Iron man came out in 2008 if i remember, and the mcu timeline ran parallel to our timeline,so peter wouldn't have been running around yet. This all makes me believe Nick Fury was referring to Toby's Peter Parker. It was a way to leave the door open for combining what already was established for super hero movies. Luckily it all worked out over a decade later
Exactly. Well... early Cap: First Avenger's script included Wolverine and Magneto cameo. But i think this script was writing in 2008-2009 years. in 2011 it was 2nd attempt for Spider-Man. Marvel Studios wanted to use Oscorp Tower from TASM. But Avengers movie finished filming.
Nah that last line was cheesy, as the top reply says. I think it would work better if it just cuts to Tony's "What are we avenging", then the scene ends, adding some cool ambiguity

The original line in that last deleted scene with nick fury could have changed the entire set up for the MCU an would have jus been a continuation to what was already happening. It’s wild that simply legal rights to the characters is all that changed the entire trajectory of this story.
In my head Toby Maguire’s Spiderman films, MTV Spiderman, Daredevil the film, Electra the film, Ghost Rider films and The Punisher film are all in the same universe. Apparently Wolverine was gonna cameo in Spider-Man 1, but they couldn’t find the costume, so that ended up getting scrapped. @@kevinskywalker5539 True, that confused me too. 0:18 Okay, there's two reasons why I think that doesn't work. One: Jack Murdock was a boxer, not a wrestler. Especially a masked wrestler. That's ridiculous. Two: Having him lose and be casted away with injuries like that kind of makes hard to believe that his death is going to motivate Matt Murdock to become Daredevil in the future.
Movie novelizations add a bunch of references. From the top of my head, Hank Pym was at Octavius’ demonstration and suddenly disappears when things go south. I think Iron Man appears in the novel too.
It was a blooper/prank from the first X-Men movie. they just randomly had some guy dressed as Spider-Man run in, say "Wait, wrong movie, sorry!" and run back out 😂
I believe Punisher, Spider-Man 2, & Daredevil are all connected. It’s almost like only the street level hero’s exist. A Doctors Strange could exist too but maybe looks different and is probably more famous for a surgeon than wizard with a low profile. Hulk, Ghost Rider, and Blade are all just alone in their universes. Fantastic Four and X-men are definitely separate from those mentioned but could be connected to each other somehow. IMO its more like FF are alone in their universe but also think Fox X-men Movies are not all one universe because they contradict one another a lot, so if connected to Fantastic Four it would probably be a variant universe we haven’t seen before with a wolverine that looks like Hugh Jackman.
High Jackman as wolverine was supposed to make a cameo in Sam Raimi Spider-Man but I think his costume being missing prevented it. At least on some level those are connected or were intended to be.
Blade is part of Sam Raimi's Spider-Man universe, because in a deleted scene from Blade 1 Blade meets Morbius, perhaps the scene was deleted because the rights to Morbius were with Sony due to the fact that Morbius is a Spider-Man villain, Ghost Rider is part of the Spider-Man and Daredevil universe too, there is a poster that says "Daredevil" in a scene from the film, besides that Hugh Jackman would appear in Spider-Man 1 but they couldn't find an outfit similar to Wolverine's (LOL) and there is a scene of Reed Richards from 2005 looking like Hugh Jackman's Wolverine
Befor tobey maguire take role of spiderman jude law was spiderman in xmen the spider suite its from david fencher spiderman and jude law was gona be spiderman but at the end sam raimi direct the movie and this great
@@youngemu3949It's a blooper from X Men, but more of an Easter egg if you think about it.. 2:36 i bet it might've been a coincidence, but this name drop does kind of explain why Dr Strange was in No way home (yes i know it's also because his powers to create portals is how we get the past villains and the other two spideys to appear in MCU Spiderman's world, driving the plot, but i just find it interesting)
That last one would've changed everything. The endless implications and connective tissue that is directly implied would've meant we could've had Spider-Man and mutants from the start.
Looking at these "cameos" and deleted scenes kinda makes me wish that we got proper crossovers pre-mcu. It's just too bad that Columbia,Fox (back when it was still around), Universal, Paramount, and Lionsgate NEVER took the initiative to crossover these characters and create a mini universe that would lead to something (similar to) like ultimate alliance

I guess we might as well accept this as the OG MCU. There were so many connections we couldn’t have figured out at first.
"What are we avenging?"
"Whatever the hell we want."
(LOVE THAT WTF was that not kept in? Oh yeah, 'sacred time')
nah that line is cheesy af
Nah that last line was cheesy, as the top reply says. I think it would work better if it just cuts to Tony's "What are we avenging", then the scene ends, adding some cool ambiguity
@@GrandAdmiralBatuKhan i feel like the line can't be saved even with that fixed dialogue, it screams 2000's dialogue
It was because he mentioned mutants. Whixh they didn't have the rights to in 2008. So they used the one in the movie instead.
Daniel Dae Kim is truly a Surgeon

