As a fellow Asian, can you tell me if there are Asian grocery stores nearby? I’d hate to have to fly somewhere just to buy fish sauce 😅
Great question. You can find fish sauce everywhere (specifically the Squid brand). For a wider selection, I go to Lisbon quarterly to stock up on my Asian essentials. The main Asian store I go to is Amanhecer. However, I can find a lot of basics here in Caldas.
That’s great to hear! Your channel has helped me and many others get a glimpse of moving there ie. schools, living expenses, etc. so thank you for posting!
Hey, I’m interested in going to them for the type of balayage colouring that you had last time, can you remember how much you paid for that? And so you speak with them in English or Portuguese? I don’t think my Portuguese is good enough for the hair dresser yet! 😅
I believe I paid roughly 140 for cut and balayage for the first time and after it was 120. My stylist doesn’t speak English, but there are other staff members who do.
Wow what a great price for your hair!!! Here in Canada for the same things I spend around $300. Yet another reason I’m excited to move to Portugal 😄 awesome video as always Josie!
Hi Josie, good morning... your wavy hair looks great, hugs to the family.😉Olá Josie, bom dia... Fica-lhe muito bem o cabelo ondulado, abraços na família😉
Looks lovely. Nails too! And I was asking about that type of hair coloring locally in Orlando, girl said about 100-150 depending on a few things. 😳 And don't get me started on groceries lately, not even fresh. 😒 Thanks for the updates!
I used My Way Design in Porto. I told them what kind of couch I wanted and they custom made it. What is nice is that I was able to choose the material too (they have a design shop full of fabrics to choose from). The price was actually quite reasonable for custom made furniture
@@josieinportugal6454 Many thanks Josie. well you have great taste, I really love it but I think I'll have to buy locally as I need it quite quickly. thanks again.

Thanks. His name is Anthony. My neighbor grows it (presumably from seeds).

To all foreign men don't be spooky, our haircut costs only 8€

Fun! Pamper day! Love your hair. That was a great deal! Do you tip hairstylists there? Here in the states usually another 20% on top.

I like your home. Would you be able to show the front full view of your home and how much you paid for the home 🏠 ?
Hi Josie, can you tell me where you bought your sofa please? I would love to buy one like it as it’s exactly what I’m looking for. 😊
Hello Patricia, check video from May 11 (My new house). It was custom made from My Way Design in Porto.