@@Pat_Springleafit’s the deleted nick fury post credit scene. Originally the xmen and tobey spider man where in the mcu. But was deleted so it never came to be
Yep we almost got Tobey’s Spider-Man and Foxs X-men as one with the MCU
Thomas Jane Punisher must be a Mandela Effect bc I have lived on this planet for my whole life and never ever saw, heard or knew of this in any capacity. 😮
Yep haha! I remember seeing the theatrical poster at the movie theater when I was a kid.. couldn't watch it cause it was rated r lol it's a good one! Very different from the other marvel movies at the time.. it's like a Tarantino type of/kind of, movie. Pretty cool👍
That's not Thomas Jane, in fact it's not known if it's the Punisher either, it's not confirmed, but maybe it is
@@anarky_jay It’s His Stunt Double
Apparently the DVD commentary says this. I haven't listened to it
The original line in that last deleted scene with nick fury could have changed the entire set up for the MCU an would have jus been a continuation to what was already happening. It’s wild that simply legal rights to the characters is all that changed the entire trajectory of this story.
In my head Toby Maguire’s Spiderman films, MTV Spiderman, Daredevil the film, Electra the film, Ghost Rider films and The Punisher film are all in the same universe.
Hulk 2003 and Blade could be in the same universe.
Fantastic Four (2005) and the X-Men are also probably the same universe.
Maybe they’re all the same who knows.
Man the original post credits scene of iron man was amazing. I wish they used it
I really loved William Hurt as General Ross 🌟
Imagine if these characters are in the same universe
They are in same universe just marvel joke with fan and say they dosent conceted 😂😂😂 but in secret wars they will come from same universe
Asi??
i believe the original plan was to have hugh jackmans wolverine make an appearance in Spider Man (2002) but the idea was scrapped bc Sony sucks
@@timelordvictorious5508 I always heard "they couldn't find his suit in time" which always felt weird to me. It's not like they could have just put Hugh Jackman in any clothes and called it a day, maybe just having him use the claws to showcase that he is indeed playing Wolverine. I feel like legal issues prevented that
Well i thought like that until 2012
Apparently Wolverine was gonna cameo in Spider-Man 1, but they couldn’t find the costume, so that ended up getting scrapped.
This fact always pisses me off whenever I remember it, since all they really needed to do is give him a tank top, some jeans, and style his hair like in the movie. But no, they wanted that SPECIFIC jacket and jeans 🤦🏿♂️
that one scene could've changed everything
@@AdventVFX There was also gonna be a line of dialogue in iron-man about how Tony helped dock ock design his arms, but that got cut due to licensing issues, as well as the alternate post credit scene where fury mentions radioactive bug bites and mutants.
@@SilentSnake1998, to your top comment, I assumed they wanted the x-men suit which confused me because 1.) Nobody knows the x-men saved them from magneto and 2.) They're in the middle of a festival, before goblin shows up, so why would he be openly wearing the suit?
@@kevinskywalker5539 True, that confused me too. But apparently they wanted the specific jacket from the movie, which I’d say is even worse because at that point all they had to do was just give him a tank top, have him blend into the crowd, maybe do a shot of him saying “screw this” and leaving when Goblin attacks the parade, and call it a day.
I think they dreamed a little too big with this, when it should’ve basically been the Stan Lee cameo.
@@SilentSnake1998, what's wrong with the jacket?

Punisher 2004 was good
I love this version of kingpin, i dont care if you change a character colour but at least make him with good writing and a charismatic actor
Would have been so cool if we got every marvel movie before 2008 involved in the MCU
Marvel 2000,s cameos y conexiones:
General Ross I am a surgeon 😫
Friend or Foe AND the 2002 animated show being Rami continuations was not a thing I knew lol
I wonder what it would have been like if they kept the original intention of acting as if the Pre-MCU movies were indeed part of the same universe.
Movie novelizations add a bunch of references. From the top of my head, Hank Pym was at Octavius’ demonstration and suddenly disappears when things go south. I think Iron Man appears in the novel too.
Also, Namor is the man who found Spider-Man's suit in the Spider-Man 2 novelization
5:24 what? lol RAWRRWRWAWRWARRUWAR ROUND HERE
Both Spider-Man 1 and Captain America were gonna have Wolverine cameos but they fell through for various reasons

1:25 2:18 Is that the chad doctor from the legendary "I am a surgeon" scene? THE dr. Han?
Dr Han I am a surgeon
It canon that spider man was Xmen

It may not qualify as a cameo, but Bruce Campbell played several characters in the original Spider-Man trilogy, which were actually supposed to be the same person in disguise in preparation for the introduction of Mysterio in a non-produced but yes-written 4th movie

So at 2:13 if you look closely between Peter and Harry, the older white gentleman with the glasses is actually the preacher in the Daredevil live action TV series.
There are theories that claim that this man with glasses was the Vulture who would appear in Spider-Man 4, including after the tragedy scene the camera continues to focus on him, of course John Malkovich would play the Vulture but Sam Raimi never saw a problem in presenting certain characters in small scenes but with other actors, in Spider-Man 1 in the scene where Peter is fighting Flash Thompson at school one of Flash's friends tries to hit Peter, this friend of Flash's was actually Eddie Brock, this was even confirmed
I mean when the MCU started, they wanted to connect all the 2000's Marvel movies but knew it wouldn't work so they started from a box of scraps.
The final scene is from "Iron Man" (2008), which also is this that same final scene, which is the first MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) film...
